    Oh no Danni!

I actually had a good night!! After I was losing my mind when he wouldn't settle at about 9.45 he eventually went to sleep and stayed that way until 2.45am!! Fed well and settled back down easily...Dh popped the dummy in when he was up for work at about 5.45am and then I didn't hear from him until 7.45! Woohoo. Of course I had Louis up as well at around 4amish...

I had Lily up until 11pm last night.....but then she slept until 5.45 and then until 8.15 in bed with me! I was worried she'd think it was time to get up at 5.45 since that's about the time she normally gets up, but no....thank god!

    Hey Girls,
I took Olivia to the gp yesterday coz both eyes were getting a bit worse and I have some ointment. Hopefully that will clear it up quick.
Can I just say I feel like a new woman. Olivia wouldnt settle all evening, grumpy, showing signs of being tired. I literally fed her alll the time. I was in bed at 11pm and I woke up at 4am and said to Adam..."have you got up to feed her coz shes been asleep for 5 hours" (knowing he hadnt coz he sleeps through!!), we heard her squirm, so I turned over and went back to sleep and she woke at 6am. Thats 7 hours OMG. I fed her and by 730am I was back in bed. Its now 1010am and shes still asleep. I woke up at 930 and I just feel great.
I hope you all had a good sleep.
    Congrats caro on the house.
    Better go eat
    Love Melissa

Iggy has really dropped feeds now. I will be interested to see his weight today (vaccinations today - eek!). He has dropped one feed overnight so we seem to be down to just one - yay! Last night i fed him before bed at 10pm then we had a 3am feed then he was awake at 7am for plays but didnt feed until 8am.
Just came back from the coast yesterday. It was nice to be away but its always nice to be home again. Feels like Monday now so I am all out with my days.
Re: solids - I was told by the hospital that bubs cant digest solid stuff until 6 months so not to put them on it till then. I am not in a hurry to feed solids or to get him to sleep more so am not really worried. I think we try and hurry them sometimes.
Has anyone got any good plans for the weekend? I am meeting up with friends and doing some work. I have to present at a conference next week and haven't even started my presentation. Lucky DH is on holidays so he can do some Iggy stuff and give me some time.
How are all your exercise programs going? After having big plans I have only gotten on the bike once. My bum is so big now.
Well hope you are all well.

Caro I definately understand what you are saying in regards to the "farex" issue. Also agree as to it being a shame its available - just thought I'd ask & see what you guys all thought. I know several people who have started early, one in particular as bubs was still waking every 1.5hrs at night to bf.
I'm not that eager to start Charlie early as he's pretty good at night already & he's not 3months yet & he weighed just under 6kg!! Chubby little boy.

Great to hear Michael is a lot more settled,I've heard that can happen around the 3month mark. My mother's group wants to have a party when all the bubs are that age What medicine are you using for the reflux? We've been using Gaviscon in Charlie's bottle but doesn't seem to make much difference.

Well Hubby started back at work today & Charlie decided to protest his morning nap I knew he was just showing off the past 3days. Ahhhhh!!!

Oh we are just home from our vaccinations. Iggy cried of course and I almost did but he recovered quicker than I expected. Just having a feed now. We had him all measured up and he is a whopper! He is 65cm and 6.85kg! His head is 42cm.
How is everyone coping with the winter weather? Our house is soo cold. Hopefully this will only last a couple of weeks.
Isn't it nice for our little bubs to fall asleep in our arms! Sometimes I wish I was a little bub again.

melissa: yay! hopefully this is the beginning of lots of long sleeps

Yep erin: my baby is breastfed and sleeps for atleast 7 hours at night, feeds, then another 3 or 4 hour sleep. Normally its 9 hours but last night was 7.

Krys: what a big boy! youre obviously doing all the right things!

Mason is FINALLY out of his 0000 all in one suits. the 000s are still big but he has to wear them now! cant wait to weigh him next week. If he is still putting on 330 grams a week then he should be around 6kg!

caro: im so darn proud too. My bub has come a long way with my perserverance with this breastfeeding !!

    Hi All.

Caro- I'm so so glad that things have turned around for you and Michael! There has been a real *spring* to your last few posts!! Yay. Congratulations on the house too, how exciting for you and your family

Kellie- there are lots of places where you can find jobs directly with the parents and people are definately up for having a nanny with a bubba. I put my details on one website and have already got a few replies, one that I'm pretty keen on which is looking after a one year old girl two days a week. They are very keen and have no problem with me taking Hazel along. It would probably actually be really good for both Hazel and their little girl to have a playmate. I'm not sure whether I can put the websites on here for you, Anyone?? If not let me know your email address and I will email them to you!

