i just cannot fathom spending anything on one day, when we are at the beginning of our "lives together" and any amount that would be spend on a wedding would save at least that in mortgage repayments, IYKWIM??

Cailin, i LOVE your idea - that scene from labyrinth is so beautiful - and i think if Df and i hit the mortgage hard we can have our place paid off in 10 years - then i would love to do soemthing like that for our 10 year anniversary!! (copy cat here, so totally going to suggest that to DF)
