as for everyone else hang in there and we are still for u all
Matthewsmum - How you doing sweetie? I don't know how i get the energy to do so much exercise at times! I just make myself get up and do it. If i don't, I find I let things bother me much easier (like this ttc journey). It helps having DD who's almost 4 - full of beans and lurves going to the gym! She begs me to go haha.
Hubbabubba & Mummyof4 - Hi ladies, how are you both doing?
Dory - aaahh the beauty of ms! On one hand, you want it so bad! On the other, it sucks cos your energy is lower than low and you feel like your best friend is a bucket, or a toilet. haha. Well I'll be happy to take over and do enough exercise for the both of us! I put on so much extra weight at christmas that i've stepped it up a bit more this week, and i'm happy that i did cos i've dropped 3.5kgs already this week. It normally goes that way, if i push it hard enough i'll get up to 4kgs on the first week and then 1kg per week after that. I only have 3.5kg left to get back to my normal prechristmas body! Well I don't go to the gym on Fridays, so today i'll be back in the garden and probably take DD for a bike ride and i'm thinking a picnic in the park. Will think of you while i'm dragging that kiddy trailer behind my bike up those hills! Hope you're feeling better soon. xx
TTCALC - Hey babe, i've been trying with all my mind power to send AF to you..haha.. you can have her! she's not welcome here!!
to everyone else - cookie, crafty, emmy, thopes, sunbeam, ric, snugglybean, SPF, elise and anyone else i have missed... hope you're all doing well.
murraycod - I'm thinking of you. fingers crossed you'll have some great news for us very soon!!!
Well I'm a Lorna Jane addict (which helps because my business is in retail promotions and LJ's a client of mine!), so i'm bidding on loads of new things on ebay! I spent hundreds of dollars at their stores in december so i figure i'll try to get some new things a little cheaper this time round. So funny, DD won't wear anything else now because it's not Lorna Jane haha. She has all of the LJ kids collection. I'm hoping to get some new crop top / sports bras, they're so comfortable and holy moly - talk about cleavage!! hehe.
Hello lovelies,
Sorry not much time to post as I'm between clients.
Ferrals- I am so sorry about what has happened, I personally can't imagine the beautiful image of Abbi's footprints being upsetting but i guess I'm not everyone. I really really hope you don't go forever because we will miss you so much, you have been such a fantastic support to me over the last 9 months.
Murrycod- really hoping your embies are in fantastic shape and your transfer brings a BFP very soon. Enjoy your luxury hotel time.
Dory- Congratulations sending you lots of sticky vibes totally understand you feelings of stress.
AFM- my scan today showed a 9.5mm lining and a nice fat 19mm follie so I have my insemination tomorrow at 9am. Amazing how with the injections they can get me from AF to O in 11 days when it can take me 25 days on my own (so signature a bit out)!!
TCCALC - I had a pituitary tumour when I was a teenager. They medicated me - bromocriptine for the tumour and inderal for the migraines. Took a while to get on track with what was the correct dose but within 18 months it had completely disappeared. They anticipated it would degenerate into a cyst but it didn't leave anything behind. Was a great result. I was, however, told that I would be infertile and for many years I was unable to fall pregnant. The docs kept telling me that if I was somehow able to fall preg that it would sort out all my hormones etc. Well, I concluded I was never going to be a mum so although I used contraceptives, I wasn't too careful about it and ended up falling pregnant totally unexpectedly with DD1. Thankfully, at the time, it was something we both wanted so it wasn't a problem. DD2 came along very easily after that and it seems I haven't had any problems much with falling preg since then, just with staying that way sometimes. I hope they're able to sort out your tumour without operation and that everything works for you. Glad that it's stable. Mine was very little - only the size of a pea but man did it disrupt things.
Love and baby dust to everyone else, Sunbeam, good luck with insemmination tomorrow xox
hi all .Dory - wow! Congrats! So so happy to read your wonderful news today! Look after both of you ok xx Afm- im away relaxing by the murray river with dh, have pinched his phone and jumped online, i just cant stand not knowing whats going on with you crazy kids! Tested yesterday n today got bfn - boo! were still hopeful cause very early n think i ov later than normal. Af due mon-fri so will see! Sorry not much detail; hard to post on mobile. Xx
oh and loved my new future ob! What a breath of fresh air! Feeling very positive about him! He even did u/s of uterus. Said endo lining was 13mm thick, consistant of where i should be at this stage of my cycle but said it could also be consistant with very early preg! Oh please please! Lovely man and very understanding- said when it does happen; i can have scans as often as i need! Xx
Hi there
T hopes glad you found a good ob to give you confidence thats what you need,
sorry you got a BFN but as you say not over till the old witch sets in !
