Mummacod so glad your embie transfer went well. I know exactly what you mean about the loss of dignity and the sneezing thing . Your TTW will be a few days shorter but lets hope there's a pair of big fat BFP's waiting for us. Good luck babe.

damn i just did the longest post and lost it

    basically it said:
murraycod glad transfer went well and little harvey is settling in. i know what you mean about sneezing i do it too, but i have the added problem that i have bulging discs and a sneeze can really put my back out.

Sunbeam glad transfer went well but i have no idea why the number went down so much after washing. but all you need is one, so good luck.

Matthew's Mum that's good that we can get more scans next time then.

TTCALoveChild that is annoying about them moving your appt back so far! you will probably just wait till the end of the month for your cycles return, then you will be ok.

ciara.e wow! that is a lot of weight you have lost, it's a whole person! we must be pretty similar body wise as i am almost 6 ft and last time i weighed myself (at 10 weeks pg) i was 65kg. i must admit it's not down to exercise, i just inherited good genes
this is also my last cycle ttc for a while. if it doesn't happen this time i have to wait till may, so for us both!
also that last day on earth song is my little song. it was on all the time i lost my little one, so can't even listen to it without crying is it kind of weird for a wedding but would be perfect for 21.12.12

Emmy83 and craftymummy9 can i join your bellybuddies group? lol

Murraycod great news hope you get lots of rest and keep feeling positive you really deserve this one hope harvey settles in for the next 38wks and you get morning sickness real soon

Sunbeam if you read my story on my blog maybe you will feel a bit more at ease, I had IUI with DH having hardly any sperm ended up having Donor sperm as his count was almost none after washing ! I then had my son using donor sperm and went on to have 7 normal pregnancies with DH all conceived naturally in the last 14yrs when the Drs told us no chance of ever conceiving with DH IUI or natural so think again you are still OK ! beleive me 3 million is way more than he had !

spfairy and emmy can't wait to move over to the bb forum for oct or nov dec jan feb march oh my I hope it don't take that long I really do ! babydust to us all !

Matthews mum thinking of you I am still the oldest on here I think and im not giving up without a fight so be brave and be positive I hope you don't need ivf but if you do then go for it he who dares wins !

and that lady who lost all that weight well you have put me to shame I am over weight by 20kgs and I have just got DH to get me a treadmill ( sorry copying murraycod ) but I really need to loose it as I am only 5ft 3in and 44 yrs so I seriously need to loose this extra tell me some tips how did you do it and how long ( sorry I forgot to write down your name )

everyone else I will have a glass of wine for you all next sat to celebrate seeing my sons I really miss them and hate being away from them but I love Australia more so I am hoping they will too and decide to join us over here !

speak to you all soon !

    NO MORE SNEEZING MURRAYCOD !

Matthewsmum - that's so cute! I have seen those little kiddy treadmill and bikes... I would have bought them if i had room for them.. but i decided to go for a two-child bike trailer that converts to a twin jogger pram, and a gym membership so i can take her to the pool and to play with other kids in the lazer room in kids club. I wouldn't have had room for the others anyway.. but gosh i wanted to get them! Bet your boy plays on them heaps. What a good mum you are!!!

Sunbeam - i have no idea how all ths IUI stuff works, but try not to worry about the sperm count. I will be praying for a BFP coming your way very soon!!!

Murraycod - oh hahaha about the white pants thing. That's the reason why I don't actually own white pants! haha... i'm sooo likely to have an 'accident' the moment i put them on. perhaps i should buy some tomorrow? lol. Last day on earth would be awesome for a 21.12.12 wedding LOL. just for the humourous side of things. I don't think the world will actually end then, but there have been prophecies about that date and they mostly say that if mankind doesn't change his way, the world will cease to exist.. something along those lines. Well, i just think it's an awesome date for a wedding - you'd never forget the date!! So glad everything went well for you with little Harvey. Hope the little fella gives you that BFP really soon. Rest up now babe, the hardest part is done!

