    Nausea

Anyone else getting nausea in their third trimester? I am 28 weeks and it's only come on the last few days sometimes first thing in the morning or throughout the day. I get a bit weak too and lethargic.

Yes, my nausea def. came back at the end.

It does help when the baby moves down or engages, as there is less pressure on your stomach, so less nausea & heartburn - but then you need to go to the toilet all the time because of the pressure on your bladder

Got to love pregnancy - can't win either way!

my ob said around about 30 weeks there is a big surge in oestrogen, which causes nausea, so its common to have nausea in the 3rd trimester. im nearly 33 weeks and feeling a bit queasy on and off.

    Hey Bindy,

i get it in the morning when i have an empty stomach, but after i eat it goes away! I had that in first trimester too.! weak and lethargic.... sounds like me too! i describe it as feeling a bit "flat" I've discovered that extra water and some sugar helps get me back on track!

I had shocking morning sickness for 16 weeks with both my pregnancies.

But I never had any nausea with my first pregnancy in the 3rd trimester.
So I was a bit surprised when I started dry reaching about a month ago. (around 28 weeks).
In the first trimester I could barely put the toothbrush in my mouth.... but with the 3rd trimester I found that I could brush my teeth, but want to chuck up when I did the "spit out".

seems to have settled a bit for me now.

I had never heard of nausea in the third trimester, so thanks for posting - because I thought I was a bit of a freak.

If you have headaches, see little specks in your vision (blood pressure causes that) pain on your diaphragm (like you have a wind that does not want to come out), or your feet and hands are abnormally swolen ALONG with the nausea - I would consult a dr. Just to be safe

I was sick 24 hours a day the entire way through my pregnancy with DD - including through labour. Not nice.

I had major nausea at about 32 weeks with both of my pregnancies. It lasted a week or two then disappeared thank goodness.
Not a nice reminder of first trimester let me tell you!
Hope you're feeling better soon, I'm sure it will pass.

I have started to get this too, a couple of mornings/ evenings a week I have been sick for the last couple of weeks and it kinda just comes on at random. Just another fun side of pregnancy.
