Mathewsmum-i talk about abbi in a positive way around the boys i include her in a lot of our day to day things like at xmas we brought a glass ball with an angel in it and abbi's name engraved on it so she was with us i also hung her little booties on the tree and when we go out if we see roses we buy one and put it with her ashes the boys are not afraid to mention her name they ask me all the time how old would abbi be now mum and would she be sitting up yet ect i keep my saddness to myself and my hubby and when we see serverely disabled children i tell the boys if abbi were here she would be like that or worse and i say where she is now she is healthy and normal and has no pain they also have abbi's foot prints as their wallpaper on there mobile phones so i think they are doing great i wish i was.

Hey guys. I have MIA huh?

Ferrals4 - you are truly inspirational. I love Abbi's footprints, they are such a tangible reminder of how precious she is. I am sorry you are doing it tough right now. When you say Abbi would be 5 months now, is that from her EDD or when she was born? When I work that stuff out I seem to swap between the two, but more lately just go on the time frames of the birth. Just curious to see how others think.

Mo4 - I hope you puked up your breakfast again girl! ANY NEWS? Did you cave and test?

Emmay83 - Hang in there....... at least our body was giving you some signs which you were reading the right way.....

Murraycod - way to go. I am so happy for you. That number is a great number.

SPF - how's Amy doing? If you didn't know already, I am just besotted with cats, any cats. I just love their independence, their mannerisms, their purr, their personalities, their companionship, their ability to give me comfort and to make me laugh because of their antics. I don't even mind when they knock the waterford crystal offthe bench and smash it( well I was the dopey one that put it out where they could knock it off, esp knowing their natures as I do, so I am to blame, not them)

Hi to everyone else - thinking of you. Hoping for good things.

    AFM

I thought I had posted here the other night, but it seems I didn't. I am thinking of you all, but have my own little bit of exciting news. 3 BPF's over the past 2 days. The most recent one, yesterday - was pretty strong. The others had not been that convincing and I reckon I was just willing the line to appear and it obliged very faintly.

So here I am facing pregnancy number 5, but the 4th in the past 18 months. I am pretty excited, but also confused. The only outcome I have for my pregnancies is bereavement, and as much as I want to be positive, I have to battle hard against the negative thoughts and experiences that tell me this outcome will be the same. I have made a committment to enjoy the pregnancy, but it's a pretty constant battle to be mostly positive. That's not to say I won't let myself be sad, scared, confused, but just that I make a committment to try not to wallow in those feelings.

Anyway GP appointment saturday.... that's the next step. Only something like 256 days to go.

Mummyof4-sounds promising hope those two lines appear soon for you.

Dory-I go from the date Abbi was born 20/3/09 same day as my niece and the only other grandaughter in my family coincidence or what! congratz on your 3 BFP's i hope this one is a healthy pregnancy for you.

Mathewsmum-awww it must be hard to explain to little ones.

TTCALC-wouldnt it be nice to go to your doc appt already pregnant anything is possible.

SPF-kittens are so cute i also can tell when i ovulate but i like to use OPK's so i can get in before but i will not be using the fortel brand again they are always positive with me so i got some first response and they are neg at the moment so i expect to see a positive in the next few days.

AFM- my clearblue fertility monitor still has not arrived so i have to wait until next cycle to use it lets hope i wont need it and we catch that egg when we are away on holiday.

Dory - Congratulations! Go stand in front of a mirror, put your hand on your belly, smile - look into your own eyes and say "whatever will be will be". It helped me remember that constant stressing was not helping my little bubba, and kept me a little bit calmer.
Craftymummy - howd the testing go?
Emmy - relax, take it easy, and smile. Each new cycle is a new opportunity.
Murraycod - I'm sending mental fertiliser thoughts to your embies!
Matthew's Mum - Isn't the key to victory the element of surprise? You'll shock em all!
Ferrals - I forgot to mention just how beautiful abbi's little tootsies look. And who cares if you never get to use the monitor if it was just the thought that counted! Hoping you don't need it!
spf - I'm trying to remember why I asked. I think you were concerned about the condition of AF - I was concerned about mine ages ago - I remember asking dr google (most of the hits were about implantation bleeding!) but I vaguely remember seeing something about shorter AFs can relate back to ovulation (which is why I would have asked about the opk's, to see if you can confirm o is occurring correctly...)
TTCALC - the strange hope we hold in our heads sometimes. But hope is good. Hope keeps us going!
Mo4 - oh! pukiness! I'm gonna send some pukey vibes your way. I only threw up twice through both my pgs - once was very early during my first (about 6dpo) - and was gastro related. The second time was about 5-10 minutes after I passed my first (KT). So throughout my second pg I was praying for pukies.
T-Hopes - try some metamucil for those bricks.
AFM - had one of my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday. Have another date with the vampire today. So the follow up call tomorrow will determine my mood for the next week. I suspect that if my levels don't show a good improvement my ob will start looking deeper - or that's the impression his practice manager gave me last time!

