    Hi girls,

Well I have been pretty busy lately with prac, work and an assignment. NOt to mention Lil to look after and our house, not that that is getting much looking after lately .Our place is a mess! I have been feeling a bit off the last few days too, I think it's just from doing too much. I have been so tired and headachey, just really off, but not anything in particular. Lil has been good for the most part, though last night she woke four times, the night before three, and for an hour at 4am. She's going to bed at 9 but still waking at 6am, I have no idea why, I don't hink her teeth are bothering her too much, maybe she's unsettled with me being at work now??

Mel, sorry to hear you and olivia are sick. I hope you both feel better soon.

Kaz, great to see you back. I hope you had a marvellous wedding day and honeymoon!! We're all waiting for piccies you know??
I hope Pip is batter for you tonight. Maybe it's a wonder week now for our bubs?

Jen, Oooh how eaciting on moving!! DH and I have toyed with moving up or down the coast. We probably will one day, though not just yet. I'm a city girl too, but I think I'd enjoy a slower kind of life. Do you have any ideas where yet?

Kristie, I hope you had a great time away. I hope the weather and the boys behaved for you!!

Ok gotta go and put my monkey to bed.

    Good Morning!
Kaz - Thats great you guys had a great time! LOL at missing the dog more!!! We are thinking around Umina maybe? I havnt been up there for ages but DH is from there so.....? I want walking distance to the beach - if i am giving up cafes.....He knows I am the one to convince IYKWIM. I need to learn to drive too!
Mel - Thats no good Olivia is still sick (and you!)...when I need to give Beau panadol or something I give him an object he isnt allowed usually to distract him (sort of) like my mobile, a pen etc....
Kel- you sound busy! I think all our bubbas are going thru the same thing with the wake ups - B did it the other day when I was working and i tried to convince DH it was cause he missed me too! I think a move for us was always on the cards - we cant have another bubba living here and we cant afford a bigger house in the city. More space to decorate - yeah!!! I will just have to shop online....
Us - Beau is doing the one hour later wake ups at the moment, but he goes down pretty early so its not to painful or late thank god. I went to a sale yesterday and plopped him on the ground and he loved watching all the women shop...too funny. He still has a red bum and his poos are WRONG!!! I think i am going to give him super bland stuff for a while - that said we shared a lemonade icy pole yesterday and he loved it and held the last little bit by the stick!
    Ok bye x

    Hi!

We had a great weekend at Phillip Island - the kids loved it! Dh and I even managed to get a bit of a surf in on the Sunday while our family was on the beach watching the kids! (not that I can surf but I had fun!)

Jen - Wow at moving up the coast - sounds great!!! It's always scary moving out of your comfort zone but I'm sure you'd love it! Oh no - poor Beau with the ham...How cute of you guys sharing a icypole! Awwww.

Kaz - I'm so glad you had a great time!!! Gosh - I'm so looking forward to our anniversary in May - we're heading away for a weekend just the 2 of us - well, at the moment I'm only convinced I'll handle 1 night away from the boys but 2 would probably do us good!
Sorry to hear Pip was so unsettled last night...I hope you all get a better sleep tonight!

Melissa - I'm soo sorry to hear you guys are so sick - I hope you both get better very soon!! It's a nightmare giving babies medicine - although Louis now loves it and sucks it out of the little syringe! Crazy kid - LOL!

Kel - Make sure you get plenty of rest!!!! You sound super busy so just make sure you take it easy!!! And definitely don't worry about the housework (gosh, you want to see my place - LOL!)

Ok - got to run - stacks to do and I can't seem to get off the computer - LOL! Chat later!

Finally I am feeling better, yay, although my throat is very raw still. olivia has her final dose of the steroid today and even shes looking good. We are off to the paediatrician today coz the health nurse had concerns that her head was growing a lot faster than the rest of her and also something with her feet. Shes finally cut those top teeth and is now grinding...eeewww. Am having a lot of difficulty cleaning her teeth coz ever since she had to take those meds, she wont let me in there without good reason and teeth cleaning is not!!! For the meds I had to lay her down, pin her arms to her chest, wait for her to cry (open mouth) stick in meds and then straight away dummy. Its was the only way I could do it. She was spitting it out, thrashing about and we werent getting anywhere. I needed an extra hand most of the time, but DF was at work so I mastered it on my own!!!

