Mummy of 4........Thank you for your words of support. It sounds like you are in a very similar position to me. It's all so devastating.
I am a physio so have seen a number of PM's during my medical training- I know that there may not be conclusive answers that will give us closure, and we are trying as best as possible to prepare ourselves for the 'not knowing'. I'm a 'need to know everything' kinda girl and I would hate to not have definitive answers.....but I am trying to prepare myself for that possibility. Unfortunately for us, our consultant told us today that there is early evidence of a link between the swine flu jab and Eden ceasing to grow. This is obviously of interest to the medical profession and she (and her team of people from patient affairs) warned us today that there may be media attention later down the line. As if MC isn't hard enough to deal with!!! I guess we'll have to cross that bridge when/ if it happens.
In the meantime, I have two happy little girls to keep me occupied and to keep my spirits up.
Anita....my thoughts and prayers are with you and your man. May God bless you both with a healthy baby in 2010. It must be tremendously difficult for you to listen to other ladies stories. Try to stay positive- I will pray for you and be thankful for my blessings everyday.
Exactly a year to the day that we lost Eden, my husband's best friend lost his twin boys. His wife miscarried their twin boys Harry and George on 27.12.08. It was their third miscarriage and they didn't have any other children to ease their grief but are now 18 weeks pregnant. I pray this little baby continues to grow into a healthy baby. Don't lose hope Anita.
