Wantbaby - my OB hasn't advised either way, and I haven't seen my GP for some time now. I won't be getting it but only because I never get the flu shot anyway. I've never had the flue (touch wood) and the only time I ever had the flu shot I had a nasty reaction and my arm was extremely swollen and my GP said that was very unusual, so i've never had it since!

I know from the general literature that pregnant women are on the list to receive a free flu shot, but after all the dramas with young children and the flu shot lately i'm not 100% convinced it's a good thing, but I haven't really done any research...!