Enough of me!!! Kaz wb, how was the wedding and honey moon???? Only 8 weeks til ours....

Kel, hows the pregnancy going?? Sounds like you're doing too much. Dont worry about the housework, get some rest.

Jen, hows b's bum going, has the food made any difference? Is he getting more teeth?? I definately would require substitution for cafes, however in saying that, I did the complete opposite, I moved from St.kilda...beach and cafes to springvale south...have to drive EVERYWHERE. It was a big compromise on my behalf...this or moving further out into the middle of suberbia.

Kristie- those boys keeping you busy??? Good to hear you had a nice weekend away and you'll be fine in May for your anniversary.

Hello to everyone else...sorry you are all on the other page and Olivia is having issues with daddys speaker wire. I cant believe he still hasnt fixed stuff up....oh well I just say to her 'be careful chewing on daddys cds, and try not to wreck his ampliphier(sp)...daddy will fix it some day!!!!!

    Got to run,

    Take care

    Love Melissa

    Hi!

Wow - it's quiet in here!!!

We're all well...Kids are good. The boys had swimming yesterday which was fun and Louis had kinder today. Dylans pointing all the time now and gets so excited. I'm not sure if I wrote but he say "Uh-oh" now and Mum allll the time. He also plays with the dinosars and says "roar". He was outside with Louis this arvo and dh peeked out the window and he took 4 steps on his own for no good reason (us not prompting him) So not long until he's walking I don't think...He's such a gorgeous boy...

Melissa - So glad to hear your starting to feel better. You poor thing having to give Olivia medicine like that - well done for getting it done on your own though!! It's amazing what we're capable of when we have to do something - lOL! Maybe just give her the toothbrush to munch on until she gets used of it again. It's better than nothing anyway. Hope the visit to the paed is ok...

I would love to catch up - just a matter of picking a time I suppose! We should get in before Kaz head back to work!? Mondays and Fridays are good for me through the week, otherwise let me know if you'd prefer a weekend...

Hi all, just a quick pop in to say "hello"...things are flat out here ATM....moving next week & DH has broken a bone in his foot **screams**. So I have been flat out, not to mention crook as for the past week - almost had a melt down yesterday but a bath helped.

Kaz...any wedding pics uploaded yet?? Can't wait to see some - hope it was everything you wished for.

Not much new here, Charlie has 10teeth, still hasn't stopped growing & it's just so tall. He stands up a bit on his own now & is into everything. He has also just hit a real clingy stage & cries when he can't see me or crawls down the hall crying & saying "mum, mum, mum" all the way.

Prob wont pop in for a little while as I have to pack, clean, etc & then will be offline for a bit whilst we visit family in SA on our way to QLD.

So hope you all are well & the little ones also. Anyone started thinking about 1st birthdays? I'm a bit excited we are having a "train" cake for Charlie tomorrow as the mum's wanted to have something for him before we left....then we will have a big party with the family later in the year when we head back home for a visit.

    Heeellllllllllloooooo (echo, echo)
I went to work again yesterday, great to see cash in my bank account!!! Am going to see the family day care lady today and see what i can organise for care. Maybe 2 or 3 days a week.
Olivias much better now. We went to the paed and he said shes doing great developmentally considering being in her harness for so long. Just needed to buy her some shoes to help her flatten her feet as she stands....will only prevent her walking any sooner, and hes not worried about her head.
Erin good luck with your move, as its such a big one. Wow that Charlie has 10 teeth.
Kristie, will let you know once i see the child care lady and we can organise a time to catch up.

Better go get myself some food,

    Take care all

    Love Melissa

    Hi!

Dylan's now walking between the furniture and toddling around a little around the lounge room!!! So cute! He's also really good at pointing to our noses, mouth an eyes! He's all of sudden decided that he likes books finally! He hasn't been to interested until now and I'm sure it's just because Louis loves them so much!
Poor little thing fell off the bed this morning...he's really good not climbing off (he even hops off the couch toes first) but it's when he sits back from crawling that he moves to close to the edge and fell right back...I felt so bad!!
He had gymbaroo yesterday and loved it!!! Except for when we have to lie them down and do activities - hates that bit...hehe.