spf - i'm so jealous of your good genes! i have pretty much had fluctuating weight my whole life! It's a big struggle to keep it off but I'm doing ok. Last day on earth would have been a lovely song to help cope with your loss. I'm sorry it still upsets you. I have many songs like that. Somedays I just play all my sad songs just to help me release all this sadness within me. It helps. We have a thing in our family - we play one really sad song at weddings and devote it to all the family and friends we've lost. My wedding day will be the hardest day of all. I actually am putting it off for awhile cos I lost my dad in March last year. I just can't imagine walking down the aisle without him by my side. The only thing i've been certain of is that I wanted him to give me away... i get so upset just thinking about it.. still too raw to deal with

Any who, got a bit off track there...
Hope you're all having a great day. I just got home from my friend's farewell as she's moving to Sydney next week for good. I'm so sad to lose her! She's my daughter's god mother so we're kinda close, you know?

crafty - that was me with the weight loss!!

I missed your post as i was typing my last one.

I actually made loads of changes to my life to do it.. and then I went to study cert 3 and 4 in fitness and personal training. I even run some fitness groups in my area for the ladies looking to lose weight. Gosh it's not easy being a mum! All the things our body goes through!

The basic formula for weight loss = energy in < energy out.

Seems simple but putting it into action isn't always that easy. Just try to cut out one bad food from your diet per week. cut down portion sizes and substitute juices, softdrinks, cordials and coffees for water or sparkling mineral water. And give yourself a goal to acheive each day, and an overall goal. Perhaps your goal for tomorrow can be to walk 5kms on the treadmill. Then you can up your goal each day until you are running 30kms per day. Your overall goal could be to lose the 20kgs in a realistic timeframe, like 3 or 4 months.

Anyway, i talk a lot... so to put a long story short - i'm here to help you and motivate you whenever you need it!

murraycod - god speed to emby Harvey..... I absolutely know what you mean about sneezing, and coughing and going to the loo and bending over ..... not that I worried in the slightest? but at least you had me ROTFL with a mental image of you trying to contort yourself and trying to do those two things at once.

    hey lovies!
wow, did i miss a lot while i was away or what!! i have been catching up for an hour i swear!!
murraycod - so thrilled that everything went well for you on friday! it has made my day to hear that everything is looking good for you guys! sticky vibes for little Harvey!!! and yes we are very lucky to find an ob that is caring and compassionate!! they seem to be few and far between around here! and my lining - yeah i thought it sounded think too!!! i dont know much about it but is it good to be that thick???? not sure what to think!
spf - Yes we just booked a pre-preg appt, he said he does them a lot, especially after ppl have experienced a loss... it was great, really put my mind at ease with lots things! I had complications after my D&C as my uterus closed up and I had no bleeding and I hell of a lot of pain, ended up back in hosp and they had to open my uterus with surgical tools (yep ouch alright!) and with a nasty infection, apparently its very rare for that to happen so thats why he did and u/s to make sure there were no problems and fortunatly is all looked good!! and i am with you on that song - DH and I hold it very close to our hearts too! it came out around the time we lost and it still crushes us everytime we hear it! I remember sitting in the waiting room at the hospital, waiting to go in for my D&C and it came on the tv, we sobbed uncontrollably... i feel my heart break all over again everytime i hear it... especially the line - "I ache I ache I ache inside", thinking of getting that line tattooed on me...
when we lost our angel I went and got a tiny footprint tattooed on my wrist, this way she will always be in my arms..and I got a few of the lines of my fave poem 'Footprints' tattooed on my foot '...when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you' made me feel really good... a little piece of her (we think of our baby as a girl) with me always...
matthews mum - my fingers are crossed for you... praying that its a BFP for you this time round!!!
ric, emmy, crafty - October bubba sounds great!! DH and I say the same thing every month too!!! lol every month has such a nice ring to it huh!!!
crafty - hope you enjoy those glasses of wine, you certainly deserve them!!! xx
sunbeam - thinking of you, my sisters hubby had a quarter of that amount of sperm... they now have 4 beautiful little ones but with the help of IVF!! stay positive!
ciara - has AF arrived yet?? when is she due??? sorry, bit behind on all my posts!!!
dory - how you doing gorgeous??? hope you and bubs are feeling good!! xx
Sorry if i missed anything or anyone... im too far behind! I wont let it happen again!
AFM - we tested again this morning - and BFN... AF is due tomorrow but really dont have any signs of her showing up yet, i usually get very period like pains the day b4 but nothing... I am having sharp pains on my left side quite often, they feel very familiar and lots of white CM! Am i pregnant and I ov'ed later that I thought, (it would explain the EWCM on CD22) and its too early for the test to show or am I setting myself up for another big fall???.... hmmm.... Its gunna crush me!!! pre-warning - i think i am gunna be a humongous mess if she arrives at my door!!! So is DH!
    xx

