    Hi!

Not much from me either! Dylans being super cute lately though and I think he's finally starting to listen - sometimes! I had a dr's appt today and he was walking up the slide and then plonking down on his dummy and sliding down backwards - soo cute!
They've both been prescribed antibiotics as they've got pretty bad coughs poor little things. I booked in for an u/s but have to wait until the 1st April - grrr! I'm soo impatient!

Mel - Yeah at getting photos printed - I've got about 500-600 I'm waiting to print but I haven't put my last lot in an album yet so there's no point..another good one to try is My chemist - they send them away but if you have over 500 you only pay 10c per copy!!

Jen - Wow -sounds like you're super busy...I hope it all gets finished up soon!

    Hello ladies,

Mel, I have the u/s pics, but don't know how to resize them when I scan them so I can download them onto bellybelly, so I will have to get DH to do it for me. Will let you know when I do.
I love the piccies of Olivia, so cute!! I'm glad to see I'm not the only Mumma to let their little one get down and dirty. I let her crawl into the water the other day at the beach, clothes nappy and all, and this old lady walked past me and said 'Don't you think she's a bit little for that it's so cold' I told her 'Nope look at her she's having a ball!!'. And she was, trying to catch the water and chase the birds I should down load the piccies, it was so cute!

Kris, take care hun, you need to slow down a bit!! You need some extra rest or you'll burn out.
Thanks for the congrats. Yep, I'm so excited to have a boy. I have no idea why, but I think I would have been a bit disappointed if it was a girl again. I think Because DH is so against having another one, so I feel like if we had another he would only be doing it for me, not for the love of having children, kwim?? Now I feel like if we stopped it would be ok because we have one of each and I am a mumma to a girl and boy...It's strange I know.
Our little ones are so charismatic now aren't they? Everything Lil does now I just think to myself Ohh she's just so cute!! I could squeeze her all the time, even when she's naughty. She's just discovered getting into trouble and pushes my buttons very well already! I'm not looking forward to terrible twos....I'm thinking we'll have terrible ones!
I hope the boys are a bit better now.

Jen, it was funny when I asked if she could see what sex it is. She had said he was upside down so she couldn't get propper pics of his face and feet, so she asked me to go to the loo. I did and tried to jiggle him about a bit and then she tried again and the first thing we saw was his penis, Dh said 'ohh a woodle!! ' (That's what my nephew used to call his penis and it has stuck ever since, hehe!!) and I said 'Ohh its a boy!' She just laughed and said 'yes it looks like a boy, I gather you want a boy?' Was it so obvious?? LOL

Well we don't have much news here either....it's been pretty quiet!
Lily is pretty good, her sleeps have gone haywire again after sleeping through the night for four nights! The night before last she woke every hour after 12.30. I was soooo tired. DH was home though so I got a long nanna nap the next day, LOL! DH is on holidays in a few weeks for a few weeks, so we are going to try to sort out her sleeping. No more night bottles, no more rocking to sleep. Ugh I am really dreading it, she loves her snuggles and so do I, but she's just getting too big, she's 9.7kg's now and my belly is getting too big to hold her comfortably, not to mention my back aches like no tomorrow!
Lil's gone off her food too and is getting fussy with what she eats. But I just persevere. She only gets what I offer and then I'll offer it again after an hour or so if she doesn't eat. If she doesn't eat it again, then I give her something else, but she usually eats a bit of what I give her. It's usually guarenteed that she'll eat yogurt or avocado. She loves to eat food off my plate too. Last night I made her finger foods to eat for dinner- steamed carrot sticks, cauliflower chunks, pumpkin chunks and zucchini sticks. She nibbled on them a little, but refused most of it. When I sat to eat with her, she stole the carrots and cauliflower off my plate, so I just put her dinner on my plate and she ate it, little devil!!
Ok enough with my epic, I hope everyone is well...oh, has anyone heard from Kaz? She hasn't been around much at all lately? I hope all is well.
    Ok bye!!

    Hi!

Had a great night last night at the comedy festival gala - but it was a late one and by the time we picked the kids up and I crawled into bed it was nearly 1am!!
Louis is mostly over his cold and Dylan is in the heavy of it now poor little monkey...I just had to go and put the vaporiser on as he woke all snuffly and didn't want to sleep...he's hardly slept all day and spent like 2 hours just lying on the couch watch tv...He never does that!! I've been getting lots of cuddles though and he had a snooze with me on the couch this morning for 1/2 hour or so - until Louis was obviously sick of us sleeping and started making lots of noise to wake us up - lol!

