    Hi girls

I just thought I would pop in quickly to say hi. Sorry I seemed to disappear off the face of the planet. I found a lump in my breast this week and after three trips to the :doctor: and an ultrasound it is benign cyst, most likely caused by a blocked milk duct because of the lactation begining after Harrison was born.... Big stress let me tell you. Just when I thought life couldn't get much worse!!! I did feel really down but now I realised that it could have been so much worse.

Please make sure you all do your home breast exams. Sometimes it is so easy to get caught up in TTC that we forget but trust me, after that scare I am going to do it religiously it frightened the living daylights out of me

I have joined theTTC after recurrent m/c and late loss thread also so I have a lot of catching up on where all you lovely ladies are at. Think I'll grab a cuppa and spend some time on here later and get to personals. Our next door neighbours are having a surprise 60th for one of their friends so DH and I have promised to help them set up....so better get to it

I hope that there are pleanty of and that everyone has lovely weekends

Hello, I've been lurking for a little while and I hope you don't mind if I join you in this thread. I'm at CD24 and I think I'm about to ovulate, finally! Lots of EW cm the past couple of days and my temperature jumped this morning. I was starting to think I was going to be having an anovulatory cycle because the latest I'd ovulated before m/c was CD17 and my shortest cycle prior to m/c was 24 days. So I'm pleased to see that temperature spike.

Looking forward to getting to know you all better and I hope you're having a good weekend. I'm writing reports so I'd better get back to them! hooroo!

    Default Weekend...yay!

    H girls,

just thought I'd pop in for a "quickie", look slike there been heaps happening in the last couple of days.

Hope- so thrilled at news from your scan. Congrats on your news and sending you heaps and heaps of and I hope you can enjoy you weekend and relax a little.

Lind - well done for taking that big step and facing work. As hard as it is, you should be so proud of yourself and lol at the 'farting teacher'.

Spring Angel - what a week you've had. I think you're right that we all need a reminder to do breast checks. What a reality check for us all. Sending you

As for me, been an interesting couple of days. Had a follow up with the dr yesterday and u/s to check there was not retained "product" (I hate that term). Came up all clean and clear but was quite depressing when the sonographer announced tha my uterus looked so clear you'd never know I'd been pg. Well... if that wasn't just what we needed to hear.. what a wench. Sorry ... just venting!
So the good news is that we'll be back "on the horse" shortly and looking for a BFP.

Time to go vote and make my contribution to the nation, so hope you all have great w'ends.

    Hi girls,
Spring angel- so glad that your doctor worked out what the lump was.. what a horrible experience to go through.
Kerry- Yay on you O'ing.. hope you can get lots of BD happening in between reports. I'm in the same situation, tying to get them done this weekend but my mind is elsewhere and I just don't have the brain power to do them.. They're due friday and we're on school camp Tues-Fri so i think i'll be writing reports when we are doing the evening activities on camp (videos, games etc). I'm trying to work out a way i can discretely keep temping whilst i'm away, its only 3 mornings but i rally want to stay on track and see how things go this month compared to last month.
if anyone has any ideas it'd be really helpful, other than smothering the thermometer with a pillow to stop the beeping!
Susie- good on you for getting back on the horse.. maybe we can all jump on our 'noble steeds' (had to throw the shrek quote in there!!)and ride off into the sunset with our BFPs!

Good morning, just about to head out to walk the dog, and then I'm heading to the Central Coast today for lunch with DP. Can't really afford the time but I need the break. Temperature dropped again this morning but the OPKs that I did yesterday are getting darker. Hopefully will see a positive tonight.
Thanks Lind, the beeps are tricky to disguise! A few months back before I was pg, I went on a shopping trip fundraiser with a few of the teachers from school and shared a room - I snuggled right down in my bed and hoped pillow and blankets would muffle the noise. Nothing was said about the beeps but then I think my room mate may have had a few more to drink than I did, lol. Good luck, there. My temperatures have been very erratic since m/c. I'll put my chart in my sig. I had a week off at the start of term and the kids were pleased to see me return too, apparently one of the casuals was a shouter.
Spring Angel, so glad that your lump was not serious, but what a fright  I have regular checks because of cysts, one's pea sized, and yearly pap smears because of an irregular result about six years ago. Yes, you're so right. We all need to take care.
Hope you had fun at the wedding, Megan, and Suzie, that sonographer should have been a lot more tactful  - at my last check-up the sonographer was like a robot and barely said a word, certainly didn't let me see the screen, and told me that the radiographer would look at the scans and the results would be sent to my doctor.
Back later this afternoon. Love and hugs.

    Morning Girls....

Belinda - Welcome hunny, but i'm so very very sorry to hear of your loss. You've come to the right place and we're all here for you, so if you need to chat or just want to vent, then go for you life. Big hugs to you sweets....xxxx

Kerry - Welcome to you too and I'm sorry for your loss also. Fingers crossed that you get the big O soon and you BD away to catch that eggie...good luck..xxx

Spring Angel - What a scare. I'm so glad that everything turned out fine, but i bet you were absolutely terrified....a lesson to us all though...

