Hi all feeling scared. Just got my hcg results for this week and they are 46382 up from 13570 last week. The comment on the pathology report is "lower than expected for a continuing pregnancy". Spoke to my dr and he doesn't seem as concerned. Said as long as they're still rising it might be ok. .. Not a good sign though. :^( have scan on Monday so guess I'll find out what's going on then.
Had scan this morning and saw a lovely little heartbeat flickering away on the screen :^). So relieved. Still early days (7 wks) but dr said looking pretty good at moment.
I'm becoming uncomfortable & wish I had a bath big enough to fit all of me in at once instead of feeling like a beached whale lol. Had another quick scan last week to check bubs size as Ob felt she was too big but she's perfect & definitely a girl so now I've decided that my care givers can relax a bit & let me enjoy the next 11 weeks. I'm ok, baby's ok, everything is good & under control
Good news desailly! I am still feeling pretty horrid - but the type of horrid fluctuates each day.... If that makes any sense!!
My anxiety fluctuates too - I finally told my mum on the weekend, and even though I was worried she would spoil it, by being all antsy re who I had told and when, she was really good and she cried. It was lovely and I wish I had told my hubby to video record it while it happened I have my next scan on Thursday this week, I will be 9 weeks 2 days. Am looking forward to it and anxious all at the same time!!!

I was hoping to quietly sneak in here, as I'm still very tentative and nervous about even admitting I am pregnant however my very regular period is 4 days late now and I'm waiting until tomorrow to test...DH and I lost our daughter at full term around 8 months ago, and for the next pregnancy, I'm going to be very quiet with no announcements etc.
It's been a tough year for us, and this could be a ray of hope and sunshine that just may pull us through to 2014! Crossing fingers xxx
Hello summery hopefully tomorrow will be the bfp you are hoping for. Sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter, I cannot imagine how nerve wrecking it must be to be pregnant again after losing a child when you're meant to be in the 'safe' zone.
Thanks Tick Toc! Yes, sadly there will be no rest or "safe zone" for us, until there is a screaming baby in our arms. To be honest, the first trimester is going to be the easiest of all for us anxiety wise, which is probably quite different to some of you lovely ladies. The journey ahead is daunting, but also exciting. It's in fates hands, as there is no medical or physical reason we should expect a bad outcome twice. This doesn't help with the fear sadly

this saturday will be the anniversary of my first bfp whichsoon after became mc I have been thinking about my angel quite a bit this week, I dont think the fear ever goes, even now I am full term just waiting. .....
Hugs kbudgie - it's a haunting feeling. I hope when your LO makes their entrance it helps to ease some of your pain.
My 1st m/c was picked up at 12.5wks, on 12th feb many years ago & for a long time after I would often get very emotional around that time & sometimes not even be aware of "why" until all of a sudden it would click. My 2nd m/c doesn't have that effect, I was more detached that time. And I think because we got pregnant so soon after my 3rd that it will have even less of an impact in the long run. Not that that child was any less loved or wanted.
The funny thing is that this LO is due 12th Feb - I wonder if that has contributed to my stress & anxiety or if my stress levels were bound to be high just as a natural result of 3 m/c & one healthy child born?

Next week on 10th Dec will be the due date of the bub I lost to MMC in June this year. My DH and I found at we had miscarried at scan at 12.5 weeks, followed by a D&C as things weren't progressing naturally. We fell pregnant very quickly again 2 months after the D&C, and got our BFP on fathers day.
I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant (on wednesday) and have been on such tender hooks the whole time, anxious for every scan to make sure that things are ok.
I often have a quite teary moment when I think of our first bub and am not sure whether next week will come and go without too much thought, or if it will be a bit emotional.
Kbudgie, I hope your babies arrival will calm some of your fears, I'm hoping that this little bub will help do that for me.
Good luck for next week shanleem, I think what ever happens next week you should be prepared for the unexpected & just roll with it. It's hard & any reaction you do or don't have will be natural because no one can tell you how to feel or act xoxo
Welcome summery I hope this one works out for you. Must have been very traumatic to lose your little one full term and I know that experience will never leave you. I've lost more than my share but never late stage like that.
Those anniversaries of losses always stay with you don't they. The first one I lost was due on my brother's birthday so I think I'll remember it every year forever.
I'm wondering if I'll reach a stage in this pregnancy that I'll relax and just enjoy being pregnant. I'm only 8 wks so that's still a long way off if it does happen. Though Kbudgie if you're still anxious at nearly term I don't think my chances of relaxing are very good !