Kel - I know! This week should be pretty cruisy though..dh even offered to help me get the housework done tomorrow! WOW!
Oh yeah...expect tantrums for 1 - I don't know why they say terrible two's - Louis had some really great ones from 1 and I think Dylans already started - if he's not allowed to have someone he gets so angry and frustrated!!
With the food...Dylan hates to eat different food to us and also likes to feed himself now...just a sign of them getting independent! Dylan eats all what we eat now anyway...risotto, pasta bakes, lasagne - I just chop it up a bit and throw it on the tray of the high chair and let him go for it...he eats way more this way...I even give him his own roast dinner etc...and he's only just got a tooth! He's always managed really well - the other night he had baked potatoes and he had chopped up sausage with it and he ate it all up!
Oh and I put it straight on to the tray of the high chair because if you put it on a plate or a bowl it will inevitably end up tipped on the floor!

Mel - How silly is it! I agree - I'm not giving Dylan any easter eggs...he's got a cute little bunny rabbit present instead...we don't go crazy at easter anyway and I've bought a few for Louis but nothing major - it will be more exciting going on the hunt with him this year! I'm so excited to hide them all outside!! We never did that when we were kids...
Wow - how exciting your wedding is just around the corner!!! Have fun finalising everything!!

It's so quiet in here!!! I hope everyone has a happy easter - we're not going away so I'll pop back in over the weekend anyway!!

Oh mi god just ost an epic post! How annoying!
    Here is the abbreviated version!
kel - you be strong while Dh is off to support you - it is good for her to learn and you need the rest too!
Mel - you must be getting super excited now your wedding is so close!!!
Kris - Hope the boys get better soon - you know they are not well when they are happy to watch telly being STILL!!
Us - Beau is unwell, power chuck last night and shoving his thumb right in the back of his mouth, I think its the big ones coming thru! I went and got some sm-33 and have been dosing him up with Panadol, he wakes every 20-30 min and is hot to touch but not too high a temp. He just woke and I nursed him back to sleep in my arms and he fell off - which he NEVER does so I know he is crook. Poor little sucker - he isnt 'my beau' at the moment...
Running around getting the house ready for the agent photographer on Tuesday - no turning back now!
I bought 10 eggs for a egg hunt with Beau and now there are seven left....It wasnt me I swear!!! Happy Easter everyone! Big kiss to bubbas - wheres Kaz?????

    Hi!

Another super lazy day for us - I'm loving it...topped off by indian takeaway for dinner and the max top 1000 music on all day! LOL! Kids even stayed in their pj's all day (until bathed and put in fresh pj's - hehe)
Made zucchini slice which was a hit with the boys....

Jen - Boys seem to be on the improve...still a way to go though..Dylan fell asleep sitting up on the couch this morning at about 9am for 45min and then had 2 more 1 1/2 sleeps today! He's only just gone to sleep now though...
Oh no - I hope Beau gets better soon the poor little thing...you just know when they're not right don't you??? Mothers intuition!!
LOL on the easter eggs...I think there's a egg snatcher in this house as well...LOL!

Pm'd Kaz so hopefully we hear from her soon!

    Hiya girlies!

Mel, Lily has gotten one egg so far, just a little one, and I gave her a bit to try- her first nibble on chocolate. She loved it and had it everywhere!! I think she had more smeared on her and the table that she actually ate...But Daddy and I ate the rest of it

Kris, glad to hear you're having a quiet few days for a change! How are you feeling? Any m/s or anything? I hope you're feeling good.
We don't have a high chair so I can't put her food on the tray. We have one of those chairs the attach to the table and the table is too far away to put the food staight onto it. I just give her food bit by bit.
I hope the boys are better now.
Good thinking pm'ing Kaz. Not something I thought of- I'm gonna blame baby brain!! I hope she's ok.

Jen, yeah I intend to take advantage of DH being home!! He's a pretty good help, if I spell things out for him to do, LOL! Otherwise he's pretty lazy. And he's great at procrastinating. I swept the floor and mopped today and he said 'why are you doing that?' I said 'the fairies won't do it' he said 'But I only did it a few days ago'. He'd done it a week and a half ago...He just has no idea of how often to do things, and thinks that things like the floor looks clean, so its ok. When I showed him the filthy water from the mop he couldn't believe it! I just hate having to tell him what to do all the time, I feel like such a nag
I hope Beau is better for you soon, poor little man. Sounds like alot of our bubs are out of sorts. Lil's not actually sick, but she's pretty temperamental and gets really sooky in the arvos. She's not sleeping well in the day time, waking between 1-4 times a night at least, and still isn't eating very well.

Well I am so so so bored!!!! We have been home all day and with nothing open and the weather being pretty miserable and having not much money....well it all makes for one boring day for Kellie!! I have been looking at websites for Lily's birthday and I think I have a cake design to try out- its a catterpillar and its so cute!! DH made up an invitation with some piccies of her and I will print them onto some pretty paper. I'm so exited!
Ohh!! Lil's started walking properly today, just standing up and walking around, she's so cute!! I will put some piccies up of her walking and trying to bop to Hi 5, it was so funny I can't believe she's getting so big.
Ok enough of my nattering, happy long weekends ladies!

