Oh...i have a little secret...just did a hpt and well what do you know. I got a bfp in the middle of the day. 2 lines came up straight away. I am so excited. DF and I are going to try very hard to keep it a secret until our wedding day in 3 weeks. I hope we can. The only thing is my hens night is next week and we are having ****tails. My bridesmaid will be here soon to finalise stuff and I have decided to tell her so we can work it out together.

    Well thats my news!!!

Yeah Mel!! Congratulations!!! Ooh we will be due very close together I imagine!!!
How exciting for you!! Bugger at missing out on your hens night drinks! LOL! How are you feeling??? Have you got symptoms??

Kel - I've been feeling quite nauseous but nothing to really wipe me out iykwim? It doesn't seem to matter if it's when I've eaten, when I'm hungry, when I'm eating it's just there lingering...LOL!
Yeah at Lily walking!! How exciting!!! There'll be no stopping her now! Gosh..your good looking up cakes...I should probably get more organised for Dylans b'day...

I didn't get out of bed until 11am this morning!! Aaahh bliss! Dh even tidied up the kitchen for me (it was feral) then we just chilled out at home, went to the shops in the arvo for some supplies for tomorrow - basically stuff for a cooked brekky...
I'm excited to be easter bunny tonight - we're going to make bunny footprints through the hallway to the back door and hide eggs everywhere!! I'm so excited!

I need inspiration - what are you guys getting your kids for their b'days??? I have no idea and I've been shopping and there's nothing I like...I'm feeling really awful about it at the moment...I just want to get something thats a bit special...it's so hard though as we already have so many toys for Louis that he doesn't really need anything...crazy I know...

    Happy Easter!

Kris, I'm not getting much at all for Lily, though there is heaps I would love to buy her!! But she doesn't need alot. She will get gifts from friends and family, and she won't know what's going on. We don't have alot of money and I would rather spend it on her actual celebration, rather than toys she will use for five minutes. She doesn't have alot of toys, but she also doesn't need alot. She's still only a baby, and even if she was bigger, she would still not have too many toys. I'm not a big believer in buying alot or spoiling kids. She doesn't get toys/gifts during the year really, other than books or for celebrations. I might get the occaisional thing, but only something small.
I want to get her textas and crayons, paints and brushes, maybe an easel, though I don't really have anywhere to put it, so I'm not sure. They are also a bit expensive, so maybe we can do that for another time, LOL! Probably some books, puzzles, other 'thinking' toys. Maybe a few winter clothes... I don't really buy her the more novelty toys, I let mum and her uncles do that, hehe. What a stingy meanie I sound like, LOL!! Though I did see a train with animals and stuff on it that sings which I thought she'd love. She likes cars and trucks and stuff, my little petal!! Maybe she should have been a boy??? But I probably won't get her all of that those are just ideas I have. We'll have to see how much we can afford to spend.

Ok gonna go and have a warm bath, hmmm....Happy easter girlies and bubbas!!

Thanks girls. I am testing in the morning just to make double sure, but the 2 lines came up straight away so its pretty positive. I am due on the 28th November I think. I have been feeling tired the past few days, had a bad headache as well and the similar nausea feeling in the back of my throat since Thursday...that kind of gave it away.

As for presents for Olivia which is only tuesday week away...well I am a bit like you Kel, we dont buy much coz we have family and friends who i know will spoil her, but even if we didnt have them, we arent too big on loads of stuff. She has more fun with boxes and paper. i like the idea of getting her to use her imagination. Books and drawing stuff is on my list of stuff. I also want to see if I can get her some of those yellow hats, rain coats and gumboots...just have to find them.

Sorry I missed that Lil was walking...how cool is that. She will keep you busy!!!
Olivia is still waking at 2am at night, but we have managed to stop the feeds...just got to get her to resettle on her own...and not come in our bed to do it!!!

Ok better go, am hiding as we have visitors!!! Oh I told my bridesmaid today. Am not too fussed about missing out on drinking. But am hoping we can keep the suprise til then. I can see Adam is busting at the seams!!!

    Take care

    Love Melissa

Thanks guys...I know I'm a bit nuts about presents...I don't know why...we have soo much stuff with nowhere really to put it either that I am being a bit extra selective...Kmart's having a sale next week so I'll just go and get a few small things I think...alot of the stuff you guys have mentioned we already have...LOL...gosh - if I have another boy there'll be nothing left to buy - LOL! Nah - I'm excited to move later this year as we'll be able to get them a trampoline and swing set for chrissy so it will be an easy one!!
My whole families worried about them getting spoilt but I definitely don't just buy Louis everything he wants...especially now that he actually wants it - although most times he's happy to have a look at it in the shop and then we put it back without a tantrum or anything...
Arts and crafts are a great idea - I don't think it would matter if you wait though as we have all of it and Louis doesn't even use it that much now (but he's not really into it heaps either...) Usually he'll do it for 5-10min and then he's bored - LOL!
Puzzles are a good idea - I must actually grap some out tomorrow for Dylan to have a play with - see how he goes!! Louis always loved the wooden peg ones..

    Chat later...
