Actually I think I mentioned it last time but the Huggies book cub is good for online ordering as memebers get a discount and there is free postage! Off to check their Christmas selection!

Tan, thanks for reminding me about the huggies book club. I just found The Art Book For Children on it. I've been looking for such a book for months

Elephant Elements - Francisco Pittau/Bernadette Gervais (not a story, it's a hilarious opposites book).
Help, I'm falling apart! - Tedd Arnold
We're going on a bear hunt. - no idea.

Though, we're not really up to stories yet, River just likes the texture books where he can turn pages and feel things.

I loved The Jolly Postman as a kid. Loved it.

I bought a picture book version of The Man From Snowy River today. It was one of my all time favourite poems as a child.

Ooh cool Dach!! That sounds great!! I love the way that the search engine preempts you too and lists all matching books!

Nelle - Izzy has been read picture story books every day since birth! She loves listening to DH read to her and holds his face while they lie on the floor! I guess as they get older they start getting more restless though, and its hard to hold their interest. She actually tore the page of Fancy That trying to grab the chook the other night- so board books are the way to go soon I think!!

The Guess How much I love you seasons set is only $19.95 at KMart too - and is $24.95 on the Huggies site so some things aren't cheaper - good to check.

I got Izzy a book called Room for a Little One for Christmas by Martin Waddell- its just so beautifully illustrated and is a lovely nativity story! Cant wait to read it to her on Christmas Eve and every Christmas Eve to come! Have been looking for a special Chrissy book that isn't about Santa or pressies. Got this one at Kmart!
