hahahahah leash!!! wear thongs!!!!! If i could have my dream wedding i'd be in a bloody flanno with thongs in my back yard eating snags and a beer hahaahahhHAHAHAHAAHAHHA yes i am a bogan... but dont worry I have ALL my teeth and hair haha
I wore thongs to my wedding!! They weren't your everyday rubber thongs, they were white and had thin straps just like thongs. I desperately wanted to wear my Jimmy Choo stiletos but I ended up marrying a man only an inch taller than me and I didn't want to be leaning down for a kiss on our wedding day!
Nobody even saw my shoes so it didn't make a difference. The main thing was that I was comfortable!
It's your day so you get to choose what you wear! If you want to wear thongs then go for it - the main thing is that you are comfortable and that you enjoy yourself.
I would go with what evers comfortable... Plus it standerd dress in Queensland anyhow ( well it is for me that or barefeet )
I too have some shoes ( thongs if you want to borrow ) they are white with jewels on them size 7, well I will be up there before then anyhow so you could have a look see if you wanta...
I had thongs for my wedding......pink havaianas and i dressed them up with some swarovski crystals so they sparkled!! My bridesmaids all had mint green ones with swarovskis on and they looked awesome!! Go for it! If you are not comfy you wont enjoy the day...I wore high heels down the aisle but as soon as the cermony was over I swapped shoes...... I think it cost me about $20 to decorate the thongs with genuine swarovskis right down both straps, add about $20 for the thongs so $40 tops finished!! cheaps as chips!
Congratulations!!! Yes you can wear thongs. I wore thongs, pretty white ones. I had the ceremony on the beach and reception on a cruise boat. There was no way I was wearing high heels.
my wedding pic complete with "thongs" - comfortable and something I could wear afterwards (unlike the dress which is now TOO big for me and will have to be re-designed)
I am not a fan of thongs anywhere (perhaps cos i can't walk in them) but i agree with the others, wear whatever you like!
I had a 'nice' pair of flat sandals that lasted a very short time, before i got back into my comfy converse all stars! I had bought a bone pair (cos its almost white) but with the big dress no-one noticed anyway, and i wanted to still be walking at the end of the night.
We do have a couple of pics with the 'connies' peeking out of the dress and i love them. So me.
