BDT my heart sank when I read your post. GBH's

Sorry Ive been quite. Tired and just struggling to get anything done let alone catch up on her. DD is sick so its not helping with my sleepless nights

Albi - gosh that's horrible. My heart goes out to you and your husband and family.

Lori - obviously you were living with a drug addict who was using your car to make long trips to score, and then sabotaged your property by planting bags of poo and fat everywhere. Apart from living a soiled, druggy existence. Just what you need when you are heavily pregnant!!! Glad you aren't working in a threatening environment anymore. Too risky when dangerous.

AFM - bloated from having too much gluten, which is naughty of me, but so hard to avoid. Pork pies, scotch eggs and cornish pasties!!! But I regret it all now

    Hello all,
BDT so sorry that this little one has left you. Take care of yourself.

Lori - wow, what a mess, and not what you need. Hope that you are able to sort something out - with work and the unit! Glad that you are getting movement though - must be reassuring.

Oneday - congrats on the scan - glad that everything is well with you little girl

Kelly - those photos do not sound pretty - but good to have for the boy's 21st! Hope you get to have a bit of a rest as well as catching up on all that washing!

Grub - wow, does not sound like far to go now... my DS was born 48 hrs after my show (although I was 371/2wks) ...hope that your little on is going to hold on a bit longer! Hope your DS lets you to get some rest - put those feet up!

afm - nothing much to report. Just tired, feeling a bit sick but nothing bad. In some ways just wish I felt sick all the time so I did not worry about something going wrong Typical -never happy !

Hello to everyone I've missed with the personals, but DH has the football on and I really need to escape to the bath - and not sure I can really take the work puter in there

Take care everyone and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

farmgirl- if you are going to dropa puter in the bath, may as well be your work one i think that worry is pretty normal. I'm still worried about 'something going wrong' cos this was so "easy'' this time round in terms of falling! only been preg twice in my life... my first is sitting having a 'babycino' with daddy, the 2nd is doing some mean things to my bladder atm. i think it's part of the lttc with ac legacy. ox

mh - please don't talk pastry here!!! nom nom nom lol

trishy - oh i really feel for you. is your dd better today? and the further you get the harder it is to keep up with the llittlies. My DS now knows he can run away from me with a fairly good success rate!

lori - sounds like you are better off without that one!

aimee- yeah, i hear you! but I am planning to vacuum, tidy the kitchen, fold the washing, completely clean our very dusty room, clean the windows etc today. $50 DH intervenes and won't let me! but won't do it himself... not 'properly' anyway lol. Just do a little bit, sit down, little more!

I've been frantic with the cleaning lately! Last night i got an hour or two of mild contractions and lots of lower down discomfort, was concerned it was time!thankfully still here with bub inside I really feel like 'something' will happen soon as I didn't feel all this prelabour with DS. But I know it can go for weeks and I think the anticipation will be exhausting!!!

We both just have to be patient for about 10 more days til we hit 37 weeks and it'll all be good... I hope!!!

I bet you I'll now go 2 weeks over due cos i "think'' things are happening now, so early lol. just my bleeting luck!

mindhugs I agree with grum nom nom nom

farmgirl hope the bath helped and made you feel better

grub sounds a bit like your nesting.

AFM DD kept getting high temps so was vomiting because it, which set me off. Plus I think Ive hardly had any sleep that it makes me ill any way. Dreading tomorrow. Have GD test and if I am already feeling under weather I hate that drink

    Hi Ladies,

This might be another quickie - DS is asleep, but for how long, who knows. I survived the party of the year yesterday - weather and everything was awesome. Next year we will definitely be hiring a play centre or something. Can't see myself doing all that with a bub as well. So wierd to think that I'll have a 9 month old baby then.

Kelly - you are just unbelievable. Thanks for dropping by in all of that spare time you must have now. I will check your pics straight after this.

DR - what a nigthmare you are living. It is one thing after another. I really really hope everything is settled and sorted for you before your bub comes. Good luck

Trichy - hope your GD test goes better than mine did.

Grub - I hope you're not outta here too soon. Your DH sounds like mine. Loves to tell me not to do the housework (when I'm sick/pregnant/breastfeeding, etc), but never says "Let me do it" always says "leave it and do it later". Thanks! I'd rather get it done now. I;m sure your house will be the sparkliest ever by the time your bub comes.

Mindhugs - stop it with the food -you're making me hungry. How frustrating about your cousin. When people like 'us' are in here trying to get advice from other experienced LTTTCers throughout our IVF cycles and she has a real life relo who is trying to help and she ignores it all. It really makes you wonder, doesn't it.

