megsmum - The bird was huge. It's beak was about 15cm long, and it's neck was almost twice that length. Unfortunately I got a call from work tonight and was told the bird went to birdie heaven. They couldn't find a wildlife carer that was able to take on a bird with a badly broken wing.

WTH - Shame the nurse couldn't help you more. Hopefully your other doctors are more available tomorrow!

Mollycat - I was told tonight by my SIL that I need new shoes, so while you're indulging in a bit of retail therapy it would be great if you could choose some new shoes for me
I still think you ovulated in CD15 and that you are illegible for the "p" off. But I totally understand if you want to wait a while longer to be sure.

Jenushka - I almost just cried a couple of ters of happiness for you myself! I hope that after your milestone you will feel totally relaxed and free to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy

DH doesn't usually work saturdays, but is going in to work tomorrow, so I'll have to make sure I POAS before he leaves so that I can give him the news


I'm feeling a bit better now after a nice Thai dinner out with the in-laws. Plus DH just brought me a banana fritter (with extra syrup!). My face is still sore and a bit swollen, but hopefully it's not infected and it'll go down soon. I'll get the vet to check it tomorrow and see if it's ok. I know it seems weird that I'll get the vet to check it, but the vet at work tomorrow is a human doctor as well. Crazy yeah?! At least then instead of me paying for a doctor consultation, I'll get paid for my consultation!

DH asked when I was going to test this month because he's sure I'm pregnant. Apparently he's got a really good feeling at the moment (how adorable is that?!). I told him that I'm going to test tomorrow, but it's still early. He said maybe I should wait until Monday, but I said I can't because we are having a competition in this thread. Then he asked what the prize was, so I said "a baby"
