By clueless I mean not even knowing how far along they are, or not knowing until late in the piece because they "weren't really trying" or not bothering to sort out relationship issues, thinking that if the first baby didn't fix it, maybe the second one will. That kind of clueless.
I am having some crazy ovary tingling on my left side at the moment. Hoping it doesn't mean O-time, as would be earlier than expected and we BD'd on the weekend, a little too close for comfort!
HeHe Snugglybean youre a sweetheart!!

hi girls i suppose i need to join this thread now. went for my 12 week scan today and unfortunately the baby had not been growing for a while. have to go to doctors tomorrow and try and sort things out but am in shock over the whole thing
scarypinkfairy - I am so sorry for your loss, I can only begin to imagine how you must be feeling right now. I am so glad you have posted in this thread, the ladies here are just wonderfully supportive. We will be here for you as much as you need.
Scarypinkfairy-Sorry you've needed to use this thread,I also found out that my baby was gone at routine scan and found it hard to believe as didn't have any miscarriage symptoms.hugs
i didn't have any symptoms either. no bleeding anyway, but looking back i think something felt not quite right. but it's hard to know what is right as it was my first pregnancy, and everyone is different.
it has been hard telling the few close people that we knew that we have lost the baby. especially when we have no family here for support. it's good to talk to people on here, as people know exactly how we are feeling.
S.P.F my darling I'm so sorry to read of your loss.
RIP little Angel.
I can only assure you of that joining this thread you will receive love and support here.
You are in my prayers tonight.
Take care of your broken heart, we will all be here whenever you need us

AFM - Just cruising along, busy with work and wondering how this year can zoom by so fast.
Hope everyone is well!
Scarypinkfairy sorry for your loss you have definately come to the right place for all the support you need. Hopefully you can get everything sorted out at the docs and get back to TTC again real soon
Hello, I am new here, not really sure of much at the moment or where to turn to - which found me here on Sunday night. I miscarried yesterday so currenlty feeling very low & very sad, we were only 6 weeks, but we wanted bellybean so bad, we have been trying for 10 months & were over the moon to have gotten a positive result 1 1/2 weeks ago, only for us to come crashing down yesterday. I am 36 so am very concerned about all this. How long did everyone wait until they started trying again? Alx
morning everyone,Alx--Sorry for you loss, hope you find this forum helpful,I do.I started ttc straight away but everyone is different,my age is a factor as well but you do hear of older woman having babies so there is hope.
Scarypinkfairy and Alx - I'm so sorry to hear of your losses
I only have time for a quick post as I can hear DS stirring from his nap. I'm super frustrated right now as AF never really started on Friday when i thought she did. I've been spotting for 4 days and took another test today (another BFN) but still no AF. It's so annoying not knowing what the heck is up. Stop teasing me already and just get here aleady so we can try again LOL
Welcome, scarypinkfairy and Alx. I'm sorry that you had to join us, but I know you'll find loving support through your sadness right here.
We lost our bean at 12 weeks too. Ours was a molar pregnancy so we have to wait for 6 months before we can try again.
SPF - I know it's hard to tell people, but once you face it and go through with it, it's not so bad. For me, talking to my SIL who has a 6 month old for the first time was really hard, but I took a really deep breath, and called her, and it was OK, and afterwards I felt really strong. So you mgiht surprise yourself - you just might discover how strong you really are.
On the weekend I went to a wedding with some old friends. They're interstate so I don't see them much. None of them knew I was pg, but I sent them an email before the wedding, to let them know that we'd lost a baby - just so none of them would put their foot in it and give us the old "you're next" rubbish. It was something my counsellor suggested - let people know what you need, and they will always oblige. It has made things SO much easier.
Also, don't expect people to talk about it unless you bring it up first. It's not because anyone is ignoring what's happening; I think they want some reassurance from you that it's OK to talk about it.
welcome scarypinkfairy and alx. you are in the right place. the girls here are a god send and their support will help you in a way you didn't think possible. i am so sorry to hear of your loss.
scarypinkfairy - i just had my 12 wk scan and it was my biggest fear to turn up and find something wrong. i can't imagine how you must feel. i hope you can find good support and allow yourself time to grieve.
alx - i miscarried around the same time as you. i didn't have to have a d&c and the ob said i could start straight away. you need to start when you are ready. a m/c is such a shock. you will find so much support here.
a big hi to everyone else. i continue lurking and checking on you all.
afm - i have had a dodgy nuchal trans 12 wk scan so we have booked in for amnio for middle of october. i'm still in 2 minds about it all. far out, some of us have to fight a lot harder to get our end prize. its not fair. i am grateful to be pg, don't get me wrong. i treasure that everyday. apart from that huge worry i am feeling good.
stay strong girls. you have more strength than you know and your can't put a price on your support.
