Sarah, I agonized for months whether to have my waist long hair chopped off too (you might remember my first avatar had really long hair LOL). I even had nightmares about getting it cut short. However I took the plunge and did it (to just above shoulder). I don't regret it at all. Like some previous posters have suggested; if you wear it in a ponytail then make sure the style you get can be pulled back too. You'll feel great in summer with shorter hair as well. I'm finding that mine is growing back really fast... does yours usually grow fast or slow?
