Trying to Conceive After Miscarriage or Loss Jan 2010

Hi ladies,
I would like to introduce myself....I'm CrafytMummy's friend.......Carrie. I live in Leicestershire in the UK.....we have 10cm of snow!!! Bet you ladies are a bit warmer.
This is my story....in brief.
I recently miscarried my beautiful baby boy Eden at 17 weeks. He was peacefully born sleeping on 27.12.09. Scans show that he stopped growing at 13-14 weeks, a week after I had the swine flu jab. We have been given permission today to collect his body and we are starting to arrange his blessing and goodbye service with our vicar. We wont be able to get a complete picture of what happened to our baby boy until the post-mortem results can be fully assessed, however, Dr's have found provisional links between the swine flu jab and Eden's body failing to continue to grow. There is evidence to suggest that his heart continued for up to two weeks after he stopped growing.
None of this makes any sense to me....I have had two healthy, low risk pregnancies with my girls and fantastic home-birth deliveries with no pain relief. My husband even delivered our second daughter!!! I am a fighting fit 30 year old and have no medical conditions. I only hope the PM can give us a clearer picture and some answers to our questions.
So....here I am......in the mist of all this confusion and heartache trying to find some support. I am humbled by your stories of loss and also of joy in the face of adversity. I hope to find strength from your stories and although our priority at the moment is to ensure that Eden is laid to rest peacefully and in a dignified way, I look forward to the day when I start my next period and can begin working towards a more positive future.
My husband, myself and our gorgeous girls visited a place called the Eden Project in Cornwall England on New Years Day. We planted a tree in memory of our little angel. It was a positive start to the new year and I hope all of you ladies and your respective families also have a positive year ahead of you.
