What is it about? it's the second book in the millenium series (first was 'the girl with the dragon tattoo') and is about a girl/woman who comes under suspicion of murder.
Are you enjoying it? i'm not very far into it yet but i am enjoying it. i found the first book hard to get into - lots of different characters, different writing style (well, i hadn't read any of his books before) but i think i'm on his wavelength this time so it's much faster to get into this book. he also doesn't have to spend quite as much time introducing the main characters.

I'm just in the first chapters of this too. I loved the first one and like you said, there were so many characters to keep up with especially if I didn't get to read every night I had to try and jog the old memory. I'm just up to a really good part and can't wait to get into it tonight.

What is it about? Anna is a married woman back in the whatever hundreds (horse and cart day) in Russia, she has an affiar with someone in the military, so it is about their story. It also interwines with other people such as Levin who is a farmer who is in love with Kitty, but she rejects his proposal early in the story as she is hoping that Volonsky (who Anna has the affair with later) proposes, but he doesn't. Also has the odd story crop up about Anna's brother Stephan.
Are you enjoying it? can take it or leave it. But being an 800 + book I borrowed from the library I am trying to read 50 pages a night to get it read.
Reading it cause it is on the FaceBook 100 book list challenge and I want to read as many as I can from the book list this year as I hadn't read very many of them.

What is it about? Set in Jackson, Mississippi, 1962. It follows the story of 3 women, 2 black maids and a white woman.
Are you enjoying it? I am enjoying it. It's interesting and entertaining. I'm pretty picky on the types of books I choose to read, so it's hard to find a book that I think I might enjoy.
I'm reading it because it's on a few bestseller lists and the storyline seemed really interesting. Plus the reviews online talked me into it.

What is it about? A non-fiction book, helps learn the insight into the "why" of meditation and its goals, not so much the "how".
Are you enjoying it? Yes, so far. Concentration levels keep waning, but I am genuinely interested in it.
I'm reading it because (like many others) I am someone who needs to understand something before I can do it. And, since I can't meditate (well, it doesn't seem like that I can in actual "meditation", yet seem to find peace in sweeping), I want to learn more about it.
Yeah, I'm not sure about the sweeping thing myself....
