Hey first time mummy

My experience with an epidural was no problem at all, I'm not a huge fan of needles either but - in my opinion - it was the easiest part of my labour.

I didn't specify for an epidural in the first instance, and unfortunately for me the anesthetist had quite a backlog of patients that day. I waited for about 4-5 hours, but that's probably a rare occurrence.

If you aren't too sure you can always go in with an open mind, and if on the day you feel you want an epidural I'm sure you will get it. Good luck to you and bubs - how exciting!
