Amy I hope your wee Declan is much better
Great piccies of Alexa Mitch I can't believe she is in 000's
Well as for us we are all over our sickness, my period came better late than never (mind you I was kinda secretly hoping it wouldn't but DH would have died)
Declan did a few proper crawling steps today instead of his usual lunging routine speaking of which my poor little monkey is in the wars he was doing is luinging version of crawling and hit his cheek bone on the half (the thing under the fire place) poor baby has a black eye, I felt so bad one minute he was sitting on his pooh bear blankie playing happy with his toys I took a plate out to the kitchen turned around just in time to see it happen and the tears flew not just from dj.
I will have to update declans piccies sometime I will post one of his poor lil eye! I have a cute one of him playing with curling ribbon and if I can get my scanner to work Ill put up his pic with santa but I have been having lots of trouble with the scanner lately so I might not be able too!
wow, hard to concentrate on other posts Shell, woohoo, congrats well done !!!
And hope Holly is feeling better soon
Not much else happening around here at the moment bar him loving his flying time, I now do a countdown and shake him a little before blast off. The smile as soon as I go 5-4.... is HUGE
yeah SHazz since Nixon's top tooth has come through he has started grinding it, i hate him doing it but cant really stop him from doing it! unless u have a way to stop Ryan?
Ok Shell I know where your AF has gone. She showed up at my place. So no more waiting around for the PPAF.
For those of you that have had her visit was she back to normal for you first cycle and were you back to normal length of in between. Sorry for the TMI.
Way to go Charlie!! Amy- my cycles have been a little longer then what they used to be, i use to go 28-30 and so far i have gone in between 30-36 (think i have had 3 so far)
Josiah decided to surprise us with a few 'firsts' today...
1. I went in to him this morning & he was sitting up in his cot - which he kept doing everytime I put him down during the day
2. He CRAWLED!!! I was so excited. My brother came home from work and said hi to Josiah & asked him what he did today. Josiah was smiling at him and my brother said 'did you crawl today?' to which Josiah got on all fours and crawled to him! It was so bizarre - his first crawl pretty much on demand
3. He said 'hello' to his dad. He doesn't say any other words, but I went outside with Josiah to see what Mark was doing & Josiah said 'Hello' & waved!
4. He also waved at my brother when he said goodbye which was quite funny because Josiah was on all fours at the time & kept toppling over trying to wave with one hand.
Congratulations to all the other milestones today. Oh & Shazz, & nickers, Josiah grinds his teeth too - it sounds horrible.
Amy - AF has returned with a vengance here. My first PPAF finished a week and a half ago & has already come to visit again. It's so much heavier than normal too. I think its off to the doc for a stronger pill for me!
Anyway, better get off to bed or else I'm going to have totally wasted my sleep in this morning.
Shell, Nickers & shazz - yuck on the teeth grinding!
Is Abs on holiday????
Well charlie had the worst night ever! - he was up neartly all the time i couldn't put him down - I am so tired!!! - I think gav is comeing home today - which is great coz i'd really like a break!
Shaz - had you of asked yesterday morning I would have been in that group lol. Turns out that if you get AF showing up while bfing it actually changes the taste of your milk, Hmmm that would explain why Declan has been fussing with feeds.
Well we saw the midwife at the Chemist today to get Declan weighed. He is 7.88kg atm would have got him measured etc but she had a broken thumb so will have to wait another fortnight. Need to take him back to get weighed again as he's slipped down to being in the 25th percentile (he was normally between the 75th-90th), but she said that it can take a few months for bubs to be sorted out after having gastro, so will have to wait and see.
Jen's AF has been back quite a few times - timing has been varied but that was her beforehand anyway
Happy 8 months Charlie - and certainly hope your dad is coming home today
Bugger on the measurements Amy
We were supposed to be going to PG this arvo but Jen had her accountant here at 12, took heaps longer than planned... we then had lunch, so trying to get out the door at 2pm was impossible. She has also had over $1000 worth of ad's to put up in the next 24hrs come in today - that was after a similar amount yesterday... this is normally a quiet time of year for her business. We also have someone else popping in at 4pm... No way did she have time to go out and "socialise"
We are also querying about sending Jordy to the daycare centre we were due to start at tomorrow... that's now been delayed to look again in February. One of the girls from the PG popped in yesterday - was walking past and Jen saw her, so called her in. She knows of another daycare centre a few blocks away that is opening mid-late January - her daughter and at least one other from the PG is booked into there as well. They can fit Jordy in for 2 days a week - unfortunately no room on Thursday though - Tuesday and Thursday suit us best
