    Hi Girls,

Zionsmom...welcome, and you are in my prayers for a BFP...xxx

Tonners - YAY..Congratulations sweetie. Wishing you a very H&H pregnancy,

Hope - HELLO there. Thanks for thinking about me hun. I've been wondering how you've been lately too, but by the looks of your ticker, you're streaming along. Thanks for the offer of the warmed up seat, but unfortunately i won't be joining you in there before you're gone. We're not TTC at the moment. I'm working on myself for a while and losing weight which will help out in the long run (13.8kg so far in 7 weeks, so it's going really well). We probably won't start TTC again until maybe March or April next year, but we're okay with that and i have the hugest weight lifted of my shoulders since making that decision. You'll have your little bubba in no time now. Luv ya matey...xxx

Hi to everyone else, and i want to see LOTS of BFP's coming out of this thread...xxxx

    Afternoon!!

Jenjams - Definately a 2008 bubba!! Hoping this next cycle is the one!

leyla - I'll have to get DH on the Vit C as well then!! Anything to improve him just a tad!! We are both ex smokers (nearly 3 years) and drink minimal, so we'll see!

janeo - VERY excited about your wedding plans for this year now!!! Look forward to hearing all about the preparations! My SIL is getting married 1st December, beautiful time of year for a wedding!

Belinda - hope the last few days have been a little better! Grrrr at getting a +ve O when DH is at work! Everything crossed that this is your month!! Sounds like you had all your days covered!

Sharon - I hate crappy AF's It turns us into horrible people and our poor DH's suffer (though I did giggle because you sound a lot like me!). I've taken to do a kickboxing workout when I'm getting mega grumpy, DH loves it because he 'feels safe'..LOL!

Diane - welcome and I'm so sorry for you loss The support here is wonderful and I hope you get a lovely BFP when you are ready to start again.

Heybacko - YAY!!! So glad the bleeding has finally stopped! You must be relieved that you can start moving forward again!

mummyto1 - I can't remember if I congratulated you so just in case - CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Herbie - Everything crossed for you!!! When are you due to test??

Tonners - OMG!! Congratulations!! Fabulous news!! Wishing you a healthy and sticky 8 months!!!

Salt - I hope the antibiotics are the end to your troubles. I'm so sorry to hear about that poor little baby too, so devastating for the parents. Hugs to them.

No news from me! I haven't been charting, have just decided to start using OPK's around day 12 (which coincides with my FS appointment, so will speak to him about it), and we'll see what happens!

    Hi to everyone else

    Hi girls,

Well, I have sooo much to catch up on - it has been v busy in here!

SP - great to hear from you - I was starting to wonder where you were! Good luck for the appointment on Thurs, I hope it all goes well. That is a good idea to get the drug but only take it after AF arrives, and then you will be well on your way to a bub!! I'm glad that your cycle seems to be back to normal. So sorry to hear about your friend's baby - that is awful. It does make you wonder sometimes why such awful things happen. Pregnyl is a drug that can be taken to make you O, or, as in my case, taken after O to support the lining and keep it nice and healthy so a bub has time to implant. It is essentially pg hormone that boosts your progesterone, and it means I can't do an HPT, as it will come up positive due to the injections, so the clinic will get me to do a BT in a couple of weeks and will then tell me if I am pg. It's all so confusing!

jane - yay on setting a wedding date! That's great and you are going to be one v busy girl!!

bek - good luck for your scan tomorrow - I am sure all will go well

belinda - yay on O'ing and getting the timing right! Best of luck this cycle - if it works out for both of us this month, we will be due on the same day!!

Shan - how are you going?

Hope - thanks for popping in and sending us some babydust! I have been checking up on you too and am amazed at how fast your pg is going!

Sharon - sorry AF has been so horrid, I am glad she is on her way out now. I had a long scrapbooking night on Sat too, only just gotten into it and I love it! Re the eyes - I am -5 in one eye and -5.5 in the other, so I am pretty blind too! And the supposedly 'breathing' contacts still don't work on my eyes!

Diane - welcome and sorry to hear about your loss. It is a really difficult thing to go through and I hope we can help you through this time .

Alex - so glad you have stopped bleeding finally - yay!!

    Tonners & mummyto1 - congrats!!!

las - thanks for your comments re the injections. It really is so overwhelming, but now that I have had time to get my head around everything and have had my first injection, it really isn't that bad. I'm glad you don't have long til your FS appointment.

satya - thanks for the info re pregnyl. Now that I have had a chance to research it, it looks like it probably is a good one for me to be on, as I don't really need clomid (and by the sounds of it, could do without the nasty side effects!). Sorry you have had such a nasty AF, I'm glad you are feeling better now. Not long now til your appointment.

