Oneday - big congrats on the pink bundle!!! so exciting
Kaybee - oh dear, hope your sugar levels are ok, hope the birthday party goes well too!
Albi - I'm so sorry, sending hugs to you and family. Wow sounds like you've had a massive week. My morning sickness was different with each bub - from 6 weeks with DD1 I vomited for 7 months. with DD2 I only vomited from 6-14 weeks, and with this baby I have only vomited a couple of times, just really tired and hungry alot, some nausea from about 6 weeks. Its so hard to tell, I have friends who have no ms at all.
Mindhugs - glad to hear you and bub are well, goodluck with your cousin, its not nice feeling frustrated and under-appreciated esp when you've been trying to help.
kass - hi and glad to hear you're going well
grub - so exciting, def sounds like baby is getting ready soon - eek - I had DD1 exactly 1 week after my "show". hope bub can hold out til your mum arrives though! still so exciting!
Kelly - wow supermum already, sounds like everything is going really well!
AFM - nothing new just wanted to say hi, wishing my pregnancy body would keep up with all the things I want to get done lol!
Just a quickie as I no longer have Internet access at home (hopefully will be on with new service in a couple of weeks - it's killing me not having it).
BDT - so sorry to hear your sad news. I was hopeful your bleed wasn't too major. Fingers crossed that you have another miracle when you feel ready to try again.
Well I have finished my new job working with the Aspergers boy as yesterday he basically lost the plot when I tried to get him to do his school work and he started throwing things at me (tape player, Size D batteries, 2 glasses of water, and whatever else he could get his hands on) all the while he was swearing at me and then he threatened to punch and kick my tummy (he had already told me the day before that he knew there was a baby in there so it was really stressful when he then made those threats). I ended up in tears and his mum had to come home from work. It was actually really scarey. The agency I was working for have now decided from an OH&S perspective it is too dangerous for me to continue... so I'm unemployed again!
On top of that we have started cleaning and repairing the unit at the back of my house which my old tenant basically wrecked before she did a runner owing rent and bill money. We had to remove all carpet, underlay and curtains and burn them and have bleached the concrete and sugar soaped the walls. Now leaving it to air out for a few days to see if the smell from her dogs urine and poo everywhere will clear. We also found piles of used needles all over the unit, dog **** in plastic bags and hidden under furniture and saucepans and pots of fat and god knows what hidden in the bathroom cupboard, the TV unit and wardrobe! I can't believe someone could live like that!
Anyway with some luck we might only have to repaint one room and do a little bit of patching and then get new carpet and underlay and replace 5 doors and then be able to rent it out again. Oh and she also left 6 rotten mattresses and a couch here for me to have to take to the tip!
As for bub... well the day after I wrote about not feeling any movement I finally starting feeling it... which was nice.
I also had another trip to emergency with those same pains that I got just before Easter. They have not decided that it is caused by a virus in my chest lining and if I wasn't pregnant they would give me pain killers and anti-inflammatories but due to the pregnancy I can't have the later. The Dr was suprised it has gone on this long but did tell me to come back again in a few days if it's still persisting... though he has no idea what else they will be able to do.
25 weeks now... I have found this pregnancy so much more taxing physically then my last (granted that was about 15 years ago). I hope I go a little early because at the moment another 15 weeks just seems far too long.
Albi - gosh that's horrible. My heart goes out to you and your husband and family.
Lori - obviously you were living with a drug addict who was using your car to make long trips to score, and then sabotaged your property by planting bags of poo and fat everywhere. Apart from living a soiled, druggy existence. Just what you need when you are heavily pregnant!!! Glad you aren't working in a threatening environment anymore. Too risky when dangerous.
AFM - bloated from having too much gluten, which is naughty of me, but so hard to avoid. Pork pies, scotch eggs and cornish pasties!!! But I regret it all now
Hello all,
BDT so sorry that this little one has left you. Take care of yourself.
Lori - wow, what a mess, and not what you need. Hope that you are able to sort something out - with work and the unit! Glad that you are getting movement though - must be reassuring.
Oneday - congrats on the scan - glad that everything is well with you little girl
Kelly - those photos do not sound pretty - but good to have for the boy's 21st! Hope you get to have a bit of a rest as well as catching up on all that washing!
Grub - wow, does not sound like far to go now... my DS was born 48 hrs after my show (although I was 371/2wks) ...hope that your little on is going to hold on a bit longer! Hope your DS lets you to get some rest - put those feet up!
afm - nothing much to report. Just tired, feeling a bit sick but nothing bad. In some ways just wish I felt sick all the time so I did not worry about something going wrong Typical -never happy !