Afm well I also got a BFN this morning so I am expecting AF any time in the next 2 days just feel really let down atm and struggling to keep positive with my age !
Oh well got my 2 older boys arriving from the UK next sat morning so at least I can have a few glasses of wine while they have a beer !
Not much else to say hope Carrie has a good day and finds some peace after her little Eden is laid to rest today !

ferrals, sorry you feel you have to leave, but you will be missed on here
craftymummy9 sorry about bfn, but at least you have your boys visit to look forward to
T-hopes good luck, your ob sounds great did you just book a pre-pregnancy appt? i was thinking about something like this so i can get more scans next time and not have another missed m/c.
Sunbeam good luck tomorrow. let us know how you get on
ciara.e well done on the weight loss. i for one never exercise so you are doing better than me! lol
TTCALoveChild when is af due? hope you get some news one way or the other soon.
murraycod, any news yet?
afm i have had the weirdest thought today. before my m/c everyone i knew that had babies had girls, and now everyone i know is now having boys. nothing else to report from me
craftymummy9 we must be cycle buddies. I have a 31 day cycle and now CD3 so lets pray we are belly buddies for October. I would like an Oct bub but I wanted a July, August, September one too and every other month.
Murray cod praying everything went smooth today and your enjoying that nice feed and motel place and have a few snow babies for later use if needed.
Sunbeam good luck tomorrow. Hope those swimmers get to work quickly and find that egg.
Emmy - i had a giggle at your last post.. i too would have loved a January, February, March, April, May, June, July, Augor Sept baby... but i'm happy with an October baby too! haha.. whenever it happens, i'm happy with that! haha. I do want to be pregnant during summer if i can, because I hate the thought of a poor newborn being icky sticky hot and being unable to do anything about it.
Crafty - I'm slightly jealous of your punctual AF! I just wish that if i'm not UTD, AF could at least be kind enough to pay me a punctual visit like she did you! LOL - Aargh well, better luck this cycle hun! Get ready to get your gear off!! haha.. start saving your energy... there's a lot of baby making to be had soon! In the meantime, enjoy your visit from the UK.
spf - isn't it funny how that happens? I have always noticed that it goes in cycles like that. Although, when i had DD there was only a handful of girls born in that month in the same hospital, so i guess i'm an exception to that rule haha. And thanks about the weight loss... it's not always an easy road, and i have had problems with my weight all my life. I was over 120kgs, so i'm happy that i'm only 68kgs now (i'm almost 6ft tall so that's actually quite small for me) but i want to get back to my ideal weight of 65 so i'm happy to let you sit back and i'll do enough exercise to cover you too!!
Thopes - glad you found a great OB. And I have my fingers crossed for you that it is a sign of early pregnancy and not AF!!!
Smallfry - glad your tumour is no longer a problem! The human body can be very nasty to us sometimes
Hello to everyone else, and i hope you all had a great day.
AFM - nothing much happened today. Still no AF, no sign of her either. The neighbours next door are about 2 metres away from DDs bedroom with music louder than a niteclub (and no, i'm not exaggerating!)... so i kindly yelled for them to turn it down as my child is sleeping in that room... well they weren't too happy about it... but they turned it down... haha, i realised it's teenagers home alone so i'm sure they'll be good now as i'll just see their parents tomorrow if they're not.
Aargh, i just wish i was pregnant already! I'm just being impatient now! DP and I agreed we wouldn't really want a December baby as that's already too expensive for us with christmas, my birthday and my grans birthday... plus I told him that I want us to get married on the day the world is meant to end (21.12.12) which means that if the world doesn't end we'll also have our anniversary in December hahaha. Last cycle i told him to have his way with me in my sleep just to be sure haha... it was great motivation for him to get some extra BDing done! lol..and of course I woke up pretty fast every time! so basically i've got to hurry up and get UTD very fast, or wait til after DD's birthday. That's if DP changes his mind about giving up our ttc plans

s\fryplus ~ glad to hear your doing good with your putitary..
it has caused so many problems ith me..i have migraines everydy and i mean every single day.. i was taking topmax and idneal as you but it didnt help..they think the topmax was casuing me to have mini seziours ..
they thought it was pressing on my optic nerve so they thought they was going to have to remove it but come to find out it wasnt...
In 2005 i was DX with it being 1cm then by 2007 it was 8 so it started to grow rapidly but then stopped but im thinking its starting to mess up again cause my migranines are even more tense latley.. but i have tolerated the pain for 5 yrs so im usually use to it..
thanks for asking about me
Crafty sorry sweetie!..

