    Heya!
Well i called my MW last night, and she baisically said it was all in my head and im worrying about nothing. She wasnt any help..she seemed in a rush and like she wanted me off the phone really quick. Hrm
I then read in my file and it had a msg in a box saying "Call your MW immediately if you experience any of these.." and it had swelling of the face, abnormal abdominal pain, and there were a few of the other things..and all i could think was "Well i did that and nothing came from it."
So heres hoping nothing goes wrong then huh..

    Hi Hun,
    about
I would definitely not accept that crappy level of care! It may be nothing but PE is a very common thing (about 10% of women get it) and you have several of the symptoms. If it's unmonitored it can have some bad effects. That is not good enough I would call back and complain and then if you still don't get asked to come in I would ask them to do some tests and if they still don't do anything I would go in in person. It is important that you get checked out! I'm very passionate about this sorry for the rant I had issues with my hospital too long story but don't accept that they are right because they're not always. If they don't help I would also make it clear what your file says definitely complain about that other lady though if she doies that to someone else it could really have adverse effects!

Don't let them make you feel stupid keep going until you get some tests for you and your baby! It is a hospitals job to take care of pregnant mums and when PE is so common you really need to be tested!!!

    Hi Meg
As I said before this could be nothing but it does need to be checked. If your midwife will not do anything then go to the hospital/doctor. Also I think that if that is the attitude of your midwife then it's time for a new one.
