They're more concerned that it is IUGR this time because her head is measuring as it should, it's her body that's measuring smaller and they mentioned that when baby isn't getting all they need, vital organs (brain and heart) are fed and the rest get the left over amounts ITMS?
Yes, a friend of mine has just had the same thing, her little boy's abdomen measurement was not growing at the same rate as the other measurements and she said the same thing, the brain and heart get priority and the tummy doesn't get as much and stay smaller. She had her bubs at 36 weeks and he,s been breastfeeding like a champ ever since.
