Brunette - I know i've been emotional enough throughout this pregnancy without having the bed rest and other concerns you have, so I can only imagine how you're feeling. Know though that you're not alone - we've all felt like that at some point (just scroll through previous threads and you'll see), and although that can't help you feel better at least you can see you're not alone. As for feeling like you have no control - I know when I was going through IVF I felt exactly the same way, and at the same time DH and I were trying to organise a move back to Canberra (which is home for me) from Melbourne which meant both of us finding public service jobs at around the same time, finding somewhere to live and working out what we were going to do about IVF if we did move, so all up it was a very stressful time for me. I spoke to a counsellor at MIVF who basically pointed out that I DID have control, and that we did have a plan, it was just that it wasn't quite executed yet. So in your case, you have control over what YOU can do about your babies health, and how you feel about it all, and your doctor has a plan in how he/she is treating you, so even though you might feel like you can't and aren't doing anything, you are doing the best thing you should be xx
Wantbaby - I am SO SO moody at the moment and getting increasingly frustrated and annoyed at DH for not recognising that my mood is because of being in late pregnancy and for taking offence and snapping back at me and frankly I don't care about his feelings at the moment as i'm rather more concerned about mine! So you're not going crazy at all, and I just read that increased mood swings are just another fun element we have to deal with at this point in our pregnancies...!! Glad though that you can take a break from DH - hope you enjoy shopping with your mum
Paula - we've also bought everything we need to, which is one of the reasons why I didn't want a baby shower. Plus, like wantbaby, i'm very fussy and particular about what I like and don't want people buying me crap!! Oh i'm such a lovely person aren't I?!
As for the clumsiness all - I haven't broken anything lately (touch wood!!!) but I do keep tripping up the rugs on our floors. Yes the rugs, i'm like a toddler learning how to walk who can't quite manage the slight increase in height once they hit the rug. And we have a lot of rugs in the house so I have plenty of opportunities to fall over, lol.