    Hi to everyone else.

Well, I had to get another BT on Sat, and the clinic phoned later that day and said I was about to O and to have my first injection, and 'have intercourse', on Sat, Sun and Mon. I am pretty sure I O'ed on Sat, so we have been busy over the weekend lol!! The injection really wasn't that bad, it just seems like such a big deal having to mix the ampoules together and do it ourselves, but DH was pretty cool about it. Everytime I nag him about something he goes 'when do I get to jab you next?' with a wicked grin on his face! Evil man!! So I guess all we can do now is wait. Apparently I will get in the mail a couple of BT forms to get done over the next couple of weeks, and if it doesn't work, then we are on to clomid next cycle. I am still afraid I will m/c again, but I suppose I feel a bit more hopeful now than I did before.

Trying to keep up, trying to keep up!!!! Thank god I haven't got rice or pasta on the stove!!!

Bun - great news that the injecting is not that bad! 'Have intercourse' - what's that about then??? Is it the same as BDing Sounds like you and DH are both really relaxed and being pretty chilled through this injection marlarky- that's really good vibes I reckon!!!!!

Las - know where you are coming from ditching temping!! Was never quite sure whether I was cr*p or I could blame it on the thermometre!! Just all over the place and relied on OPKs, pretty good for me!

Maz - you have got me scratching you mare!!! BTDT, thought I had a year off before kindy!!! If it is any help (not) I have had a DAY OFF and now I am spotting a tad - FFS!!! I feel a bulk purchase of OPK coming on!!!

Jane - have you posted 'the one ring' yet?? Oh, I love wedding and would quite happily divorce DH (of coming up 17 years!) to 'do' the dress, the hair, the flowers, etc all over again - maybe a tad OTT but SO exciting!!!

Salt - Thurs sounds really promising, doesn't it!! LOL on your rating of 'good' for intercourse - bet your DH would score you otherwise!!!! (Big hug sent to those poor, poor parents - how can s**t like this happen - SO unfair)

Sharon - I am married to an Optician (OPSM) and would LOVE corrective surgery - he is a little more cautious! Bugs me about how long I wear lenses, how well I clean them, etc. I am -4.50 and -4.25 and had a pretty hairy time convberting my UK driving licence to a NZ one - nearly failed the eyesight test with my sodding Optician standing next to me!!!!!

Shan - OMG on the weight loss, that is SOME progress, you must be so proud!

Belinda - fingers crossed for you, looks good timing wise doesn;t it!!!

BekZ - Tuesday tomorrow, will be thinking of you xxx

Jenjams - I am with you for a 2008 bubs (there will be SO many of us, ooooh the cost in congratulations cards!!! I will start saving now!!)

Leyla - congrats on you & DH quitting, that can't have been easy - my best friend just quit after 25 years (yep, we ARE that old!!!) and she hasn't looked back. Way to go you!!!

Tonners - said it once, say it again - WELL DONE YOU MARE!!!!

Flower - you've been a bit quiet, are you okay????

Big hugs to those I have missed, so sorry, such a busy thread
    Will be emptying real quick

    Love Alex
    xxx

Hello to you all, farout I have no idea where to start in here.
Satya-Glad to hear AF is strating to pack -up ready to go, best of luck this time for you
mummyto1 & Tonners-Congrats on the great news lots of to both of you
Bekz-I am sure everything is fine and best of luck for tomorrow, keep us posted on your progress
saltprincess-That is so sad about your frinds friend, it really makes you wonder sometimes hey, why is life so cruel. Glad that all is going ok with you though & that you had a really busy weekend LOL, everything crossed for you.
Shan-As you can see we are all trying hard for the BFP, lol. Well done on your weight loss you are doing a great job, keep it up. I know it can be a struggle sometimes but keep going it will pay off soon
las-How are you going with your OPK's? Can you please tell me what FS stands for, sorry to be so dopey.
Bun-Try not too stress too much over the m/c, although I know how you feel, that can sometimes make things worse. I am glad all is going better for you though & you are more confident. Don't forget to let us know how you go with your BT
Janeo-You sound like you have been very busy, nice to hear you are getting yourself organised & all is going to plan for you, best of luck with it & I am sure you will find the perfect dress. I was lucky enough to be able to wear my mums wedding dress which was 36 yrs old at the time. Had a few alterations done to it & it was beautiful.
maz-Sounds like you are currently nearly run off your feet, I am scratching my head with you LOL