Erin - Good luck on the move! What a big job!! Wow at Charlie's 10 teeth!!! I can't believe it!! Still no sign of any here yet! LOL! How cute your having a train cake!! I'm starting to get really excited about Dylans b'day. I'm thinking we're going to have to have a morning party for friends and then a family party in the arvo (we've only got a 2br unit so can't fit everyone at once - LOL) I'd ideally like to have it at the park but who knows what the weather will do in April!
I'm just stuck on a theme at the moment...Louis had bananas in pj's for his 1st and winnie the pooh for his 2nd...not sure what to do for Dylan yet..
    Any ideas?

Melissa - Glad your enjoying work! I'm a bit like that at the moment - I haven't had many parties on lately but have one tonight and tomorrow so am eager to earn a bit of money again!!

For Mel and Kaz - I'm having a Total Learning party at my house on Sun 24th Feb at 1pm if you'd like to come! I'm actually becoming a consultant of that as well so it's my launch party!! Let me know!
Otherwise I can always hold a book look for your mothers group/friends etc!! No pressure - just an invite...don't want you to think I'm pushy! LOL!

Really must get some housework done! Chat later!

    Hi All,
Well Mel I think we caught your lurgy....feel like **** so havent been doing a whole lot. Didn't work this week but I worked two last week so I guess that evens out hey?
Kris, beau is pointing at everything too - no steps yet but....Dylan is amazing! I guess he has his big bro to watch too hey? Beau cracks me up, he can be crying inhis cot to be picked up and then the minute he is is pointing and lisping "Pa" "th " etc !
Mel - I dont know whats going on with Beau's food and bum! He is pooing every nappy at the moment, he seems really sensitive towards food, but he is a little piggy and is now shoving the whole cruskit peice in his mouth and vomiting it up! Thats great the Paed thinks Olivia is doing so well, what rubbish about her head! My GP rang me the other day asking why I havnt taken B back to the paed about his little bird bath chest - made me feel soooo bad! Bad mother bad mother!
Erin - I hear you with the 'mum mum mum' all day! Good luck with your move and visits etc, Charlie has a mouthful now! 10 teeth! WOW! B has 6....
Ok better run, I have just done some canvases with Beau's name on them - I am going to have to 'edit' his room (and all our others) as you guys know I love to decorate! But I think when you sell a house it should be a bit simpler! i just bought some vaccum bags for all my extra cushions!!!! But something good with my decorating fetish, I hung all these awesome indian/maroccan fabric lanterns over his cot a week ago, and ever since he has chatted to them until he falls asleep!!! How cool is that?

Wow - you're house sounds great with all that decorating! I'm useless when it comes to all ofthat!

Mel - Forgot to say earlier that I'm glad everything is great with Olivia with her visit to the paed!!

    Hi girlies!!

Well another busy few days here. Lily has been sick for a few days and is a clingly little thing. It's the first time she's been sick and I feel sorry for her Shes only got a cold, but she's so miserable, all stuffy and clammy and snotty. She keeps on wiping her snotty nose on me!! And she won't let me put her down, which is ok cause all I can do is cuddle her anyway. She had three sleeps on me today, it's the first time I have let her sleep on her since she was tiny. But she feels better for it and so do I! I had a day off work for her today, my third day back and I'm having days off already but for her I'd do anything!! I don't really like it there anyway, so I don't care how many days off I'm taking...Plus I've hardly slep for three days die to my little snufaluffagus! I could have fallen asleep standing up this morning, thankfully mum had Lil for a few hours and let me sleep, though she ended up whinging for me after 1 1/2hrs and I had to get up. But it was enough sleep to get me to now!

Jen, I hope Beau's poos are better, LOL! Lil had a few that were pretty grotty a few days ago too, I have no idea why, they're back to normal now though thank goodness.

Kris, yeah, I'm pretty buggered. I need more time in my days! Even though I'm only working two days a week, it has made a big difference. I'm going to bed early tonight though!
Wow at Dylan starting to walk! He's such a clever monkey Lily is standing on her own now and cruising the furniture, but it will be a while before she walks yet. I have a 'mumumumumummm' all day bub too, hehe, she says it if she wants me or not, just when she's playing etc...drives me insane!