    Hi ladies!

Dory - I am just so happy to hear your news! Congratulations babe on you BFP. This one's gonna be a sticky one! I know how hard it is to think positive at this time, but it's all up to the big man upstairs, it's not in our control. So try to just think of this little pea as your gorgeous little bub who is growing everyday and doing something new inside of you everyday. We'll all be here to help you through it! xxx

cookie - good luck with today's test. Hope the results are a pleasant surprise (gotta get this cycle of yours going again!!) And I hope your mouth isn't too sore. Ouch.

Ferrals - Abbi's feet are gorgeous. What a great way to remember her and share her with everyone. I hope that your holiday is going to create your BFP!! woot woot, get naughty girl!

Matthew's mum - my daughter asks lots of questions about the baby i lost in ectopic. I guess now that i think about it, i probably shouldn't have told her so soon. But I was showing already and was just excited. She still tells strangers in the shopping centre 'mummy has a baby in her belly' and I have to remind her that no, the baby went to heaven. When she sees another baby, she says, 'mummy you have a baby?'. I guess it's hard for them too isn't it?

mummyof4 - sounds promising! Have you vomited since? When are u testing?? Definately keep us updated!!

Gosh there are so many messages since I was last on about 2 days ago! I don't have time to go back through them all in response, i have to feed DD and we're going on a bike ride. So i'll have to catch up later.

AFM - still no AF. Normally i'm on a 28 day cycle which would have put her arrival at Monday just gone. Today's Thursday and she's still not here, but still BFN. I guess that I just O'd late, which kind sucks cos after my expected O time, i only really BD'd once or twice. My cervix has risen to ultra high as of yesterday... so I think I O'd REALLY late. I have to just wait it out. Either I'm pg and too early to show BFP, or I'm about a week away from AF arriving (which i feel is more likely). I might actually still be in the tww LOL. grrr this is frustrating.

Hope you're all having better luck!!! Talk soon

    DORY CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
Sweetheart I am sooo super happy for you!!!! Sending sticky vibes your wayXXXXX Sweetheart, I understand It is easy for me to say right now, but one thing I have learned, and has worked for me, is just allow yourself to be super excited and super happy during moments like this, be happy whenever you can, and save the sadness for when you have to be, you don't have to be right now. So many people have said to me "Don't get you hopes up during IVF it's a hard road" but If I actually listeden to them, I would be miserable and on edge all of the time waiting for something to go wrong. Instead I have had sooo many happy days, only stressed whem I have needed to, and have not come across a sad day yet, so nanana to them!!!! Please enjoy your happy moments Dory, I know I will be a bit of a stressball to if I get my BFP oneday, but please for all of us, enjoy what you have today, and worry about tomorrow if and only when you have too my friend. Once again comgratulations DORY!!!!!!!

I have had no phonecall about how our little embies are going, so hopefully no news is good news. TBH I think if they rang me now, I would freak, because the 1 phonecall I don't want is to let us know none made it. So please no phonecall from here on in

Dory - Super Congratulations for you BFP

MurrayCod - True - sometimes no news is a goodnews. Hey You know what - Its the start of the New Year - so its definitely going to be good and wonderful....Just Relax in the hotel, Eat healthy and think positive. Definitely this is your month.

Anita - Same here no sign or symptom of AF. I have tried all home tips but no result.
so, I want to my Doc yesterday, he was 2the point. he referred me for blood test - FSH, LH, Pitutary, Prolectin, urea, etc etc and said sometimes after miscarriage, pitutary i.e. brain gets confused and creates a hormonal imbalance which effects menstrual cycle, its not that your uterus is recovering, its just your hormones are either too high / or are not functioning simultaneously...thats why there is delayed ovulation or no menstrual Flow..I will get the results on Monday and then he said i will give you tablets to regulate the cycles and ovulation.
So, whenever you go a see your Obs on 26th - let them know about your delayed periods...i think sooner the better...i am facing this problem since my m/c (almost 5 months), and feels if i went to my doc earlier i would be better off with my cycles atleast....well, ITS NEVER TOO LATE.

Emmy - How are you darl xxx thinking of you, send the AF to me and Anita....

SPF - glad to know kitties r doing good. That's good that you dont need any OPK stuff to know when are you ovulating. Your body gives you the ovulation signals is great.
    My body only confuses me...
Mummyof4 - That seems promising, I am praying for you
Puked your breakfast.....hope you get all the signs that you are pregnant and that BFP.
Ciara.e - Hope AF stays away and you get the BFP this month.
T-hope - When are you testing my friend....All the best.
Cratymummy - How are you? All the best for Testing. i hope you get that

and too all i missed, i hope i have covered everyone...Hope everyone is doing fine and moving towards the goal of BFP.

    take care all
    Ric