Well I have had some spotting today & AF cramps, I would say she is nearly here, due on wed/ thurs. It is 10yrs today since my mum died & it feels like only yesterday, so knowing AF is on her way is just a real pain in the [email protected]#$ but what can you do, not much. I thought now would be a great time for a BFP however did test this morning, as I could no longer wait naughty naughty, & you guessed it What a [email protected]#t of a day. Had a huge temp drop this morning. At least I can try again next month I spose, sorry for being so down in the dumps but I am well & truly over today. Wish now af would hurry up so she can rack-off.
Thanks for the ears and listening to my rubbish, talk tomorrow

    Herbie

    Hi everyone,

Tonners - congrats on the . Sending you loads of

Saltprincess - that's so sad about that baby - life really does seem harsh when you hear about such stories.

Maz - Well my AF arrived right on time - 4 weeks after my m/c. I have read it can happen any time from two to ten weeks after m/c. It seems most women on here have had it by 6 weeks though.

Herbie - You must really miss your mum. I'm so sorry the anniversary of her death did not bring good news for you. I know that there will be good news coming along soon for you though.... it's just a matter of time.

Hi to everyone else. There's way too many of us in here. Come on, how about some more BFP's so we can start emptying out

zionsmum I am sorry to hear about your loss, so many of us go for a scan or our first ob appt to be told the same thing, I thought I was 11 weeks at my 1st ob visit and he always does a quick scan on the machine in his room, as soon as he said he was going to need to do an internal u/s I knew there something wrong, and I was right, my baby had died at 7 weeks, straight after my D&C the following day all I wanted was to be pg again. Hope that your stay in here is short and sweet.
heybacko congrats on the bleeding stopping, hope it doesn't take too long for you to figure out where you are in your cycle. I can understand your DH feeling cautious about the surgery, it took me a few years before I decided on going ahead with the laser surger, and was glad they no longer used the scalpel to create the flap, but another laser instead, I was VERY anxious but the 1 valium helped heaps, I told the lovely male assistant that he was my new best friend LOL
herbie it sounds promising for you, as for your chart (read your other post) and it could be implantation, especially since you had spotting, and temp had a huge jump this morning as well, don't really know about the temping time though it must be really hard not having your mum around :hugs:
Tonners a huge congratulations on your BFP that is great news, have you had any blood tests yet.
bekz yeah, think I will start my vitex again tomorrow, and will also start my grapefruit juice again (usually put the vitex in a mouthful of juice anyway as it is so disgusting) good luck with your u/s today (it is today isn't it?) what time is it? Please let us know how it went.
saltprincess I was actually thinking the same thing myself about my AF as I haven't had what I would consider to be 'normal' AF for years, so hopefully it is a good sign. Yay on the being 7 dpo but also very sad about your friend of a friends baby, that is just so heartbreaking. I find it hard to catch up on posts and do personals if I miss a few days too.
Shan WAY TO GO on losing nearly 14kg in 7 weeks that is amazing, you should be so very proud of yourself.
*las* I was such a cow, but when I think about it now it does make me laugh. LOL at your dh feeling safe when you do your kickboxing workout.
bun I really really really hope that you managed to catch that eggie the other day and that it is the stickiest of babies, so let's hope all the injections help. Also I don't think the so called 'breathable' contacts would work on me either.
maz I have heard that some women take a while to get their AF after a D&C so maybe that is just what is happening with you, the waiting still sucks big time though.
janeo definitely sounds like you are keeping yourself busy with your wedding plans
satya my 1st AF after D&C was exactly when I would have expected it also, it's nice when that happens as you feel that your body is doing something right for once.

I can't believe how long it has taken me to catch up on all the posts, and it had only been a day, there must be too many women in here and we need a surge of BFP's. I received my LC package yesterday and I will start opk'ing on Sat, would normally leave it for another week, but since my AF was so abnormal for me (normal for most though) I think that I may O early and in that case I don't want to miss it, I have enough opk's to keep me going right up till my normal O day though.

Will try to be back later, sorry to anyone that I have missed, hope everyone has a great day.

Sharon thank you for your kind words, I hope my stay here is short as well as everyone elses. Although my boss sort of politily requested if there was any way I could not have a baby between Christmas and the first of January. I work in a jewelry store so I can understand but now I feel a little bit of pressure to be careful. I guess a month or so of waiting isn't terrible it might be good for me. I hope everyone had a great Monday!

