Hm bumps I wouldnt call my rash bumps! It wasnt actually noticable till I started scartching at it so feircley now it's red. But there isnt any bumps but it does feel like sand paper! Now I have no idea!

I had GD with the last 3 of ur children so it wont surprise me in the least. And the amount I am drinking and the headaches makes me think for sure I have it!

Whenever i have been pg i have always had the GD test automatically "ordered" for me. dr just handed me a slip and told me to go get it done. I would've thought they'd be watching you more carefully if you've had it 3x already...

And remember, the m/w was only guessing what it might be. did you tell her your daughter thought you were going yellow?? push for al the tests tomorrow, dont let them push you aside... can you really put up with this for up to another 13w??

My GD referal has always just been ordered too but I haevnt booked into the hospital yet thats why it hasnt been done yet! And my gp isnt worth a bar of soap and she just ignores everything I ask her so I gave her the flick.

Hon they have no idea what they are in for when my DH and I go in there tomorow!

I haven't even booked in yet for godsake and that is there figgen fault too saying they were just soooooooooooooo booked out! I am writing a list of "everythin" that needs to be looked at for them. Oh its no bid deal to them for having negligence, just read how we lost our babe remember~! With my furth child I was soo puffy that even my lips were massive and they still ddint give a toss and didnt monitor me, they did with Ashlen my last little man. I am goiong to givwe them hell if hey do not listen to me, and my dh is going to have a go at them for how long its taken just to have a bloody booking in appointment too.

I cant shake off my gut feeling though about this being a liver problem, its just my feeling that it is. I may get a really thorough midwife yet so fingers crossed for me!

Soon as I get home I swear to you I will come on and let you know everyhtng that happend in the visit ok. You have been a darling to me!

So far mu list is -

Rash and what symptoms I am feeling
    Severe pain when walking
Headaches and not being able to quench thirst
    Barley peeing at all

Cant think of anymore right now!

    Yeah,
You go Soul-you tell em. As you and i both know our little intuition isnt often wrong. I really hope its as simple as that skin thing not the cholestasis. As for the gd;well thats a given wth the history bit fingers crossed you don't need insulin. What are you doing with your tribe while your tied up at the hospital?
Hope you get some positive feedback and some skilled staff.
Wishing you all the best for today(well its' after 1am).

simone well in 3 and ahalf hours I will know whats going on well maybe not exactly but will be at ease with having professinals looking at me. I am actually really nervous now, really feeling scared.

Pauline With the kids either I will leave them with hubbie or my 16 and 14 year old will watch the 10 year old and 7 year old and we will take the 3 year old! I am so scared about going becuase they will say why haven't you had this and that done and rouse at me, but its not my fault that the gp's are ding bats! If they start on me I will say well thats the reason I tried to book in early to get proper care but since the wait was so long here I am now ready to be looked after propely I do hope!

    Hey Soul,
Have you had your appointment yet? if not what time?
They have absolutely NO NO NO right to dare condemn YOU for not getting the needed care. That is their job-THE MEDICAL PROFFESSIONALS-who havent had the time due to the lack of goevernment funding and resources. Nice try on their part but that can hardly be your fault. Anyway if you have had all your babies at the same hospital then they KNOW the history,so it should have been a matter of importance the very minute that you called them. What DILLS.....
God i wish i could be there to give them what for!!!!
They have failed to do their job properly. Exactly what were you meant to do when they said they were too booked to see you? Camp out on the doorstep with your tribe.
I really hate hospitals. You are totally at their disposal.
My mum took ill last night post operatively and they did a barrage of tests xrays bloods, but you wait for hours. Fingers crossed i can bring her home today. I have spent so much time dealing with every single specialist or imbecile in the hospital system lately;I'm so over it. We've been to 4 different major hospitals all for different specialists or surgeries.. Well at least if i ever get pregnant again its going to make me a very savvy patient when i have to go in myself....lol. this whole experience with mum has gotta be good for something.

Hi my sweetie, oh I hope mum is feeling better, is she? Poor love, no matter how much they give us the craps, there is something different about them as they age dont you think! I wish my mum and I were talking but its her choice not to and I have to respect that. Your mum is lucky to have you sweetness.

its at 2.30 this arvo I am so scared hon. And DH has to stay with kids cause 16 year old cant babysit. I will take note in my head what you said and when I am sititng there facing whoever it will be, I will tune in on what you said to me and gain my strength from it.

My guess is they will take me into a room book me in then send me ut inthe waiting room till my name is called to see a midwide to actually have my first antenatl visit and check Pheen out and all. Then they will tell me to come back inthe morning for the gluclose test and blood test f0r the rash. Because the outpatients part closes at 4.30 so I just know the blood test will be done tomorrow morning early. I am going to be there for hours. I just want to know what positiion Pheen is in its driving me batty not knowing where he is at. I can barley walk today omg the pain. I will be waddling in and everyone will be thinking whata drama queen.