Well I'm a bit bummed and very confused. The IUI went fine but donor daddy's pre wash count was 19 million with 95% motility and post wash it was 3 million with 95% motility. I have been googling all afternoon and can find no explanation for the huge loss in perfectly good sperm other than (and I hate to think this would be true) the clinic specifically trying to make it hard to concieve so we'd be pushed into IVF. I just don't get where 16 million decent sperm get lost to!!! Washing is only supposed to get rid of dead and poor sperm and semen. The clinic people did not think it was a bad count even though last time they'd told me they like at least 5 million for an IUI?!?!. Think I need to ask some more questions
I know we only need one and that the motility is great but I'd just rather think there was 19 million of them trying to get to the eggie than 3 million!
Sunbeam I have no idea why they would loose so much out of that count....but rest assured, if it is going to work, babe it will. I hope you don't have to move on to IVF, I hope this last IUI works and you get your healthy baby, I truly do XXX
Good luck with the Dreaded TWW, looks like you will be joining me on this one!
Matthew'sMum how are you going during this cycle hun?? I too hope that you won't need IVF, but hey, atleast you girls know where to come for all of the 'gory' questions!!!
TTCALC I pray that you get the start of a new cycle soon, I understand how the waiting can become so frustrating, I hope you feel better after your nap XXXX
Emmy new cycle, new chance XXXXX Good luck XXX
Ciare my friend got married in november, and they had the song "Last Day on Earth" quite weird for a wedding song actually, but it would be so cool for you to ure it on 21.12.12!!!! Wow I had no idea the world was meant to end then!!! I had better go spend up big time!!XX
Still no AF huh???? Oh the waiting. A good friend once told me, go and put the whitest pair of slacks on, leave all tampons/pads at home, and go for a walk down to the shops to chance it!! If that wont bring her on...nothing will (mind you it didn't work for me at the time, but I got a giggle out of it!)
ScaryPinkFairy...thanks for letting us in about the weird thaught you had!!
Hope your kitten has settled in at home well, and isnt climbing the curtains just yet XX
Crafty, sorry AF showed, sounds like there was no hiding from her this month, right on schedule, atleast someone is around here!! I hope you have a lovely time with your 2 boys next weekend, please have a glass of wine for me. Cuz I would LOVE one right now!
THopes I am sooo glad to hear that your OB appt went well, it is great when you feel confident with your OB, not many girls get a choice X And WoW to endo lining, that's thick girl!!!!! Hope you get your BFP in a couple of days, have my fingers crossed for you XXX.......................wow thats thick.................................
Dory I love your posts, gunna miss you as a frequent flyer around here too!! I hope I can join you in the ''escapees' thread real soon, you are such a breath of fresh air XXX But make sure you stick around for a bit here first!!! You gotta wait for me!!!XX
On a seriouse note, you are a sweetheart, glad the advice helped you, I know you would do the same for me, I hope you are feeling happy and pregnant today XXXXX
TwinSis Hey there beutifull XXX
Smallfryplus how's Jellysprog doin!?! Cute name, DH named our Emby 'Harvey" no idea why, not game to ask!! Anyways hope you are well X
Eliselouise XXXXX Big Hugs to you, I stalk you everynow and then to make sure you are fine...and you are!X
Hubbabubba how are you?
Snugglybuggs not long now till you are back to the normality of things, and it seems like yesterday that we were all counting down to your holiday!!!! Looking forward to having you back to crack some seriouse giggles around here XXX
Well, for the Big Big news......OMG what a trip!! Our little emby (Harvey..... DH has decided to name it) is big, fat, healthy and back inside MummaCod!! They even gave me a picture of him!!!! I was amazed. The actual ET procedure was a mix of loosing all of my dignity..(as all us girls have to having vaginas) and watching the most amazing thing happen, glad it is done now X
DH took me out after and we had the most wonferfull evening, I got so spoilt, I recon if I had of asked him to buy me a BMW he would have.... darn I knew I forgot to do something yesterday!!!!!
Was so weird and awesome to wake up thismorning, knowing what is 'there', and all of the wondering, that goes with it.
Crafty, remember we spoke about sneezing once....Sunbeam you prob can appreciate this too, well I sneezed thismorning, and held my crutch at the same time, just incase...well....you know!! Yes I am a goose.
So, 1st Time TWW for IVF cycle Here I Come!!! God help me, and all of the women that are going to have to put up with me on the forums, I apologise now!X