Hello to everyone I've missed with the personals, but DH has the football on and I really need to escape to the bath - and not sure I can really take the work puter in there
Take care everyone and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
farmgirl- if you are going to dropa puter in the bath, may as well be your work one i think that worry is pretty normal. I'm still worried about 'something going wrong' cos this was so "easy'' this time round in terms of falling! only been preg twice in my life... my first is sitting having a 'babycino' with daddy, the 2nd is doing some mean things to my bladder atm. i think it's part of the lttc with ac legacy. ox
mh - please don't talk pastry here!!! nom nom nom lol
trishy - oh i really feel for you. is your dd better today? and the further you get the harder it is to keep up with the llittlies. My DS now knows he can run away from me with a fairly good success rate!
lori - sounds like you are better off without that one!
aimee- yeah, i hear you! but I am planning to vacuum, tidy the kitchen, fold the washing, completely clean our very dusty room, clean the windows etc today. $50 DH intervenes and won't let me! but won't do it himself... not 'properly' anyway lol. Just do a little bit, sit down, little more!
I've been frantic with the cleaning lately! Last night i got an hour or two of mild contractions and lots of lower down discomfort, was concerned it was time!thankfully still here with bub inside I really feel like 'something' will happen soon as I didn't feel all this prelabour with DS. But I know it can go for weeks and I think the anticipation will be exhausting!!!
We both just have to be patient for about 10 more days til we hit 37 weeks and it'll all be good... I hope!!!
I bet you I'll now go 2 weeks over due cos i "think'' things are happening now, so early lol. just my bleeting luck!
farmgirl hope the bath helped and made you feel better
grub sounds a bit like your nesting.
AFM DD kept getting high temps so was vomiting because it, which set me off. Plus I think Ive hardly had any sleep that it makes me ill any way. Dreading tomorrow. Have GD test and if I am already feeling under weather I hate that drink
Well had a little more brown mucous this morning so decided to call FS and he said for me to come straight in for scan. So had scan and saw a beautiful little bub with a healthy heart beat!! FS couldn't see any reason for brown loss but says no sex for at least 10 days and rest! So VERY relieved. Now get to make appoint with Obstetrition. FS has revised EDC to 15th Jan. Still feeling sick with cold today. Felt queezy at lunch but it was more like when your really hungry and once I'd eaten felt better
Hey ladies thanks for the advice i did go and have the other scan today and feel much happier, get the pics tomorrow but this lady was much more thorough, my other scan went for half an hr and this one today went for 1 hr 15 mins!! i have a very active bub as tis time and last the ladies said its very active as she wouldnt stop moving!!! she also said it a little girl so excited!
Albi so glad to hear about your scan and dont worry about the brown blood cause i had it too at the start xxx
Kass the time flies hey? i cant believe im half way next week!!!
Congrats drbee!!! thats great everything crossed!
Grubs yeah thats a bit dissapointing, im prob taking everything to heart too much but im just so worried this is my one and only time at being pg so everything is so important to me as you ladies would know xxxxx
Albe good luck with the scan, everything will be fine, and dont worry about the no symptoms the only symptom iv had the whole way is constipation!!! seriously nothing else xxx
Kass - I have some reassurance knowing you have no symptoms either!! It's driving me insane. When I got my BFP my breasts were tender and swollen. Now they may still be slightly larger (not sure now) but not sore!! Also have shocking head cold so feel tired and was a little nauseas yesterday but that's probably cause I'm sick!!
JBM - sorry your feeling sick!! When did u start your M/s?
Drbee - congratulations!!
AFM - as Ive said I'm worried about lack of symptoms. I'm 6w5d and desperate for that scan!! Very scared it will be empty. Had a tiny amount of orange mucous today with a little pink. Hoping it goes away. No cramping or anything.
sorry i havn't had time to do any personals as only have net at work atm
bummer hey
still feeling sick, i have been for since about 6 weeks and now it is in the morning and evening as well. no throwing up yet just feel like it, which is worse !!!!
i had sickness with 2 of my boys and nothing at all with 3rd boy only reflux after about 5 or 6 months preg. so who knows ??
i will be having a scan at 11 weeks so 3 weeks and 2 days... another thing to count down to.
yipee
will hope to get internet on at home soon as i am going crazy . lol
albi - your lack of symptoms is reassuring for me too! When is your scan? Try not to worry about the mucus, I had a bit a couple of weeks ago, but bt and scan showed everything was fine. I think it was just irritation from the crinone.
JBM - hope your nausea doesn't get any worse!
