Awwwww Wantbaby what you are feeling is exactly 100% normal! I was the same, and while I got movement early the gap between U/Ss was excruciating.

Oh and believe me, try as hard as you can to enjoy the little tummy, I exploded really early and it is just as horrible when you're already tired, emotional and worried to have everyone you see tell you how huge you look on a daily basis. I tell ya, if one more person asked me "how many" I was having or said "how an earth are you going to make it to full term you're so huge already!" I was gonna slap someone

Just try & enjoy every day, make the most of it.

So when is the big scan hun?

Boc~ Thankyou. My scan isnt until March 9 but i have my next antenatal 25th Feb so i might get my ob to do a quick scan.He doesnt like scanning much but seeing as im a nervous wreck normally and im paying sooooo much,i should be a bit more demanding.I have just started sculpting again.I took a few months break from working due to a mental block so that, and baking chocolate cupcakes all afternoon has taken my mind off things for a while.
Now im heading back to the kitchen to cook Chicken Chasseur with Potato and Fried garlic Zucchinni...yummy.

Hi girls, Feeling so much better today. Quickly do my birth story, I had the prostin gel put on at 4 pm and contractions pretty much started straight away. They sent me down to the birth suites at 10 to have epidural in as because of my pelvis they wanted it started early. So that went in round about 1 am and as I rolled onto my side so it worked on oth side not just one my waters broke. I was examined and was only 3cm dilated we were all taking bets as to what time. Concences was about 5am. Well in just under an hour i was fully dilated and with a few good pushes he was here. It was the most wonderful experience having him put on my chest still covered in goop. We didnt have this with Campbell he was rushed off to intensive care before i got to hold him. The worry I had with the two boys bonding was a waste. Campbell came in bypassed me and wnet straight to Xavier and was patting him and touching him and kissing him. It was the the most beautiful thing to see.
Now for the gorry bits. I had a large blood loss and so last night had three blood transfussions, but /i feel wonderful today. Maybe home tomorrow we will have to see as Xavier has an ultrasound at 4. He is feeding well.

    Hope everyone is doing well.

Saph - congratulations on the birth of Xavier. Thanks for sharing your birth story and I am glad to hear you are feeling much better. I bet it would have been beautiful to see Campbell being so loving to his little brother.

Wantbaby - glad you are feeling better. Your baking sounds delicious! And I agree that you are paying the specialist a fortune so if you want a quick scan he should oblige.

Greenslw - Congratulations to you to on the birth of Lincoln. Good luck with the breast feeding I hope it is getting easier for you.

BDT - good luck tomorrow. I look forward to hearing your news.

AFM - I am a bit behind on the whole finding out gender discussion. We are having our 20 weeks scan in about 2 weeks and we won't be finding out the gender. DH was adamant about not wanting to know so I guess I never really had to make the decision. I am happy with that though and think it will be a lovely surprise at the end of all that pushing.

A big hello to everyone else!

Hey all. Good luck for tomorrow BDT, hope all goes well for you. Saph - thanks for the birth story. I'm liking the theme of very short births ever since Poppy started the trend! Hopefully it can continue for another 5 months!

    Smithy - what's a PIG? I'm intrigued.

Nothing new to report here. Been to pregnancy yoga and my back feels better. DH flies tomorrow and back Thursday 4.45 am. Hope you are all well. x

Hmmmm wonder what BDT is doing right now??? Can't wait for the news!

Sorry it's a bit of a "me" post. Got the attention span of a goldfish today and persies just weren't working LOL but rest assured I am thinking of you all and hoping everything is going swimmingly in your worlds!

AFM: Had my Ob visit yesterday. Got a big NO to GD (Yay!) and a big NO to Factor 5 Leiden (Yay!) so very relieved there. Cookie is still measuring +3cm on fundal so if still that way next fortnight they're booking me in for another 3D US (Yay! Well not that it's big but at another 3D US cause our 20 week one was crap due to a certain little someone misbehaving!)

And we're still very much a breech, hasn't budged in over 5 weeks now! So been told the big decision will be made in 5 weeks and to prepare myself for the likelihood of a caesar. I'm actually quite comfortable with it, surprisingly. Maybe because I've had time to prepare and thought it all over in my head. Anyway as long as Cookie arrives safely that's all that matters!

Our antenatal and our Breastfeeding clinic are all finished now. DH loved it and it was great seeing him get so involved. I really got nothing out of antenatal, they really didn't tell me anything I didn't already know but the Breastfeeding clinic was fantastic! I would highly recommend it to anyone who gets the option, even if it's not your first as there has been lots of changes in research over the past year.

My physio is starting to dread me I think, now it's not only my back but my coccyx and right hip have packed it in too. Ahhhh not long now and hopefully it will get better. DH says he just needs a bullet to fix it

So the countdowns begin, first cab off the rank, 1 week & 4 days to our 1st anniversary and our holiday YAY! Then 8+6 til EDD double YAY!

to you all, hope everyone has a great day!
