TTC after Miscarriage or Loss ~ February 08 #2

Hi all,
im having a really sad day today. it seems every single female i come into contact with is pregnant! even on TV! i was watching the Oscars - well, everyone there was pregnant, and so i switched to desperate housewives and they are all pregnant too! i cant escape...DH doenst understand why im stilll sad..wants to fix it and im trying to explain to him that this is not something he can just "fix".
Im in my TWW but not feeling very positive. Last time i was pregnant, i started to get symptoms, but i have nothing this time
Im so desperate for this to happen...

Angel, Jo and Katiegirl! 4 days and counting (3 now guess) Tina, got everything crossed for you too- keep your chin up lady I have become obsessed with every pregnant woman I encounter and totally sympathise with mixed feelings (happy for them but jealous and ungracious too)

Well, I know I should be on cloud 9 but I have to confess that I'm actually feeling very anxious. I have absolutely NO pg symptoms. The only evidence I have is the 3 POAS that I've kept. Doc's on Thursday, who will probably tell me not to worry, but I think I'm about 6 weeks and last time (before m/c) my boobs were really tender and I felt really nauseous. This time..nothing. I'm terrified of a missed m/c even though I know I am blowing things out of proprtion I just can't help being so neurotic. Aaah! Spend all this time fretting about o, af and pg....and then spend the next 8 months fretting about every twinge or 'missing symptom'. When does life become 'enjoyable' again? LOL

Ohhh GIrl I sooooo understand.... Everything is becoming a damn symptom. I got home from work today and went upstairs, couldnt handle the unorganised state of my walk in robe, ensuite or bedroom. So what do I do...... Re arrange the whole lot..... Only just finished....6 hours worth (is this normal for me...hell no) In my head I was just fed up with how messy and unorganised it was. Come down stairs DH (who by the way is sitting on his laptop playing a computer game the whole time).... I explain to him that it has all been re arranged... bed, cupboards everthing.... moved..... He looks at me and says... sounds like some one is getting organised for something...... All of a sudden I m sitting there thinking.... Am I Nesting?

So I cant even clean a damn room without wondering if I m Nesting. Every twing I have in my stomach...... Ohhhhh is that......... Or is it Gas? Its enough to send a sane person insane..... Lucky I already am insane (only 2 types of people in this world, those that are insane and those that havent been diagnosed YET)

I also have a change in CM and next thing I know I m googling CM... What does it mean.....blah blah blah.

Oh the world has gone a little crazy........ Lucky we can cope hey!

Bit ironic that your doctors appointment is on Thursday your time.... I test Friday my time first thing..... So its the same "time" that we are both waiting on.

Ok well I m going to throw around some more baby vibes.... for everyone

Yes, i must confess, i have also joined the 'everything is a symptom' club. I have been feeling a tiny bit nauseas.......Even before i O'd, so defo cannot be due to pg!!
Tina, you are the same CD as me, but I have a 32 day cycle, so have a little longer to wait before POAS. Don't feel too disheartened about lack of symptoms. last time I was pg, I only had symptoms for about 4 days before POAS, and every pregnancy is different..
... Same goes for you, Nickster. I know, I know, it is soooo hard to believe that everything will be OK, but no symptoms is not a sure fire indicator of doom and gloom. It was slightly reassuring to hear that I am not the only one who kept her pos POAS's. Sending you lots of sticky vibes (but there is a pop up blocker on this computer so cant use emoticon, sorry!)
Laura, well done on finally having your BT done!
Betty, hope your lap date is soon.

Katie, your temps sound as though they are behaving themselves nicely. Got my fingers crossed for you and AngelB- Will you two be the first to POAS, or is there anyone ready to test in the next couple of days?

Hi Everyone - thanks for the good luck messages. I think though that AF is on the way as my temp took another drop this morning - once again only by a point - so started at 36.7 and now down to 36.5. So not holding out any hope. If AF has not arrived in 5 or so days then I will POAS.

Saw my naturopath yesterday and she has put me on Vitex to help with my cycle and progesterone levels. I get upset thinking I might now have issues with my cycle - as this has never been something I thought was a problem. We conceived Nathaniel on our first cycle (and not really trying either) so I just assumed it would be easy again - so I am so scared I will get told I now have some sort of deficiency or something that did not exist before the MC. And she told me that it is common to take 6 months to conceive - I felt like telling her that I don't want to wait 6 months... I am trying to do positive thinking though and finding the positive side in taking 6 months - though it is hard. Is anyone else taking Vitex?

Hi to all

I have been on such a positive the last few days. I've got over my car being crashed into, with only a little bit of pain left in my arm, so at least it's almost better, insurance is covering my car seats and prams and i'm still waiting to hear about the car being repaired (i hope it doesn't take too long) and I am finally off my "green p's" (ok i'm a late starter, didn't get my "L's" until I was in my 30's)

We received approval yesterday for our extensions, now we have to wait on the builder but by mid year we should have a bigger house, then i get the fun job of choosing paint colours, tiles, etc, etc. My mother was put in hospital about ten days ago, and ended up having a small stroke, she is still not great but at least she is now home so hopefully on the mend.

I'm feeling really cheesed off at my SIL, my mother just informed me that SIL is 21weeks pg. it's so typical that they keep this secret. She was asked at christmas time and said she wasn't. This will be baby number 11 (the eldest is 24). It's just ironic that if i hadn't m/c we would be 22weeks now and wouldn't bother me at all. I just told DH who couldn't really understand how i felt, and told me not to worry about it. I'm feeling a lot better about the client who is due when our baby would have been, but the other client i still need to get my head around, her 5yo, told me today that mum was having another baby, I just commented that was lovely. What else can you do?

Well now I know why I was frantically cleaning last night...... Phsycic..... unwanted visitor..... Aunty Flow!

She raised her ugly head. Which puts me on a rediculous 25 day cycle.

I dont feel to bad....little peeved but other than that under control. Mind you later tonight I might end up going upstairs and throwing a few things around.

There are so many things up in the air at the moment. I dont know what our next step is or even if there is one.

Now for everyone else on 2WW..... for every NO we are a step closer to a YES..... soooo my NO puts us closer to maybe YOUR YES. Funny how I m so excited for everyone in here when they get a positive, it cheers me up no end. Hopefully someone will post some really good news to make up for mine.
