I've just gotten back into reading big time!! I sit there while DD goes to sleep in her cot- its great!! A bit of me time every evening!!!
I have just finished "The Sacred Bones" by Michael Byrnes
Its a fictional story about secrecy within the Catholic Church and the Knights Templar. Its set in modern times though when the Church discovers that Jesus' remains are possibly burried in a secret tomb in Jerusalem. So basically the Catholic church sneak in and steal them to keep it all a secret- causing even more conflict between the Palestinians and Israli's who dont know who stole the stuff or what they stole and they both blame eachother. Basically if the "truth" were to come out it would put a huge spin on things and change alot of people's beleifs about Jesus' death and resurection. And also aparently settle the ongoing debate on whether the Jewish people first held Jerusalem as thir own, as the tomb itself predates the Palestinians being there.
The cool part is that with the modern day technology the church do tests on the bones and it is infact Jesus! Would be very interesting if any of it was based on fact!! But i think it is just a good interesting story!
I really enjoyed it!! I am right into differing views on religion and a good conspiricy theory always gets me!!

I'm actually reading Men are from Mars & Women from Venus, plus 2 other lighter books (oh yeh and an "adult" novel)
I'm enjoying the Mars/Venus book, it is giving me better insight into how males work, I'm able to pass on what I'm finding out to my bestie who is going through relationship issues at the moment which is helping her to better understand her partner.

I am reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett, it 's fantastic, I am loving it.
It's about 3 black maids in the American South and one white woman who wants to write their stories. It's also been or being made into a movie.

i am reading "warm bodies" it is a zombie love story and is FRIKKIN' awesome man! it is the guys first novel (isaac marion) and is just the BEST! it sounds like a s**** but it is actually done with intelligence and integrity to the zombie cause hahahahaha!

it's funny 'cause it's true! he ponders the cruelty in wanting to smile but not being able to (due to lips having been rotted off and all)

i'm onto the girl who kicked the hornet's nest now. i've found it far easier/faster to get into than the previous two in the trilogy. i think it's because this story is a continuation from the 2nd book, whereas the 2nd started a new storyline from the 1st (i hope that makes sense!).
i also finished an alex gray book recently. i think it was called five ways to kill a man (or something like that!). it wasn't bad - fairly standard crime novel but i enjoyed it (if that's the right term for a book about murders!)

Finally finished the Twilight saga again, and yep, Breaking Dawn annoyed me again. Moving on!

What is it about? A family who inherit a large mansion style house in Castlemaine, come from the UK to turn it into an 1860's style themed home where the children are used to show tourists the history of their family. (It's fiction)
Are you enjoying it? Not yet, which is very unusual for me and her books. I usually love them, so I'll keep persisting. But I really hope it gets better soon!

I have been trying to get into Breaking Dawn for the last few months. I couldn't put down the first three books, but I am really struggling to get through this one. I keep hoping it will get better, or maybe it is the storyline that is frustrating me. I need to have it read by the time the first movie comes out at the end of the year!