    Hi all!!

T-hopes - when i was in kindergarten i lost my uncle. He was like a dad to me as the step father i had at home beat us children severely. Anyhow, when my uncle died (aids) the kids at our school started to spit on us cos in the early 80s no one knew anything about aids, they all thought we had it too. So we changed schools and the first day at our new school, the nun who ran the school gave me a copy of Footprints. I still can't read the whole thing without sobbing. It's beautiful and I love that it has been useful for you also in your hour of need. Gosh, life throws us some pretty evil curveballs doesn't it? But these small things (like the poem) make all the difference in helping us get through it. I really hope AF doesn't show up for you! She's still not here for me ???

ttcalc - I have had a few D&C's, but I try to get away without doing them. Ultimately, if your doctor understands your concerns regarding the procedure, he/she should be able to advise you adequately to suit your situation. I mean, if it's been so long for you since AF, there might be a concern regarding infection or something of the like. In this case, I'd put myself in for the D&C. Again, completely your decision and I hope your doctor is able to help you make a more informed educated decision about it. There may be another way around it anyway, so don't be afraid to ask too many questions and tell your doctor exactly how you feel about it all!!

Dory - how you feeling hun? Hope everything is going well! xx

Matthewsmum - thanks so much for your kind words. I was really touched to read your post. I do hope my dad will be there on my wedding day. I think it's just going to be a difficult one for me cos i'm a very emotional person. Regarding you - I can't wait to hear the results of your hpt!! I am so excited here thinking that this is it for you. Keep us informed and good luck!

ric - just like matthewsmum, I too love that equation! Any month is a good month for making a baby haha.. even if it arrives at a less than desirable time, i'd never say no!

AFM - well AF should have arrived last monday, making today 6 days late. There's still absolutely no sign of her arriving, but my boobs are still really sore as they have been for weeks. I have pretty much come to the conclusion i definately O'd later than expected and that could be the reason why i have been having sore boobs? Not sure. So I decided to start saving money for DD's schooling (prep next year and the school i'm sending her to is going to cost thousands!!), so i bought a batch of ebay hpts. I've never been a fan, but i posted a thread a few days ago asking other ladies for their experiences with the ebay ones and mostly they were happy with them (and thanks emmy for your info on them!). So i'm just gonna use them. Still a bfn at the moment, so i'm kinda hoping the ebay tests aren't as sensitive as they say, but i guess it's probably just a bfn altogether. Time will tell.

All the best ladies! Gosh, i'm becoming so attached to all of you here! I can't go a day without my fix!

Hey Ciara~sweetie thanks... Its been 20 days since we lost our lil  maybe my body just isnt ready to go with the flow.. but yes i have tons of questions to ask her.. and if she think i should then ill go for it just to be on the safe side.. I do knwo when i found out i was prego on Dec 14 that the ER doctor said that my white cells were very very high so that made a red flag to him and he knew i had infection then.. and he went ahead and said i had a blighted ovum and i didnt want to believe it so he asked for me to come back in 7 days later to chk blood and it was confirmed then and 4 days later at the Ob ..
from the last blood work on Jan 5th i wasnt told if the white cells were high or not so i assuming they wasnt...

im just hoping she comes soon mkes me worrie.. so im going to call on tuesday and see if there is anyway i can come in earlier then Jan 26.. since They DID cancel my first one..

on day @ a time i guess but until she comes or me getting to the ob/gyn i will be and that she comes!

    thanks again

Matthew'sMum good luck with your FS/OB appt tomorrow, Please don't feel dissapoined if you need to travel the IVF road, it can be a very positive experience if you have a support network in place....like us girls to help you through. Beleive me, you definateld need the support, but at the same time, I felt so happy to be finally doing this. Something has to work, it has too.

