To Renee's "Little Bug", mummy is ready to meet you now! Would you like to come out and play? Please? Pretty please?
Possums, it seems to vary a bit. My bloating went down at 10wks, so if yours does the same then it would probably be before you're showing. But some ladies (mostly with OHSS) find it sticks around until the bump starts and it's like the bloating decreases as the bump increases, so they stay the same size (until they get further along and get bigger). I'm overweight, so I've had people seemingly surprised to learn I was pg as recently as 34wks. When my co-workers found out at 27wks only a couple said they had wondered (because the top I wore that day was a bit more fitting than what I normally wore to work); the rest were surprised.
dreamrise, this is our first, but I'm already majorly protective and paranoid! If you've got a bad feeling about a situation, acting on it seems a sensible option. If you said nothing and something did happen, you'd be blaming yourself forever.
WW, sending you *no leg cramps* vibes!
Yogi, I hope the meds you're on this time do the trick and this baby comes home with you in 8 months time, a happy and healthy bub!
Bec, I actually went the other way with the HPTs. I couldn't bring myself to test before the beta. On the day of the beta I was literally sitting on the bed crying at the thought of another BFN HPT (which I was sure it would be). Even once I was told the beta was BFP, I couldn't bring myself to use one... So, I didn't use even 1 HPT this pregnancy.
