Joey - I am soooo going to have to see Han**** if you say it is good!

Tutmae - I've never really heard about blood streaked cm around ovulation time, but... I guess if there was a bit of old blood just inside your cervix there is a chance that when your cervix opened during ovulation, that it could come out with your cm... I'm just totally guessing though

You know you're addicted to BB when:

    1. You sign a 2-year contract and pay $60 more per month just to have wireless internet service for a 5 day camping trip!

    2. Your significant other walks in on you checking the position of your cervix, and actually gets turned on from it!

    3. You resort to becoming an adult film industry advocate in order to keep things alive during those fertile times!

    4. You read, post, and then refresh to read again in case you missed a post while posting!

    5. You dream of being the first to post in the new thread!

    6. You feel like you are wasting urine when you don't pee on a stick!

    7. You see abbreviations in everyday life and try to work out what they mean in the TTC world (eg. DVD must stand for something like "Doing the vjay vjay dance"...)

    8. When you get excited about choosing a new ticker....oh the choices!!!!!

    9. You actually think in emoticons and abbreviations...and occasionally call your husband DH....and he says, "what the hell did you call me????".

    10. And the biggest one of all....DH actually asks if it was a light or dark "BFP" (not positive test) and whether or not you used "FMU" to test!!!! (all in abbreviations...)

    11. When getting a coverline makes you so happy, you feel as though you won the lottery!

    12. When you look forward to going to bed just so you can wake up in the morning and add a new temp!

    13. You say you are taking a break from bb and then spend 24 hours trying to do anything but log on, including cleaning, washing, ironing, shopping, all the while saying to yourself don't do it don't do it don't do it before finally breaking down and getting your bb fix...

    14. You drag yourself out of bed at 6 am every morning even though you're still tired, just to have "quiet alone time" on BB while the kids are still sleeping!

    15. You get the butterflies while logging on to read posts!

    16. You keep your computer on all day long so you know as soon as someone has made a post!

    17. You know you are addicted to BB when you go to put the date on something and you end up writing 9 DPO!

    18. You're whole day is ruined just because you can't log onto BB, and you feel like you're going to go insane without it!

    19. You climb a slide and drive up the tallest hills at your camp spot trying to find a signal so your laptop will work!

    20. You bring your laptop to the drive-in with you so you can check on posts in between shows!

    21. You check your chart at least every half hour, because what if somehow it changed?

    22. You wake up at 2:30 in the morning to use the toilet, and contemplate logging on to see if there's any good news that can't wait until morning!

    23. You wake up at 3 a.m. and have to pee so bad, but you know you'll wake up at 6, so you hold it for three more hours so that you don't ruin your temp!

    24. You toss and turn every morning waiting for it to be time to take your temp!

    25. When DH comments that he's your family, not the girls on BB! (What does he know, anyway? lol...)

    26. You sign on from your mobile phone to let off some steam!

    27. You post 3 times in a row, and twice was just because you ran out of smilies!!!

    28. When you're reading and typing posts in your dreams!

    29. When sitting on the couch watching TV, you position yourself so that you can see the computer screen so you know as soon as a message pops up! Not only that, but you end up watching the computer screen more than the TV!

    30. You run to check posts during an ad break of a show you're watching, then an hour later you realize you missed the end of your show!

    31. When new smilies make you smilie!!

    32. When you stop a movie during the sex scene because it reminds you to check BB!

    33. When you burn your dinner because you're too busy checking your posts! D'oh!

HI there everyone, let me know if I shouldn't be in this section.
Iam currently TTCing #2. I am in the middle of losing a pregnancy at the moment, and while it's not a great thing to go through, I am pretty strong about it all. I was prepared for it.
I had 5 faint BFP's up until 15 DPO when AF arrived.

Anyway, I just thought I would pop in, and see if it was alright for me to be here.

    xxoo

Good morning girls! Any of you nana's still awake? It's Sat. morning, you would think I could sleep in just once during the week, but NO, NO BB calls! Here's some for the new thread! And lot's of :goodluck2:

tutmae--Think I've only heard of blood-streaked CM during implantation at the earliest. Maybe like Krystie said, it's just some old blood your body's trying to get rid of.

joey--Glad to hear your enjoyed Han****!

