TTC after Miscarriage or Loss ~ October 07

Hi everybody. Just another quickie from me, not in the most sociable mood ATM. Well AF is at least 1 day late, but alas no BFP for me. Pretty sure she was due yesterday, so I tested today. At the moment she still hasnt shown her face despite getting heaps of ewcm earlier in the week, so unfortunately my wait continues. AF will probably arrive the next day or so, but if not, I'll test again Mondayish. I guess there's a small possibility that I O'd late, but Im thinking it's probably just a longer than usual cycle. Either way, should know soon. Hope you're all great. Sorry about lack of personals. I'll pop back in over the weekend...

Thank you for lovely reply butterflywarrior it does sound like we had very similar experiences - i think with a missed mc you are blissfully thinking things are fine and don't have a worry in the world and actually look forward to a scan - so I am sure scans will be a little different in the future.
you said you had a reason for your mc - i was told it was just one of those things and probably a chromosome problem with the baby..

STARRYSKY & bunny'smum Hello to you both - I too had my mc in august - 8/8/07 (told of my missed mc) & later had a d&c - I was 9 weeks. So hello and I hope you are both feeling better each day.

Wowzer - Hello there - Yes I agree our cycles are a little different after mc - after my d& c my 1st AF was exactly 28 days and now my 2nd AF started about 32 or 33 days - before mc I was around 26 or 27 days. Most of the advice I am getting is not to worry and try to temp and check CM for fertility signs if your cycle is a bit haywire.

AnnaBelle, they told me the same thing. ButI have a weird, unidentifiable arthritis condition, which always worries me, especially knowing that autoimmune conditions can be responsible for miscarriages. Despite having two specialists and my GP assure me it wouldn't be a problem, it just niggled at my mind too much. We sought out a reproductive immunologist and had all sorts of tests run, which do indicate that I have an autoimmune condition thing happening. It's probably not enough to cause problems on its own, but when combined with my PCOS, it's just not worth taking the risk again. I was actually on both medications used to treat me this time around, but at the time of the miscarriage, I wasn't on enough of either of them. I'll be taking higher doses for longer this time, and keeping my fingers crossed and praying heaps that it will all work out. I think in most cases, it probably does come down to a random chromosome problem, but I've got too many other health problems to be able to let things go at "just one of those things".
