I went into the labour/birth not wanting an epidural... I was scared of all the horror stories ect. But to be honest it's like most things, you hardly hear of the good ones and only hear the bad ones.

I had the epi and loved it, due to Brendan being pre-term I wasn't able to hold him or try BF or anything he was taken away immediately. I slept off my epi.... have no idea how long it would have taken to wear off because I slept for hours and hours LOL.

I didn't feel the needle, the contraction pain was far worse than the needle... the only 'issue' I had was trying to keep still LOL.