Ciara sorry your good friend is moving away, that's sad X
You sound like a great motivater, I may call on you soon!!XX

Thopes I do hope it was too early for you to test babes, but if AF does show darling, it may be a little on the heavy side with that lining of yours hun X Let us know how you get on X I too love the words you have tatooed on your foot.

TTCALC if your FS suggests a D+C at the end of the month, (being that you still don't have a cycle), I would go for it babe X Hopefully you do get a cycle before that, but sometimes our bodies do need a little helping hand. I really don't want to keep pushing the accupuncture thing on you, but it got me back to a reg cycle instantly. And it could also help you out with those nasty headaches you are having to put up with. You never know, it may be all your body needs right now!!! A little helping hand XXX

Dory, glad you got a good giggle, my DH sure did!

Ric I sure do hope this cycle is the one for you X

SPF, before you click the send button after a long post, right click on your mouse and press 'copy', that way if you loose it, you can right click again and press 'paste' and all you had written wil magically come back!!! Will save you a lot of frustration beleive me!!

Nope, no more sneezing Crafty, or coughing, jumping, hot baths, coffee, wine, fresh seafood, cold meat, soft cheese, oooh I hope this is worth ir, I am going to be heart broken if it doesn't.

Well I started my Estrogen patches thismorning, as well as continuing with the Crinone Pessaries (progestrone), am a bit teary today, I am starting to get scared.
Oh my mood from one minute to the next is complete opposite.
I am having a few sooky moments today, dunno why, just feel like a good cry.
I have had some sharp twingy/pinchy cramps 3 times today. Like a real strong pinch on the inside of my tummy. I know it is too early to feel anything, but i just want to know now if it has worked or not. I need to know.
The IUI TWW was bad enough, I had no idea, was not prepared mentally at all for what this feels like at all. This girls, is going to be a hard one to get me through. Sorry..

murraycod-were all excited/anxious about your little Harvey(that'll be a story to tell at 21st especially if turns out Harvey is a girl)i've heard they have a councillor assigned to your ivf team,to help with the tww,not sure what they would be able to say though, hormones would be playing a big part of how your feeling, keep focusing on the big picture.Little Harvey has a lot of cyber aunties thinking of him...Dory-how are you feeling,ms?..ttcalovechild-you've got a lot of? to ask doc, have you thought about making a list,i know i've sometimes walked out forgetting to say/ask something..t-hopes-tattoo sounds beautiful, she will always be with you,i'm sorry the ache comes with it...ciara-i need my daily fix as well...

TTClovechild - sorry i forgot you on my last post !! I agree with the other girls, if AF still hasnt arrived by 26 Jan then maybe your body does need a little help, might be just what you need to get you back on track and regular! dont forget what your body has been thru, its the first time your body has been thru all this and im sure its learning too... just trying to find its way! xx
murraycod - oh lovey, it must be so stressful! I cant even begin to imagine and all those hormones wont be helping all those tears! Lean on DH, he sounds fabulously supportive and Im sure he is feeling just as scared and anxious as you are! This is your first IVF, its the fear of the unknown.. its ok to feel like this and I would be shocked if you didnt shed a few tears in the time leading up to your BT! Were all here for you and we have big shoulders when you need them, stay strong, I know you are! You can do it!! xx
ciara - thanks, I hope she stays away too! and im very sure i ov'ed later too, just hope i caught it in time! And Im soory to hear such a sad story about your uncle, kids are so cruel, must have been so awful for you. its a beautiful poem huh... i grew up with it too, mum had it posted up in every room of the house and im not much better in my own home! or my foot for that matter! its really special xx
cookie - how are things going with you darlin??
