The whole second trimester i was like "where is this supposed boost in energy?' i have been so exhausted not sleeping well, have a 3 y/o VERY active DS working part time and feel like i sit for 5 min and have to get up and do something else.
I found that no amount of rest seemed to help, the only thing i can suggest is a nice relaxing shower or bath right before bed and try and get a solid sleep. eat well and often throughout the day, drink OJ with your iron tabs as it helps absorb the iron more quickly.
I had one good night sleep last night (my first since bout 22 weeks) felt great when i woke up but it lasted til lunch then i felt even worse after that.
My intention is to finish up work a week before i'm due, i know silly me but i hate sitting at home as i do more work here then at work.
Think you can take maternity leave 6 weeks before you EDD. or longer with a medical cert.