    Hi girls,

Well, I am now 3DPO and nothing to report, although the injections I am on have side-effects that are like pg symptoms, so if I am starting to feel pg in a week or so, it could just be the drugs! The next injection is tomorrow. I am trying to distract myself with other things, which is easy, as I am going to Spain!! Yay! And also either London or Paris - not sure which and I need to decide by Thurs to get a decently priced ticket. Hmmmm... which one? I am also getting back into a lot of old hobbies and that is keeping my mind full of other things too. Sometimes I just see pregnancy as the most stressful thing that I wonder why on earth I would even want to put myself through it again? Of course I want a family, but I am just so over this process.

Salt - yes, it is going to be a very stressful wait for the clinic to phone and tell me if I am pg or not. I am half expecting that although we have conceived so easily every other cycle, this one it won't happen and all the injections will be for nothing! Only 4 more to go, I think I have to have them at 3 day intervals for the next week and a half. Not long til your OB appointment now.

maz - I haven't had a D & C, and I got AF after 6 1/2 weeks after my first m/c, and 5 1/2 weeks after my second m/c. The second pg was shorter than the first, so I thought maybe that was why it took less time for AF to come back. I was told that generally AF should come about 4-6 weeks later.

mummyto1 - make sure you keep checking in with us so we know how you are doing!

Satya - it's good that AF has arrived - now you can move on to a fresh cycle.

Herbie - so sorry to hear about your BFN and that AF is on her way, esp today. You must really miss your mum, especially at times like this.

Alex - yeah, it is wierd hearing the term 'intercourse' - it makes me laugh! Esp when someone is telling us when to do it - I really don't like that, but I suppose right now it can't be helped.

    Hi to everyone else.

I agree with everyone else - there are way too many people in here and it is time for a cleanout!!

    Hi everyone

Just a few quickies as I want to jump in the bath whilst DH is running the eldest to Sea Scouts and has taken the rest of the brood!! Ooooh, pecae and quiet!!

Bun - things sound so good for you!! Spain is lovely - although France is my absolute fave. As a (ex)Pom, people ask me what I miss about the UK and I say France!!! Ditch smelly, over-crowded, uptight London and do Paris - SO much better people, shops, food, wine and SO very romantic (corny but true!)

Maz - I had a D&C 3 weeks ago today (14 weeks pg) and am STILL being messed about with spotting and the odd cramp. Think I will have to 'go bulk' on the OPKs to get a drop on where my cycle is - I haven't a clue! Bun's right though, I was told 4-6 weeks too.

Salt - thinking of you waiting for your Obs appt. I am SO dire at waiting for anything so sending you patient and calm vibes!!

Satya - sorry to old Witch is here but it's the beginning of a plan! Wish I knew where she was too!

Herbie - big love being sent to you at the difficult time xx

Hi to everyone I have missed but if I don't go now, they will be back and my 'me time' will evaporate before my eyes!!

    Hi Heybacko and everyone....

Thanks for the suggestion re. Group B Strep - I called the Coroner/Pathologist - as we are awaiting our final autopsy report, which will reveal any blood & tissue problems. They will be finished the final report next week - but could tell me now that Group B Strep was tested for and came back negative.

We may never get an answer as to why our little boy died, I'm preparing myself for that.

Meantime, I'm just trying to move forward, and not obsess about being pregnant again!! It's been 7 weeks since our baby died, seems like forever. It'll take time most likely to get pregnant again, and I try to keep busy and fulfilled in the meantime - so hard to be happy sometimes when I remember all that my little boy has missed out on.

I'll let all know if the final autopsy report has any major revalations - I truly hope so.

Good luck this week ladies with TTC, I really am sending positive vibes to all of you.

    Regards,

    Lee

    Hi everyone,

Maz - I didn't have a D&C either and my AF came right on 4 weeks after the m/c.

Zionsmum - Don't worry too much about your boss' request. You could get pregnant a month or two later and then give birth prematurely & it would still fall within the busy time (let's hope not though, better to have a full term bub).

Bun - lucky you going to Spain. I haven't been but it looks like a great place to visit. That's a really hard choice between London & Paris as both are great cities to visit, but I think if I had the choice I'd go to London. Heaps to see and do in both places but I found the Parisians to be rude & it's the only place that I've travelled to and had a guy grab my boobs right there in the street in broad daylight..... so I guess I'm a little biased because of that. Whatever you choose I'm sure you will have a great time.

Nothing to report from me except that my AF is well and truly gone. I'm surprised by this as I thought it would be nastier and longer than it was... only 3 days.... I'm not complaining though. I just wish the rest of the week would fly by, I want to know what my u/s results were.
