mmmmmmmmmmm havent seen green around today girls...have you ??? i wonder were she might be anyways hun im sooooooooooo thinking of you and hope you are having your bubba
i've noticed in the last week my nipples have been quite dry and flaky, and look like they're starting to crack! I use plain sorbolene cream all over my body so have just been using that on my boobs too - but just wanted to know if there are particular creams/lotions I should/shouldn't be using in your experience? I don't want to aggravate the problem!
Londonmiss - Just wanted say that I know what you mean about not feeling PG anymore... I felt the same at roughly the same time in my pregnancy... I had no symptoms and no movement and I was really worried that my scan at 19 weeks would reveal something terrible so uch so that I wouldn't put the MCN's on layby that I wanted until I had seen that everything was ok... Which of course it was.. As for feeling movement... I didn't feel any until 21 weeks because my placent alies straight acroos the from=nt of my belly which cushions it all for a bit longer... Loving feeling all the movement now though.. And what a lovely thing to do for your Mum.. A couple of hours by Darling harbour doesn't sound too bad either...
Lise- Lansinoh is the lanolin cream I think Saph204 is referring to.. It comes in a purple and mauve tube...
Smithy - Your video is super gorgeous.. You can hear the wonder and love in your voice.. Thanks for sharing that and Miss Charlie is gorgeous just like her Mum...
Murph01 - Don't you hate flippant comments like that.. I hope that if you do look into it more that there are some answers to be had... I think you need another Bub in time.. You have too much to offer to just bring one little Murph into this world...
Miss Magpie - I hope that motherhood is still bringing you mountains of joy...
BDT - How are you going sweetie.. I am thinking of you constantly and the girls and I hope that you are not too uncomfortble.. How did you find the heat today on the coast.. It certainly knocked me for a very Aussie six...
BOC - How are you doing Hun... I love reading what you are up to cause I am so close in dates to you...
Greeslw - Hmm... Missing Huh? Sending happy vibes for whatever you are doing... I hope that there is some movement in the Green station...
AFM - Does anyone else get or have gotten bad rib discomfort.. I feel like the ribs straight under my BB's are being crushed.. It usually starts about 3.00pm in the arve and doesn't go away until I go to bed.. I also get the skin in the same place feel like it's raw and have a burning feeling... I bought 2 new maternity bras cause I went up a size but can't wear them.. Even the lycra singlets with the light elastic lining hurt.. so I'm running free in an unsupported lycra singlet at work now.. Oops.. poor work mates... Best news ever though is that I am cutting down my work hours from eight hours a day to six as of tomorrow... Woohoo... It has been starting to take it's toll and I want to look after lil Kracker and myself as much as I can...
Hi to everyone I have missed and Happy Australia day.. Aussie Aussie Aussie...
Oi Oi Oi..
lise...the cream you want is lansinoh.......it is pure lanolin and the only one you can use on your breasts and not have to wash off to breastfeed....I have been using it for a few weeks now and it is truly awesome...you use such a small amount one tube should do your whole breastfeeding journey......
further thing re lanisoh cream - is you can use it to protect your wool nappy covers if you go clothe.
i just used homebrand vitamin e cream all over my body to help with dryness and itchiness.
oh and LM - that time after the 12 weeks scan and before movements are felt is torture! i felt movement about 17 weeks as well. And you are not crazy. even at my 32 week growth scan i was worrying they'd not find a heartbeat or such. After years of everything going wrong all the time, I think we just come to expect it and have real trouble accepting this wonderful thing is actually happening to US! Isn't having babies what everyone else does??? iykwim.
ooh, hope you are all correct about green!!! go lady fingers crossed for safe and sound delivery.
Oh my goodness, I've been to black tie events looking less polished than you do giving birth!!! What beautiful girls you have, so many many congratulations x
i cant see the babies can someone try and give me the active link........ its killing me i wanna see lol.
i just can not sighn into f/b as my ex might see me and i can not have that.
Saph...you are one of three ladies, all one after the other who I breathed a huge sigh of relief for when your baby was out. Phew...what a tough ride you have had. If I had felt just a bit of the pain some of you girls went through, I'd have been a mess. You, Smithy and Greenslw deserve medals. I haven't been so relieved since Briggsysgirl gave birth to the cheeky miss Emerald. Anyway onthe birth of your Xavier, a huge and hearty CONGRATULATIONS and enjoy your second round of mummyhood. I bet there's heaps you've forgotten.
BDT..all the comments have been made, but I thought I'd walked onto a set of Neighbours, you all look so gorgeous. My DH looked gorgeous (to me anyway) but I looked like I gave birth naturally over a 30 hour labour I'm sure of it I don't think i will post those. seriously though, you look like you are going fantastically and I'm so happy for you. Great news on the smooth c-sect. A word of warning, keep on top of your bowel movements...pear juice, pear juice, pear juice and soaked prunes. never underestimate the power of constipation and trapped wind after surgery, I ended up back in hosi. Enjoy it all...I'm so wistful of those memories already. Congratulations on your lovely Sophia and Aria (such pretty names too)
Smithy...oh honey, so sorry that's your reason for not going on facebook. Now I'm even happier I copy the public link for you. Maybe BDT could copy the public link for you and I hope you see them soon.
