Alish my body pill sucks also. DD plays horsies riding it now. It was such a waste of money. I use a C shaped pill and another ordinary pill for between my legs now. But I still can't get comfortable.

Ferrals woohoo on been officially term today! And 9 days to go.

Melster hope the tooth isn't giving you to much grief.

Well I had 3 painful BHs last night which woke me up. Its been 1 week now these things are going on. I don't know whats going on but obviously its not going to make me go into labour after all this time. Bubs head also doesn't feel as low as it did a week ago but its still in a good position (except posterior which I'm not worried about yet) if she remains posterior I think I will so have an epidural. I don't want to go through labour and birth again going back to front. It was so much harder then anterior. I thought I had some water leak yesterday but it turned out to be only excess cm TMI sorry ladies. So its back to getting ready for bubs. I've got a load of blankets and wraps in today but DH only has a short day at work so I have to get them in the fryer quickly and packed away before he comes home.

Well thinking of you all and hope you have a brilliant day.

Ferrals are you all ready now just waiting for Ella's arrival?

And do you plan on frying your bubs blankets lol or drying them he he i cant believe you have been so strong to withhold the sex from him do you think he has a preference to a boy or a girl?

And i am more than ready packed bags by the door cradle all made up change table stocked and car seat in now just the baby.

Thank you Ferrals your the first person that has made me laugh in the last few days. Yes I do plan on drying the blankets not frying them. DH wants a boy. He has always wanted a son. Thats why I really wanted him to find out as I'm worried he will be a little disappointed when little Miss comes out. Although at the same time been a LTTTCer I think he does have a higher then average appreciation for a healthy baby regardless of the gender after the time it took to get here and our losses. Initially we did try gender swaying with timing BD but after a few months and our first m/c it became about getting pregnant. I've never had any desire to have any gender other then a baby so its no big deal for me but I think DH might suffer from gender disappointment I know he did briefly with DD but he said it only lasted a minute so I'm hoping its the same this time. He thinks bub is a girl although I guess he is hoping its a boy. Maybe its his way of preparing himself. Any I'm hoping it means he will let me have another he is still in 2 minds about trying again. Its the trying thats the problem.

If he wants a boy he will go again for one more try.
My DH really wanted a boy to but he always said it would be better to have a girl for his DD from his 1st marriage as she is an only child and the youngest out of all our kids it would be great to have my 3 boys and then the 2 girls and when we lost Abbi we saw how heartbroken his DD was and my mum so i was secretly hoping to have another girl but after everything DH and i went through we just want a baby that didnt have SLO and i was convinced we were having a boy so when the u/s tech said i am 99% sure its a girl we just burst into tears it was like Abbi had sent us her little sister.
Your DH will fall in love with her the moment he lays his eyes on her.

Still pg. lol. I'm having plenty of twinges but nothing labourish yet.

Right now I'm at the stupid hospital for my appointment. Which they managed to F up. They made 2, which is fine, but sent me to the wrong dept firstand acted like I should have known better. Wtf? So I've wasted an hour waiting for the wrong appt, and now am waiting for the 2nd appt. Then I have to go BACK to the 1st appt and wait all over again. What sucks is the fact I could have saved an hour of my time, not to mention paying for the extra parking which I didnt need!!

oh and poor DP got a 300 fine for answering his phone while working. He's a driver. And thought it was me calling. The cops didnt care tho that im pg and almost due, not one bit.

    ARRRRGGHHHH.

Sorry for the rant but it sure helped pass some time. Will be back for persies tomorrow. Belly rubs to all!!!

    Morning,

I know about the whole gender thing, hubby has one boy and the rest are all girls...he is defiantly a girl maker thats for sure..lol........and this one is a girl....( i dont mind either way but i do like girls) and he still wants another one....pfffffttttttt......i think he wants a netball team to be honest...although i dont think its just to have a boy..and his likely hood of having a boy is slim...think he gets slightly dissapointed but doesnt show it..it doesnt take him long to be excited about his little girls...if we did try i would defiantly try the boy method no matter how long it took....but at the moment i think we defiantly have enough kids especially with the way the ex is...

    How you going forsbelby?

ATM......man my teeth are aching..its actually becoming quiet unbearable...my jaw and teeth are aching all the time..im wondering if maybe its stress or an actual tooth.....and boy are my boobs getting massive....size F!!!!! arrgghhhhhhh they look so big its quiet embarrasing

Well, I have yet another update. The hospital called me back today asking me to come in for my u/s. (kinda short notice, but ok!) I ended up going to a hospital closer to home rather than GCH which was nice as after yesterday I wasn't keen to go back.

Anyway long story short (from what the sonographers told me, they were fairly tight lipped as usual) bubby is looking good, weighing about 8 and a half pounds, and I don't need to worry. One of the ladies asked me when I'll be seeing the hospital/gp again and I said Tuesday. She smiled and said, unless things start happening sooner! Everyone has been saying that to me so I hope that's the case.

I also got a lovely picture of bub in profile, looking SO grown up compared to last scan at 26 weeks. I'm still not sure how I feel about induction, but at the same time...... am starting to warm to the idea of having DP at home with me next week in the lead up to the birth, and not having to stress out about him trying to come home and ditch a fully loaded truck back at work....... the logistics are a nightmare.

Best case I am hoping to go into labour between Saturday afternoon and Tuesday night all by myself. Hehe Oh, and a little sidenote.... TMI WARNING.... I cannot stay away from the toilet today. I've never number 2'ed 3 times in one day. But I think I might today! FX this is the beginning of something. Tomorrow my sister is taking me to do laps at the shopping centre and to eat spicy foods at the same time lol.

Oooh Forshelby! So glad you had a nice scan and especially that it was somewhere other than GCH! Awesome that bub is happy and my fingers are crossed that things happen naturally VERY soon! Ive heard that constant No.2's mean your body is naturally cleaning things out and getting ready for labour - oooh i hope so!!!! Enjoy your spicey foods too! NOw that is gunna make you poo even more! lol!

Ferrals: Hope you are resting comfortably. Excited for you BA. Nice to meet you DH!
Forshelby: Hmmm! Hope baby comes by itself and makes the decision easy for you.
Iona: You've been fairly quiet... I had not realised you are so close to your due date yourself! Any day now for you too!
Alish: Are you uncomfortable from your belly or just can't get comfy in general? I sleep badly early in pg but that seems to be hormonal (I wake lots and dream more). My tummy is still pretty small so i don't think that's the reason for me at this stage (it will be later).
Kell: naughty DS! Let mummy have a breather. Scootch down a little!
Melster: Oh i hope your teeth feel better soon. Sounds like you might need a check up.
Mildez: You are amazing. I'm sure i'd slip up if i knew the gender of my baby!
T-hopes: You are due around the same time as a good friend of mine. I'll be counting down for both of you (about 10wks and a little bit ahead of me).

AFM: Telling more people about the baby but i haven't announced it far and wide at work. I'm sort of waiting til people notice. Not sure why. Depending on what i'm wearing it's not always obvious which i'm surprised about. i thought it would be impossible to hide by now. Have felt a few sensations this week that have made me stop and think: now is that my tummy or could that be... someone else?! I felt my DD by 16wks so i'm hoping this little one is starting to pack some punch.