    Dear Soul,
I reckon anybody that can carry a baby in this heat deserves a medal. It would not be easy!! So if they think you're a drama queenthen they need to get a life!!!!
Just remeber this love(you probably already know)just meditate for a minute and shroud yourself in pure crystal white light,it'll protect you from everyone elses STUPID judgements. It'll just bounce off you..
You onto those bach flowers yet, girl? You have to keep your stress levels down. Remeber Calm and relaxed , calm and relaxed.
Feeling very tired today called an ambulance last night, been at the hopital all night again;this time with my Bridget. Got home at 2am. Seems her Gilberts Syndrome(liver trouble)has flared up again. Which results in chronic abdo pain and constipation vomitting and shaking and high temps. So last night they gave her painstop and nurofen and coloxyl and lactulose and all we got was a little less pain and a mini poo. So off to the pharmacy now to hit the heavy duty stuff(parachoc). They said to keep her close all weekend incase she keeps vomitting and the parachoc hits her quick.Apparently the vomitting is because her little tum tum is so full of poos that the tum has no room for food so just bounces it back up.Interesting.
Mum is a lot better today, she is feeling a lot stronger. And happier.
I hope you going back to the hossy today went well and that they didnt have to make a pincushion out of you. That they got the blood first go. I really hope that you get those answers soon;it could be as early as Monday.Just think though you might meet little Phoenix in as little as 5 weeks and then all your symptoms will be gone... What a delight
Anyway sweetheart please let me know how you got on you are in my thoughts.
Sending you lots of love and light.

Omg poor little Bridget. That would have to be such a cruel thing for a little kid to have to endure. Oh please send her a big love from Jay! Is there no cure for this? How often does it happen? Was she born with it? Ok I will stop all the questions now.

Our little Bridge is a chronic asthmatic and has been in and out og the hospital at least twice or more a year. Two years ago was put in icu and nearly died, the most terrifying day of our lives.

I am off to see a new gp a friend told me about apparently he is very down to earth so i will go see him sunday.

You know its funny you emntion surrounding myself in a beautiful white light, or golden, and I did this and when I walked in it was near empty would you believe. Its usually packed choka block. The hassle I had getting there. All morning my gut feeling kept saying I had the time wrong and to ring and check well at 15 minutes to 1.00 I decide to ring and the lady says yes your down for 1.30 "WTF" I thought it was 2.30 and I havent a car!!!!!!! So I ranga taxi and ffor the first time in history we couldnt get through so I rang the hossiy back c rying I was so stressed out cause I thought if I miss this appointment they may make me wait till the little fella is born! Anyway the lady said well if you cant get here by that time then we will have to cancle becuase there are many others to be fitted in. So I get off the phone and try the taxi number again cursing my head off. Anyway finally a cab comes and I wa only 10 minurtes late. But then no one was even on the room except me and omse older people. And they still made me wait till 2.15 anyways. Cows!~

Anyway if you want to know how the appointment went click on this, way to long to tell you but just know it got worse!

    Ohhh Soul,
I just read the thread on your visit at the hossy. What an ordeal. At least the white light was good for something.
I would definately be trying to change hospitals or c if you can find an ob who will bulk bill. I believe if you are on a pension or health care card a lot of them will.
What the hospital and your previous gp have put you through are bordering on negligence.. Are you being assertive enough? Are they getting, how bad you are feeling.
You sure as hell are not being a hypocondriac;this is REAL!And after already having children you sHOULD know.It is so beyond me why they seem so inept. Are they trying to cut costs,by not doing tests.?I am so irate. Are you in the ambulance fund?Cause you could call them if you are feeling really unwell and get them to take you to a different hospital.I'm really worried about you and Phoenix.

    As for bridgie,
She was really asymptomatic until 4 then we started the tests because she'd would get these horrendous pains in her tum.
This condition is hereditary(i have it);usually she cruises through but it can flare up with too much stress or a cold/infection(or rubbish food at the exinlaws).Which was the culprit this time. They called me yesterday at 3 because she was crying and vomitting;after the coloxyl and the paracetamol didnt work;i was worried then when she stated shaking and vomiting i was ready to take her to the hospital, but she got progressively worse so i called the ambos.
She isnt going to her dads this weekend because she isnt well enough. Which i must admit I'm happy about. she has had nurofen and panadol now and her pain has diminished but she took the parachoc and still nothing. Her little bwel is very stubborn-just like her!!Ok and her mother...lol
So its all controllled by diet and regular laxative if required;then every few months we'll end up with a bout like this(usually while she isnt in my care)-because mum isnt there to say Bridgie you shouldnt have maccas or kfc because you'll get a belly ache(cause of the fat) and she'll have it for brekky and t , and then say "Mummy you were right". Then I'm like "Gee, REally?"
