Muminalice- I read the Tomorrow series, and then the Ellie series when i was a teen. Loved it, loved it, loved it! They can be quite addictive though

I've just started "Knit Two" by Kate Jacobs. It's the sequel to "The Friday Night Knitting Club" which revolved around the goings-on of a wool/knitting store and a lovely bunch of very different women. Was a lovely book and a great story about the power of friendship, and am looking forward to getting into Knit Two.

Sloane- I started reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but only got about 20 pages in before I gave up. I think their names really put me off and I just couldn't get into it. Has been relegated to the bottom of my ginormous 'to read' stack, so will have to attempt it again one day..is it worth the read?

ss - i definitely thought it was worth it. it really did take me ages to get into though - i started reading it & then went on to read something else. one day i had run out of books & took it to the hairdressers with me & was able to read a decent chunk & it got me hooked! sometimes i had to flick back to double check that i knew who they were talking about

Penny Vincenzi books are like that, she fixed it by writing a cast of characters in the front page of her book so you had a quick reference guide! I'm glad you mentioned this book, I've wanted to read it.

Yes yes yes! Girl with dragon tatoo is Definitely worth the read! Once I got into it I loved it!!! Read the whole series quite quickly after that!

AFM - I just finished reading 'Sister' by rosamund lupton

About a girl who's sister goes missing and she doesn't agree with the police investigation. It's written as the sister tells the story to a lawyer over a series of sessions and tells her journey to find her sister.
I bought it out of the 2 for $25 shelf at target on Friday..... Finished it already!!!

Ahhh. What to read now!?! It's hard to find decent bookshops to browse at now too!!! Maybe a library visit is in order......

Ps... Love Harry potter!!! And traci Harding - the ancient future series AND trudi carnarvon - the black magician trilogy

    I love reading!!!
    Great thread!!