DF and I are going to try very hard to keep it a secret until our wedding day in 3 weeks. I hope we can. The only thing is my hens night is next week and we are having ****tails. My bridesmaid will be here soon to finalise stuff and I have decided to tell her so we can work it out together.

Yeah Mel!! Congratulations!!! Ooh we will be due very close together I imagine!!!
How exciting for you!! Bugger at missing out on your hens night drinks! LOL! How are you feeling??? Have you got symptoms??

Kel - I've been feeling quite nauseous but nothing to really wipe me out iykwim? It doesn't seem to matter if it's when I've eaten, when I'm hungry, when I'm eating it's just there lingering...LOL!
Yeah at Lily walking!! How exciting!!! There'll be no stopping her now! Gosh..your good looking up cakes...I should probably get more organised for Dylans b'day...

I didn't get out of bed until 11am this morning!! Aaahh bliss! Dh even tidied up the kitchen for me (it was feral) then we just chilled out at home, went to the shops in the arvo for some supplies for tomorrow - basically stuff for a cooked brekky...
I'm excited to be easter bunny tonight - we're going to make bunny footprints through the hallway to the back door and hide eggs everywhere!! I'm so excited!

I need inspiration - what are you guys getting your kids for their b'days??? I have no idea and I've been shopping and there's nothing I like...I'm feeling really awful about it at the moment...I just want to get something thats a bit special...it's so hard though as we already have so many toys for Louis that he doesn't really need anything...crazy I know...

    Happy Easter!

Kris, I'm not getting much at all for Lily, though there is heaps I would love to buy her!! But she doesn't need alot. She will get gifts from friends and family, and she won't know what's going on. We don't have alot of money and I would rather spend it on her actual celebration, rather than toys she will use for five minutes. She doesn't have alot of toys, but she also doesn't need alot. She's still only a baby, and even if she was bigger, she would still not have too many toys. I'm not a big believer in buying alot or spoiling kids. She doesn't get toys/gifts during the year really, other than books or for celebrations. I might get the occaisional thing, but only something small.
I want to get her textas and crayons, paints and brushes, maybe an easel, though I don't really have anywhere to put it, so I'm not sure. They are also a bit expensive, so maybe we can do that for another time, LOL! Probably some books, puzzles, other 'thinking' toys. Maybe a few winter clothes... I don't really buy her the more novelty toys, I let mum and her uncles do that, hehe. What a stingy meanie I sound like, LOL!! Though I did see a train with animals and stuff on it that sings which I thought she'd love. She likes cars and trucks and stuff, my little petal!! Maybe she should have been a boy??? But I probably won't get her all of that those are just ideas I have. We'll have to see how much we can afford to spend.

Ok gonna go and have a warm bath, hmmm....Happy easter girlies and bubbas!!

Thanks girls. I am testing in the morning just to make double sure, but the 2 lines came up straight away so its pretty positive. I am due on the 28th November I think. I have been feeling tired the past few days, had a bad headache as well and the similar nausea feeling in the back of my throat since Thursday...that kind of gave it away.

As for presents for Olivia which is only tuesday week away...well I am a bit like you Kel, we dont buy much coz we have family and friends who i know will spoil her, but even if we didnt have them, we arent too big on loads of stuff. She has more fun with boxes and paper. i like the idea of getting her to use her imagination. Books and drawing stuff is on my list of stuff. I also want to see if I can get her some of those yellow hats, rain coats and gumboots...just have to find them.

Sorry I missed that Lil was walking...how cool is that. She will keep you busy!!!
Olivia is still waking at 2am at night, but we have managed to stop the feeds...just got to get her to resettle on her own...and not come in our bed to do it!!!

Ok better go, am hiding as we have visitors!!! Oh I told my bridesmaid today. Am not too fussed about missing out on drinking. But am hoping we can keep the suprise til then. I can see Adam is busting at the seams!!!

    Take care

    Love Melissa

Thanks guys...I know I'm a bit nuts about presents...I don't know why...we have soo much stuff with nowhere really to put it either that I am being a bit extra selective...Kmart's having a sale next week so I'll just go and get a few small things I think...alot of the stuff you guys have mentioned we already have...LOL...gosh - if I have another boy there'll be nothing left to buy - LOL! Nah - I'm excited to move later this year as we'll be able to get them a trampoline and swing set for chrissy so it will be an easy one!!
My whole families worried about them getting spoilt but I definitely don't just buy Louis everything he wants...especially now that he actually wants it - although most times he's happy to have a look at it in the shop and then we put it back without a tantrum or anything...
Arts and crafts are a great idea - I don't think it would matter if you wait though as we have all of it and Louis doesn't even use it that much now (but he's not really into it heaps either...) Usually he'll do it for 5-10min and then he's bored - LOL!
Puzzles are a good idea - I must actually grap some out tomorrow for Dylan to have a play with - see how he goes!! Louis always loved the wooden peg ones..
