A pregnant woman may have a normal blood pressure as low as 90/50 or as high as 135/80, with an average of about 110/70. The pressure itself is not as much of an issue as how much it rises over the course of the pregnancy.

Ok thankyou, I was feeling dizzy etc and my BP was 80/50
It would depend on what your normal BP is (during pregnancy, as it is usually higher than when not preg) So if say you usually have 110/60 and then the next appt have 90/50 or whatever then i would class that as a low reading. A bit different with high BP because they really need to monitor it over a course of days/weeks. A one off high usually means nothing and that you've just done too much that day or something.
Ok thanks Tegan!
A BP of 80/50 would generally make most people feel quite off and dizzy. Be careful when getting up from a lying position or standing up too quickly. This can cause your BP to drop quickly resulting in passing out.