Mel, pg going well, thanks for asking. I forget that I'm pg sometimes. It is so different from my pg with Lily where all I did was worry- about what I ate, what I did, if it was the right thing, kwim? This time, I don't do any of that. I eat what I want (within reason!!) I do what I normally do, and I forget that I'm pg! I was lifting some boxes of clothes at mums today and she went psyco at me, telling me to put them down, that my brother could do it. I asked her why?? LOL, I completely forgot I'm pg that I shouldn't really do it .
Glad to hear that Olivia is doing so well, at least being in the harness will have no lasting ill effects. And that you're both feeling better.

Erin, wow at 10 teeth, his mouth will be full of teeth before you know it!! How cute! Yep, I've been thinking about Lil's bday too. I have no idea what we'll do. It will be at mums, a bbq I suppose. I want to make her a pretty cake too, but no idea what! It's coming around so fast! I can't believe my baby's going to be one!
Good luck with your move. I hope it all goes smoothely for you and that your DH's foot feels better and ha can help you .

Ok gotta go and SLEEP!!!! I hope everyone whos feeling yuck feels better soon.

    Have a great weekend.

    Hi!

Kel - Sorry to hear Lily's sick..poor little thing. Thats great you were able to get some extra sleep. Hope she's on the mend now.

Well - we went to a bbq last night and Dylan was walking around everywhere!! He's still mostly crawling but we plonk him down standing now rather than on his bottom/all 4's. He going really well. He'll walk from one piece of furniture to another and so on. Very cute!! He doesn't fall over either - he just squats back down for a rest or to crawl.
Visited a friend this morning who's building a house out in Gembrook. Absolutely gorgoeus! They've got about 14 acres of bush and it is sooo nice! They're building a little cottage house which is really cute and they've got veggie gardens going and chickens. Makes me wish we were moving up to the country again...
I had parties on Fri and Sat as well so I'm buggered. Michael's worked all weekend as well so we haven't really had any chill out time...We need a holiday at home I think!! Hehe.

k - babies are catching up with sleep after going to bed at 11pm last night!!!! So I should get some tidying done while it's quiet!

    Hi Everybody!
Just wanted to drop in say hi...
Beau has a new word "bubba" and is clapping his hands which is super cute.
DH is going away on thursday for the weekend so it will be a quiet one around here....last weekend we made a hasty trip up the coast to check out real estate which was a HHHUUUGGGGEEE mistake with Beau in the car - 6 hours sitting down (with some breaks) was way too much for him and he whinged even into the next day!!! Since having the flu I have had vertigo and have been feeling really crappy but much better today which is lucky as I am working tomorrow and will have to climb a ladder....
Ok Dh is home gotta run x

Just a quick one from me...I'll be back at work tomorrow for 3 days a week and Olivia is going to family day care. I have already teared up just thinking about it, but I am sure she'll be fine...and so will I.
Olivia has 4 teeth now and thanks Kristie for the tip with the tooth brush. I just give it to her while I brush and she kind of copies me
    Have 2 go bed....

    Hi Ya
Worked today which was sweaty! Have had to write Beaus routine on our big chalkboard in the kitchen for our nanny as he is soooo overtired when we get home - but he had two sleeps today so all was well (except for the purple callippo ice block spilled on my favourite rug!)
erin - how super exciting! Take it easy on yourself moving...first time with bubs - would be so so so much harder.
kris - the boys must be little fishes by now!
mel - you guys will be fine - you will appreciate your time with bubba even more.
Bought a super cute cardi for B today...am trying to stock up for winter now before all the cute stuff sells. (thats my excuse)

    Hi!

We had Dylans check up this morning (only because he's quite little) and he's now 8.85kg! LOL! and nearly 73cm. He's going so well though that we're not too worried about him being so light - he eats heaps!!
He's so clever - he knows mouth, eyes and nose and is always saying uh-oh and dropping things -hehe. He also knows cow, horse and pig (from stickers in the bath -LOL) When I say he knows - he points to them when I ask where they are!
He's walking around everywhere now!! So cute...

Better rush - we're off to gymbaroo soon!

Melissa - Hope you guys are going ok with Olivia in the family day care! I'm sure you are!

Jen - Sounds like a good idea to have your routine there for the nanny. Oh no on the stain!
LOL - who needs an excuse for shopping?
In saying that..I bought the most gorgeous Steve madden heels in myer the other day - have no purpose for them whatsoever but they were a bargain - $170 down to $75!!! So shouldn't have but oh well!
