Glenny C i can relate fully to both the sleeping or lack thereof and also your job. I too am a teacher and currently work in a job share 3 days a week and casual the other 2. My job share contract ends at the end of this year. I too have had full intention of working as long as i possibly can. I'm not sure what your principal is like but i have a very supportive one who has told me that i don't need to give a definate date and can just keep going until i find it gets too much. She has been very supportive. I think it is hard to know how you/your body will react the further along you get and hence makes it hard to make a decision so soon. I would go crazy if i was off from 27 weeks knowing that i felt well enough to still be doing my job. I know how much you get attahced to the children and don't want just anyone to finish the year off with them. If you feel comfortable talk to your principal about your concerns and see what he/she says. It is a hrad decision to make, maybe see how your doing at the end of this term and make your decision from there. Good luck with it. I have given up getting a good night sleep atm doesn't matter which way i lay i always need to roll every hr or so making it difficult to roll with a pillow between your legs!!!! Not sure what to do about that!