Albi - oh my god, what an awful thing to experience. Like someone else (grub?) said, it must be a real mixture of feelings for you guys right now. Hope you can come in here and just feel pregnancy joy for a few minutes whenever you can manage it. Hope your scan goes well too

Hi everyone else - Oneday, Aimee, Trishy.....

Have the mega long wait clinic tomorrow and have to take DS with me just to top it off. I get to hang out at the hospital for a few hours with all the 'lovely' people. Can't wait. Take care ladies xo

My hips, my HIPS!!!! I've had 2 very rough nights of sleep. My bum and thigh joints are killing me. At one point when I rolled over last night I thought one of my hips had dislocated!!! Does anyone have any tips or solutions for this? Otherwise I'm off to the Physio..........again! Everything is cracking and moving, plus the pain in bum feels a bit like sciatica or something. Aaaaaargh!

Grub - you're next you're next you're next!!! Yew! Exciting. I remember when I came in here and you were past the 20 week mark, and I was thinking "I wonder what it's like to be that far pregnant". And now YOU ARE DUE! Gosh, just goes to show how quick it all goes huh? I'm finding the 2nd half of the pregnancy is flying. Good luck, if you have to slip out early to give birth, just know we are all thinking of you and very excited!!!

Farmgirl - I so understand wanting to feel some kind of symptom like MS to confirm that pregnancy is all good. But my god, did I have it bad. Not sure I would wish that on anyone. Mine didn't really start to kick in until the 6 week mark, so you could be in luck yet (sic). I'm sure everything is absolutely fine with your bub on board regardless

Kaybee - the long waiting clinic - ugh! My OB always seems to be running late from some emergency CS or something like that.

Trishy - takes it's toll being pregnant at this age huh. At least you got to experience what it was like to be preggers a few years younger. This is my 1st! The tiredness is kicking in, but I'm finding it hard to accept and try to keep going. Probably a bit silly of me. Hope little DD is feeling better soon.

Well I capped off my gluten run on the weekend with a home made sticky date pudding!!! I paid for it with my allergies, just some bloating and mild liver pain. Hope bub enjoyed it. I am aware I'll have to back off all my allergy food when breast feeding as well. Can I really go another 18 months or so being a good girl? Aye - so hard......

Aimee no I dont make them up, but they make me laugh too. Aimee I have a to do list as well. An a4 page filled on one side and 1/2 filled on the other. I am slowly making my way through it.

Grub I went a week over with my dd and then it was nearly hitting xmas and the ob took pitty on me as he was going away and induced me. Your mum will be here now. Hope that give you a bit of a break and you DS is having fun with your mum. grub your very close now.

JBM I would have major withdrawals with no internet, so chat away. Enjoy your sister weekend and hope you are feeling better. All the best for your scan.

Oneday its great you got to go away. I am hope for at least a date night lol. But DP is travelling so much for work still I'm not sure if it will happen

Bugs mum I should get my iron check, my stores are always on the low side and I have fainted a few time. yay to 3 weeks to go.

Possums yay to the extra scan, it so great to get another peak.

Lori thats really sad, but I am sure you will be there for her and support her like you do us on here.

Kass great news on the results, I've been a total slacker this pregnancy with exercise compared to my DD.

Aimee your nursery prep sounds like mine, our room was a storage room as well. Ive slowly started to clean it out. But we have some things that will have to stay put there as no were else to put them. Poor bubba.

I finally went and got my bassinet out of the shed to check it out and it need a wash as it kinda had like a water stain on the material. But now I have torn the lining that sits under the basket bit, argh I dont have a sewing machine to fix it. So have to put the call out to friends.

aimee- glad the nursery is taking shape... i am in full nesting/cleaning mode

hello bugsmum, oneday, JBM, mindhugs and everyone else!!

afm- am sitting here watching some alien like moves just under my ribs, lol...love the movement- scan on thurs to check on him, and the amniotic fluid etc, so looking forward to that. and DH and I did lots of work in the nursery on the weekend...it's starting to look great..we've ended up with a 'forest friends' type theme...and have a tree on one wall with a mum and baby owl sitting in it, over his cot...very cute and DH did a top job with it. I also started washing little outfits...they looked sweet on the line.
sorry for not being in here so much lately...work/life has been busy

JBM - morning and night sickness, yuck!