Susie - Don't you just hate it when some people have no tact whatsoever....go jump that trusty steed of yours hehehe...xxx

Lind - good luck on camp and about the temping 'beep'..i have no idea...lol..maybe you could just say that your Dr wants you to take your temp every morning, coz your body temp is all over the place and you have to keep a diary of things that happen during the day and see if certain things set off a temp rise ie. stress.....i don't know, i'm only clutching at straws...maybe the head under the doona will do the trick..hehe...good luck with it though, and let us know what you ended up doing...

Megan - hope you had fun at the wedding...xxx

Big hi's and hugs to everyone else, and hope you are all enjoying your weekend....xxx

Well DH and I had a nice afternoon/evening last night. We headed into the city and went and checked out Sexpo. We watched this 'show' ( i guess you could call it a show) that showcased these costumes that you could get...and OMG...they were crap. They could have at least got people who could actually move and whoever did the choreography should be shot. Just terrible. I actually thought we were sitting down to watch the Male Strippers, but i had on my good watch and hadn't changed the time from Daylight savings (DH forgot to put his watch on), so in the long run, i think DH was happy that i had mixed up the times..lol

Anyway, after Sexpo, we headed over to Crown, had some dinner, had a bit of a flutter, then went for a drive down to St Kilda for a bit of a look around etc before heading home - grabbing some movies on the way - and cuddling up on the couch to watch Pirates of the Carribean 2. Don't ask me how it ends though coz i fell asleep...hehe...but we had a lovely day, so i can't complain....

Hi girls, hope you are all having a lovely sunday. DH worked night shift last night and arrived home at 8am so i'm trying to tip-toe around the house until he gets up!

i just wanted to pick your brains and see what your doctors have told you..
I had my m/c a week ago and have the follow-up bt tomorrow. I'm really keen to get straight into it and start TTC straight away. Is it too soon to start trying?? I have read conflicting reports on the 'net, some says you can fall pg 2 weeks after and others say that you should wait up to 6 months. I guess it depends on my hcg levels but my doctor said she expects them to be back at zero by then anyway.. I don't want to have to go through another m/c but I want to be proactive at the same time.
What do you think??/What advice have your doctors given you??

Also- on the thermometer thing, i have found a way, well, i have trialled it twice.. because I temp vaginally (orally, my temps were all over the place and i kept having a gag reflex!) I can skwoosh the termometer with my legs (basically cross them) and you don't hear a thing. (or I am going deaf!) i'll keep pefecting it until i go to camp!

Shan- thats a great idea about telling them that i have to temp because the dr wants me to keep an eye on things.. i hadn't thought of that. Thanks

Well, better keep trying to do quiet housework, pop back this arvo.

    xxx

    Hi girls,

Gee it has been busy in here all right.
Well the dreaded witch turned up this morning!!!! So not feeling too good am in pain and feeling sick. It is only light at the moment which is strange because with the pain i have i usually only get when its heavy so i'm just hoping it doesn't hit with a vengeance.

So as us ttc girls in 1-6 mnths say: "Bring on Dazzling December" and from the first of december we are going to start singing: "All i want for christmas is my two pink lines"

    Catcha later.
i put my angels in as soon as i knew that this cycle was not the one.

    Hi

Kristee, I'm sorry that af has reared her ugly head and that she's causing you pain. I hope she gets her thing over and done with real fast for you and wishing you all the best for this cycle.

Lind, When I had my m/c in december the dr at the hospital told us to wait atleast 3 months b4 ttc again. When I saw my gp 3 weeks later she told us we could start ttc as sooon as we were ready, so needless to say we got straight back to it. My gp had a m/c and she fell preg that month and went on to have a healthy baby boy. So I guess its 100% up to you. But I would ask your own dr just incase you circumstances are different. Good luck with your appointment tomorrow.

As for me I went and had a b/t on Friday as my specialist rang to find out what my hpt results were and when I told her negative she told me to get a b/t done.So I find out tomorrow the results. So far still no sign of af for me so I have my fingers crossed its a bfp. As soon as I know the results I will let you all know.

I will do more personals tomorrow. Hope you all have had a great weekend.

Yes, fingers crossed for you, Mako!! Hope those bt results come back BFP!!
Lind, my doctor suggested I wait until after my first period following my m/c, which arrived on CD17 and was like a normal period. My bt results on November 8 showed hCG had dropped to 11 and my doctor said I could start TTC again as soon as I liked, if I felt emotionally ready to do so. Still hoping to see a positive on an OPK stick! Maybe tomorrow. although I wouldn't be surprised either if af turned up in the next couple of days, despite lots of ew cm. I'm feeling quite bloated and my temperatures are wacky.
I love your Christmas chant, Kristee! Sorry AF has arrived. Next month!!
How are you going, Belinda? Thinking of you.
Shan, after the excitement of going to Sexpo I'm surprised you fell asleep on the couch watching Pirates of the Caribbean 2! lol Sounds like you had a great day though!
Well, I had an excellent break from reporting with my lunch date but now I think I'm going to be up until midnight. Ha! worth it though!
    to everyone else!

Morning Lisa - a small amount of blood streaking mid-cycle can be an indication of ovulation. Woooo hoooo!!! This is a good sign. Now ..... have you made the most of the weekend
