    Just popping in!

Smithy - what a strong woman you must be....I cannot imagine what you have been through... I am glad you have finally found happiness. I can see just from the photos I have seen, that you and Coops share a strong and loving relationship and I can see what a caring, lovely gentle man he is from his eyes and the way he looks at you in your pics. I know I am basing this only on pics but I am glad you have found such a lovely relationship when you could have sooo easily given up hope because of your experience.

Loula - Welcome! I know what you mean about where you belong on threads. I joined my BB thread for my due date and as much as they were lovely ladies I just felt I belonged here more with ladies who understood the anxiety of a LTTC pregnancy. I would lurk in my BB thread because I was interested in their progress but I never posted. Just felt more at home here...

LM - so let me guess....is your surname Price, Marsh, Rooney or Cole? I know some would disagree with me about the last two but anyway!!!!

    Everyone else belly rubs!

AFM - Got a few minutes free from a hungry bub wanting booby as he is out with his daddy dogwalking. Progress has been made because we are now feeding hourly instead of every flipping minute!!! Still dodgy on the attachment (attaches pretty well on his favourite boob but hopeless on the other!) One nurse at the hospital (when he was getting his thyroid blood test....hell time!!)reckons he might have a slight tongue tie. I am going to the antenatal class graduates show off session today so I will get the midwife to have a look.
Have started co-sleeping ( don't tell anyone LOL!!!) so we are getting tons of sleep at night. I guessed it wasn't worth the stress of putting him in and out of the moses basket throughout the night. We plan to get a bedside cot (using a guard rail on our bed at the moment) and then gradually move him into that and then move the cot away from our bed. I figure he is just not ready to self settle yet. Four weeks ago he was being fed and held 24 hours a day...I don't believe he should be going off that cold turkey. Little by little is ok with me.

I'm delighted to announce that Melbel's special little guy Connor Jack Edward arrived last night at 11.10pm, via the sunroof after her waters broke!

The big fella weighed in at 4.4kg or 9lbs11oz, 51.5 cm long & 35cm HC. In special care to monitor blood sugar levels but otherwise doing fine.

I am so happy for you guys words can't describe! Congratulations and I hope that your recovery is swift Mel.

Can't wait to meet him and have snuggles
Look what I found girls, another blue bundle to add to our ever expanding lists of bubba's.

Congrats Melbel on the arrival of you BIG little boy.

Poppyfairy~ When i had my son 13 yrs ago i slept with him cradled in my arm until he was 12 months old.I was a paranoid mother and he was a baby who had asthma that would stop breathing through the night.I could feel and hear him not breathing as he was so close to me that i would wake, give him a gentle shake to get him to take a breath! It was comforting to me knowing he wasnt alone in a cot on the other side of the room.Anyways long story short, the drs say its dangerous co sleeping but there is a thing you can buy that you put in the bed with you.It is available at Target for about $60.Its like a rectangular bed with mesh sides and padding to stop bub slipping around but it just goes in the bed with you and DH making it so easy and safe to co sleep.Thought you could check it out if interested.?xx

Who is MelBel??? I dont remember her. I love the name of her new son.Connor Jack Edward. My son is Connor,My brother is Jack and my dad was Edward. They are my 3 favourite names!!! She must have read my mind.
Congratulations anyhow Melbel.Enjoy your new bub.xx

BDT: CONGRATULATIONS!!! on the safe arrival of Sophia & Aria! They are gorgeous! And I agree with Murph, poor DH, in about 13 years he won't be able to say a word right for 3 weeks of the month

Melbel: CONGRATULATIONS!!! on the safe arrival of Connor! Hope you are enjoying your babymoon!

Smithy: Once again I take my hat off to you! After everything you've been through to still emerge this smiling, happy, kind caring person is amazing! And I agree 100% with you, these old blokes we've snagged ourselves have made all the difference! They've been there and made their mistakes and learned from them and are ready to be the best husbands and fathers they can be. People give us heaps but I tell you, I wouldn't have it any other way! DH's ex is still dumbfounded at our relationship, she tried to tame him for 28 years and it took me oh about 6 months

    and to everyone else!

Having technical difficulties last couple of days. My computer blew up and I have the laptop but the only way I can access the internet is if the laptop is plugged directly into the modem which means sitting on the floor in the corner of the back bedroom.. not very comfy! Am waiting til there's NOT a 45min+ queue on the phone for tech support so I can get the wireless fixed! When all that's done I'll update the EDD List!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

    Congrats Melbel Welcome baby Connor.
    Congrats BDT you made it

Ok this is going to be a bit of a zzzz post. Thank you for all your congrats.
Well we made it one week home.
Little bub is adorable I could just look at him all day.
Sorry been MIA but lack of sleep, washing and baby watching have been the order of the day.
Bubs is finally putting on weight and is now BF fully no more formula (fingers crossed) he is sleepy so I have to unwrap, cold flannel burp to get through a feed but he then sleeps for a few hours (3-4 horuly feeds) which is a good sign.
We exchanged our bassinett for one that has wheels so we can rock him, which seams to settle him right away
Hope everyone's pg is going well, will keep popping in to see the anouncements.