Niadla--Of course you're welcome here! Big I pray your TTC journey is short and sweet, and you're blessed with a BFP very soon! I'm so very sorry to hear of your current loss that you're going through, I wish you continued strength to get through these dark days!

Good morning Krystie! Glad to see you're still awake--it's not very often we're online at the same time! Isn't it strange how different temps can be from month to month? Mine seem a little wimpy lately, or something!

Lol, wimpy temps! Whip 'em into shape!

Oh I just discovered a new one:

You know you're addicted to BB when you stop a movie during the sex scene because it reminds you to check BB!

DH is at work (dj'ing) so I've got the dss's tonight. They are down for the night so I made myself a nice decaf tea (I found the Dilmah ones and they are fairly good!) got some bickies and chucked on a movie

Hey Krystie, I have a quick question... I spent the night on the couch last night--don't worry, DF and I aren't fighting or anything, he just couldn't sleep and kept tossing and turning so that I couldn't sleep, so I just moved to the couch. Anyhow, I slept like crap all night long and feel like I barely slept at all. When I woke up I took my temp and it was 97.21 (yikes!), so I took it again real quick, and it was 97.40, then 97.44 right after that. All three times were before I even got off the couch. Took it one last time after I went to the bathroom, and it was 97.47--so I went ahead and used my second temp reading of 97.40--but I'm confused as to whether that was the right one to use only because looking back on last month, my temp drop before O was on CD9 (which is today), so now I'm wondering if the lower temp would've been more accurate to use at this time? If my second temp had been another real low one, then I would think for sure that it must just be my temp dropping before O--but I just don't know!! What do you think, which temp should I use?

I find that if I take my temp and then take it again straight away I usually get a slightly higher temperature the second time. I wasn't sure why, so I did some tests with my thermometer I think what was happening was that when I popped it straight in my mouth the coldness of the actual thermometer was cooling the part of my mouth where the thermometer was sitting and lowering the temp reading. But if I got it to read it again straight away my mouth had probably warmed up to normal temperature again and it read a bit higher and what I assume was a bit more accurately. Sooooo, what I do now is put the thermometer in one side of my mouth for a few seconds to warm up the tip of the thermometer, and then I take my actual temperature from the other side of my mouth that hasn't been effected by my thermometer (I always take the actual reading from the same side though). Does what I've written even make sense or have I totally confused you?

In conclusion (LOL) I think I would probably use the 2nd temperature you took. It probably won't make a huge difference to your overall chart. Oh, and I think in FF you can tell it that you were restless or had broken sleep etc...

    Hi Ladies!

It is a bit quiet here this weekend - must be due to the log in troubles you were talking about jen...

I think it's only about 4 or 5 days since I posted in here but that equals about 10-12 pages of posts so I'm not even going to attempt proper persies! I did want to say and hello to the new ladies - I am sorry to hear of your journey but as others have said, this is the absolute most welcoming place. You will find so much support here.

Have been giggling at the antics of joey though - school holidays are great when you are a teacher but then there is SO much time you have up your sleeve!! Keep it up please - especially with such golden humour gems as "ewcm that went from floor to ceiling"!!!!

Krystielove and jen - thanks also forkeeping the midnight oil burning. I love having heaps of posts to read when I log in first thing in the morning! You girls are pretty nutty too

WTH - how are you doing? Holding up ok?

Just wanted to share something random ... there is a girl at work that is ...erm... a little difficult to work with. Her initials are CM, and everytime I see her initials I think cervical mucous -bwahahaha!! Terribly immature I know, and this prob means that I am now a ttc geek but just thought I'd share. Makes me feel a bit better when having to put up with her precious-ness

AFM - having a very very very quiet weekend and am currently lolling about in bed while ds in having a nap. Feeling a bit pukey which is comforting, v sore bbs still and just so very very tired. Of course I couldn't get some rest without bringing the laptop! Counting down until my scan on Friday (5 sleeps) and have become pretty nervous about it all actually. Having a missed m/c last time means I can't just rely on my symptoms to tell me all is ok. Was much easier when scan was weeks and weeks away - I could do the ostrich thing and stick my head in the sand

Better go, just realised I'm rambling. Hope you're all having lovely weekends. Bucketloads of and for you all

    xx
