Ta, I haven't studied make-up but did a lot of colour theory at uni... and there is a lot that relates. What colour is your hair? that often guides you as to your season. Working out the exact tone of your skin is really important and a lot of the 'high end' make up brands like Clinique will help you find out. My skin is actually very close to neutral (between golden and rose) which means I can 'get away' with a lot. A good clue as to what tone your fair skin is whether you can wear gold or silver jewellry: autumns can wear gold, winters can wear silver. Do you have a preference? Once again, it's not hard-and-fast. I'm going to look for a good site now too!
