    Morning all

Just wanted to give a quick to Dee and Teagz for their first day back at work today. I hope you get through it ok.

Teagz, apart from giving your body time to heal, OBs like you to wait for AF so they can calculate next pg dates correctly. Then obviously waiting for test results is very important. If you caught a swimmer, then I wish with all my heart you get your BFP and all goes beautifully next time.

CD 21 for me today. I stopped spotting yesterday morning only to have the biggest bleed after BD last night. Aaaaaggggrrr.

Teagz, the OBs we met with after losing Beiron all said that it was okay for us to start TTC again as soon as the infection risk from the D&C was over, and that all the recommendations out there to wait 1-3 cycles or whatever were myths doctors perpetuated in order to try to "help" with the emotional healing. Aside from, as Diane says, waiting for the first AF gives you a date to count the pregnancy from. But they were very clear on saying that my body wouldn't get pregnant again before it was ready and that info out there about how you have an increased m/c risk if you don't wait X months was just false.

    Hey girls
All this TTC talk takes me back...I got some good news this morning from a good friend of mine that I met at Sids & Kids. She got a BFP this morning She lost her angel last April after her placenta stopped growing at about 32 weeks and had an early m/c late last year so hopefully it will be 3rd time lucky for her. She turns 35 in May - thought you might like some more inspiration to keep up the BDing!

Paula - I was actually checking out your chart yesterday wondering if you had o'd already as the temps were up that little bit but todays hike is a bigger jump so I think I will have say yesterday was the day but it will be interesting to see what ff thinks after you enter a few more days worth of temps. I know with the last chart I did it took about 4 days to get it right (and it did cause my pg dates all match perfectly to that chart).

Diana - good luck with the IVF decision. Must be a hard road to go down. That bleeding after BDing doesn't sound good - you were getting that early on after the birth and D&C's weren't you? Your poor cervix

Teagz - I have heard of women getting pg on their 1st cycles and having no problems. I guess the biggest thing would be finding out what went wrong last time (if they can find anything) so you can hopefully do something to avoid it this time around. After I lost Luke I was told to wait 2-3 cycles but I think some of that advice from my ob was more due to emotional reasons rather than physical. I didn't have to wait for any testing or results either as we knew pretty much straight away what had gone wrong and we did not bother with a PM.

Beata - good luck with the surgery. I shared a room when I was first on bedrest in the hospital with a woman who had had a hysterectomy through the abdomen due to massive fibroids and she said the pain wasn't too bad. She was only in for about 4 days which seemed pretty good considering she had had such major surgery! Not sure if that will compare at all to you but thought I would share anyway

Nothing new to report from me which is a good thing! I had a bad night on Sat night with terrible bowel pain which kept me up for a couple of hours and almost had me ringing the hospital in case it wasn't bowel related but it finally resolved itself and I have been fine since. Was bound to happen after 3 weeks of antibiotics and bland hospital food and now suddenly I am having real food again and no AB's and I think my system has gone WTF?? I see my ob again on Friday and have another scan then too so fingers crossed my resting at home is having a positive effect on my naughty cervix. Oh and very excited to say I am 25 weeks today!!! YAY!

Sending big hugs and hello's to all of you that I missed x

Congratulations on 25 weeks Jo! I could never distinguish between bowel and pregnancy pains, it's frightening isn't it? I am glad to hear that you are feeling much better now. Bring on Friday!

Yep, I was getting the big bleeds before but haven't had that for a while until last night. Back to spotting today I have an appt with the clinic tomorrow so will see if I can get in to see him and find out what the hell is going on - am so over it.

    Big hugs to all.

Thanks for all your info girls
I'm having an internal battle with myself at the moment. I want my body to be properly "healed" before we try again, but then I think -well it had been three weeks before we even started having sex again after the D&C so surely that's long enough, and then my want for a baby overrides the lot and I'm back to point dot

have'nt been on because i ended up working the whole weekend and its safe to say that i am not functioning properly now because i am so tired! no news on TTC for us yet but i will be ringing my psychic today to make an appoint ment. i hope she has'nt gone away these hols as i really want to see her!i also after work put together our new study furniture which has left a giant blister on my palm so i don't think that helped the tiredness issue. poor Dh was up for it but i could'nt be bothered by the time i got to bed! lol!

Teagz, It's out of your hands now so try not to worry to much until you know what the outcome is. If you caught your little egg then hopefully all will go fabulously, and if you don't, at least you will get a proper AF then there is nothing stopping you!

Oh Teagz, how funny, there are 2 cars in my complex - one is BFP and one is BFN - NO JOKE! I never turn my head where that car is parked but I walk past the BFP one and always give it a little good luck rub

Hi Jo, it's not you, BB has been down all arvo. Hope you get to see your psychic soon and join the many TTC-ers in here lately! Big hug to your blister so it heals soon and try to get a good nights sleep.

Off home now, will try check in a little later.

    Lots of love
    Diana
