Hi all, finally some time to myself. DH has taken DD up to the milkbar to get milk. It only took them almost an hour to get organised to go! He lets her fluff around. At least I don't have to get her dressed today
Beata, it is freezing isn't it? Not sure what I'm going to do today. Too cold for watching DH umpire but I hate being home with just DD on the weekends at the moment.
Hope your DH's police check comes through in time. Must be hard waiting since you can't do anything about it!
Cheryl, I hope AF sorts herself out soon. Good for you about the eating plan. I think it will really help. I've been eating obscenely well since Luca died to try and avoid the same complications in another pregnancy. It hasn't helped me get pregnant yet and I'll have to wait a long time to find out it it helps avoid the complications, but it's at least something we have control over and it's so great to be doing something positive. About the motivation to exercise, it is totally understandable that you are struggling. Grief is exhausting. I have no energy these days. I was doing orienteering (run for 40 minutes) once a week because it is scheduled IYKWIM. I never have the motivation to just go out for a run.
Berry, sounds like the AP went well. Hope it helps very soon.
Dee, I am heartbroken for you and have been thinking about you a lot. Hang onto hope.
TM, it's so hard to miss a month on purpose but that sounds very very sensible. Hope to see you here next month if you want to chat.
AFM, I'm spotting still. Expect AF tomorrow, but I always hope until she actually turns up. I feel like getting plastered if I'm not pg. I never drink to get drunk but I've been thinking that the last few days! Haven't had alcohol since I got pregnant with Luca this time last year so maybe I will have a drink.
Went to a friend at work's maternity farewell afternoon tea yesterday. I'm on leave from work so I just popped in. I didn't break down in public thank goodness. It was really hard though. We have the same boss so when he was giving his farewell speech it was like de ja vu. He was giving mine in December. And I know he would have said much the same for me 'good luck with the birth. We're looking forward to seeing the baby. Enjoy your time off'. But the good luck didn't happen. I never got to show off my baby. And I haven't enjoyed my time off.
