What are you reading? The Stockman

    Who wrote it? Rachael Treasure

What is it about? Rosie Highgrove-Jones grows up hating her double-barrelled name. She dreams of riding out over the wide plains of the family property, working on the land. Instead she's stuck writing the social pages of the local paper.
Then a terrible tragedy sparks a series of shocking revelations for Rosie and her family. As she tries to put her life back together, Rosie throws herself into researching the haunting true story of a 19th century Irish stockman who came to Australia and risked his all for a tiny pup and a wild dream. Is it just coincidence when Rosie meets a sexy Irish stockman of her own? And will Jim help her realise her deepest ambitions – or will he break her heart?

Are you enjoying it? Absolutly! I'm a bit of a country bum

Well I finally committed to reading a WHOLE Harry Potter book (Prisoner of Azkaban) and thoroughly enjoyed it, i must say. Am looking forward to the next one but in the mean time I'm reading a whole slug of non-fiction all at once. Sorry not much of a recommendation, is it?

How did you find At Home With The Templetons? I'm really struggling.

Samcougar - I've read one of Rachel Treasure's before too, think it was The Rouseabout. I liked the story but the main character drove me bananas! There's a bit of country bum in me too

It took a chapter or two to get into it and then I was hooked. It's worth it

My MIL gave me the latest James Patterson book 'Tenth Anniversary" for Easter. It is the next one from the Women's Murder Club. So far it is an easy read and I do enjoy this series, so hopefully I will get some time to read it.
