every day, though we rarley have the meat and x number of veg.
Usually it's stirfries, laksas, curries, casseroles, pasta sauces, etc.
Also lots of vege soup like BG, toasties with tomato etc for lunch, veges on rivitas etc.
    Frittatas, omlettes.

I'm trying to lose weight so yes it's veggies every night!!! I also have a rule that I must have fruit or veg with every meal or snack.

A third of what's on your dinner plate should be veggies...another third whatever starchy food (potato, corn, sweet potato, rice, couscous, bread or pasta) and only a third (or less) of protein.

If you're trying to lose weight then it should be half of your plate covered in veggies, and a quarter and quarter of carb and protein.

Our family has veggies every night except once a fortnight we have a take away treat, like chinese, well that includes veggies, but the kids like pizza or red rooster, and they snack on fruit at least two pieces per day,my kids never complain it`s what they have been brought up on.

kaz we eat them most nihgts as well, only exceptions is if it takeaway or spag bol etc...
sophie also LOVES fruit and veg, she's eat probably 4 fruit and 6 veg a day! i also struggle to get meat into her!! she doesnt really like brussel sprouts though and i dont blame her!!
she loves peas and mushrooms the most!

reason i asked this question is if we dont have vegies one night i feel soooo guilty!! was wondering how others felt about vegies!

I'm an ex vegan, and we eat veges multiple times a day. Arvo snacks are generally carrot sticks or capsicum sticks and chick pea/sweet potato dips....

Its one of my paranoias, that my girls don't get enough veges. We make vege muffins once a week for morning teas with our fruit and we have veges in every dinner... I can't think of dinners we eat that don't have veges. Even our meat balls have veges in them & our sauces have heaps of different veges in every one.

We eat Veggies every night... and salad in the summer

DH is one of those people that can eat and eat rubbish and put on no weight (and still has perfect cholesterol)... You wouldnt believe what he can live on, its scary
So we have at least 3 veggies with every evening meal and i try and hide them in other things, so even though he thinks that there is only zucchini carrot and broccoli (for example) on his plate there is very often another 1 or 2 veggies in the meal that he is unaware of
Spag bol is the best, i usually have 7-10 veggies hidden in there as it is all pureed before the meat goes in (its amazing what a barmix can hide ).

Usually i dont count potato as a veggie (i know it is, but i count it as the carb, like the rice or the pasta component), so if we have potato there is at least 4 visible on the plate.

I also make banana bread really regularly (no fat or sugar)... Veggie muffins sound good - could you PM me the recipe or put it in here Christy?

Takeaway is the exception, but we normally have a veggie pizza with Salami or Thai and there is always veggies in that too