Well had a little more brown mucous this morning so decided to call FS and he said for me to come straight in for scan. So had scan and saw a beautiful little bub with a healthy heart beat!! FS couldn't see any reason for brown loss but says no sex for at least 10 days and rest! So VERY relieved. Now get to make appoint with Obstetrition. FS has revised EDC to 15th Jan. Still feeling sick with cold today. Felt queezy at lunch but it was more like when your really hungry and once I'd eaten felt better

I can't get past the absolutely excruciating pain in my butt and hips when I am sleeping. Comes on about 1am - 3am and just increases in intensity until I am no longer able to sleep. I went to the physio, she worked on it and gave me some lovely stretches - that are doing nothing!!!! Jeezus!!! This baby is obviously tucked right back there on my nerve and it's killing me! I won't make it through the next 12 weeks like this. No way.

Hi girls - everyone is sounding well.

OneDay - great news. Was worth the scan for the peace of mind.

Did everyone see Allysa Camplin on 60 minutes. Gosh that was hard to see. Actually I should have switched off. How did they not know about the Congenital Heart Disease until 32 weeks. In fact in "Woman's Day" they elaborate and say she was admitted to hospital with food poisoning and so the hospital ran a thorough check on bubs to make sure everything was ok in there - and that's when they found it - by accident! Gee I thought they checked all that quite thoroughly at the mid term scan??? I know my radiographer look at the heart thoroughly, but is that not enough? Does anyone have any thoughts or knowledge on this?

Albi - good news. Congrats on your scan.

N2L - hi there. Would loooove to have you join us all in here!

    Grub -

Poss - glad to hear you're still somewhat active. And I'm loving the decision of the OB, even though you have to travel. It's only going to give you more peace of mind. I think it's def worth it!

JBM - mmmm MS. I know that feeling particularly well.

Ok girlfriends - have a great night! The 1st of Oprah's farewell shows are on tonight. After all this pain and lack of sleep I will need a few match sticks to keep the old lids up!!!

mh - got bad news for you, I am still kept awake with the leg/bum pain. it's like my hip muscles are wayyyyy overstretched and then they cramp and ache ache ache. It used to be okay if i rolled from side to side every so often, although annoying waking so much.

but now (the last 2 nights) it hurts constantly, no matter how i lay. I'm thinking about lseeping in the recliner tonight.

I find i don't get it as bad during my day nap so am surviving on an hour's sleep during the day while DS is cactus!

albi - i always thought brown was usually nothing too much to worry about as it was old blood. but so glad you got another peek and that all is good!!!

oneday! good move... a little girl!!! huge congrats! i think you are just about the only one with a pink one in there atm lol. it's hard without the list to remember, but i think it's mostly blue in here!!!

fingers crossed for you N2L although i'm about to leave this thread (i bleeting well hope anyway lol).

jbm - gee you love a count down don't you lady lol. ox

hi drbee, possums, lori, kass, trishy, farmgirl, kaybee and any one i've missed!!!

afm - the hips are killing so i'm tired 36 weeks today yipppeee that's only one week til i'm 'full term' and good for launch. bub is sitting extremely low now (not sure if it's engaged or not) and causing heaps of twingy pain in my groin and lots and lots and LOTS of toilet trips. it was annoying before, having to go to the loo so much, but now i'm there every 30 mins at least! and very very thirsty as well which is apparently normal and should help with the canckle issue i'm having. Belly button also MIA as of yesterday (it never completely flattened with ds).

ugh just feel so huge and over it. Am only good for half a day, then need a good rest for a couple of hours before i can manage to do dinner and wash up... and then i'm cactus again!!!

grub- i feel for you! but so close now- how are you feeling emotionally about it all? or are you too tired to think about it much

MH- that pain sounds awful...and a lack of sleep can get to you too...although I suppose we should start getting prepared for that! I hope your boy moves off that nerve for you and gives you a break

    oneday- great about the scan!

trishy- glad your results came though all good and your DD sounds very sweet!

JBM- I was very bloated from early on! hope your sickness doesnt last too many more weeks

    bex- congratulations and welcome!!

albi- glad you had a scan and all is good!

kass- there is always something to worry about, it's normal for all of us I think, but if you can, take it a week at a time and enjoy feeling well

n2l- hope you are in here soon

    hi everyone else in here!!

afm- clinic check up showed all is on track and I am doing well, which is great; I also had a remedial massage last night which has eased my shooting low back pain somewhat...GD test is next week- I have to go straight to the full diagnostic one (fasting, then drink the sweet drink and wait at the clinic for two hours!) due to my Graves Disease, autoimmune issues... and Ob appt is also next week...
then the following week is my 28 week scan (regular scans for me coming up, due to the antiphospholipid syndrome, which can restrict the baby's growth in the last tri sometimes). and nursery is taking shape...makes it feel VERY real. I am excited and nervous about becoming a mum!