All you other ladies, sounds like our bubbas are beginning to "grow up" a bit and are sleeping better. Hazel has had two great nights now and has dropped a feed too so we seem to have only 2 now from 7am to 7pm YAY. I got some pics through from two friends in the UK who've just had bubbas and Hazel just seems huge and such a little girl compared to them.. I'm with you all on getting broody again!

    Hi eveyone,

Charlie slept for 9hrs last night I got up to check on him at one stage as I was worried about him. And to make things even better after his feed he slept another 4hrs til 7am. Usually we are up & down from about 4.30am onwards putting in the dummy to get him to sleep til at least 6.30am. Hope he's that good tonight

Caro I think there is definately a good change when your baby gets to the 3month mark. Charlie is almost there & we have noticed a massive change in the past week. Especially with him learing to sleep in the arvo when we put him into bed. Great to hear you feel 100% better.

As for the excercise programme, easier said than done. Living in a small town I walk everywhere so that's good for my legs. But that's about it, hard to get to Gym etc with bubs & hubby long work hours. I attempt yoga every Fri morning, it's a Mum's & Bub's session, though with all the bubs not a lot of yoga gets done

Can anyone help me please with any suggestions you have, I have to buy a Birthday present for a little girl who's just turned 2 & have no idea what to get. There's not a lot of shopping options up here & most of the stuff in the toy shop is aged 3+. Any ideas???????

Wow Erin, 9 hours thats great. Sorry am no good with ideas on that stuff!
Olivia slept crap last night, I think she likes to give a taste of what she can do then just do the opposite. Although she has been a bit grizzly today.
Hope you are all well, its frezzing and I cant wait for the summer.
    Take care

    HI everyone,

Well we have had a few busy days. TOday we went out and brought a whole heap of clothes for me and Lil (mostly Lil..) in the sales. We shopped all day from about 11am til 4.30! Lily was such a good girl, dozing and looking at the lights all day. We then came home, got changed in a mad rush and left to try to get to Campbelltown for a birthday party in half an hour in friday night peak hour traffic...not possible!! We were half anhour late but we all looked good, 'specially Lily who got ''oh how cute is she ?!'' comments all night. I feel so proud whenever people say those things.
We had a great night too, with Lily only waking once at 4:30 then sleeping til 7.35! Woohoo, hopefully thise 5.00 starts have gone, sooooo not a mornign person! Mind you it took me ages to get her to sleep again, about two hours of waking and putting to bed and waking and putting to bed.....very tedious and draining.
I have noticed changes in Lily these past few days too, like she really looks at you when you talk to her and she talks back, like she's having a conversation with you, and she tries to copy facial expressions. Things certainly change quickly don't they!
Anyway the princess is finally asleep after a big day (she was very overtired) so I'd better get a shower in and go to bed too...
Sorry no energy for personals, glad to hear everyone seems to be well.
    Night everyone, sleep tight!

    G'day.

Erin-OMG what a fantastic nights sleep. Fingers crossed it happens again tonight! I am looking forward to the three month mark when Hazel might finally settle down for some decent day sleeps. As for the present idea- I always buy children books. They are so good for them and if you buy a classic and write a personal message they make a really special present that the child can treasure.

Just watching 'Uptown Girls'. OMG Dakota Fanning is an amazing little actress! Think my pregnancy sentimentality is here to stay.

Have a great weekend everyone. I am off to my sister's near Byron Bay for the weekend which will be lovely x x

    Hi!

Dh's Parents have wireless so I've brought the computer up! Wow - I've got heaps to catch up on! I'll try my best...

Hmm whats news for us?? I've surrendered to the fact that Dylans only napping...He's sleeping ok at night so thats the main thing. In fact last night I fed him at about 8.45pm and then not again until 6am!!! (Although he was in bed with me from 12pm!) He's such a happy little munchkin though with lots of smiles when he's up though so thats good. Still lots of wind and sickies but he's ok...

Danni - Nice to see you and Mason on Thursday. Sorry to hear you had such a bugger of a morning. Masons just gorgeous! When I said I was up at 4am it was only for a second - only to shove the dummy in and calm him down after his coughing!!!
Yeah for Mason getting out of 0000 jumpsuits - woohoo! You should be very proud of yourself.

Kel - Glad you had a great night! Yeah on the shopping! Our little bubbas are certainly growing up fast! I love having chats with Dylan!

Melissa - Glad Olivias eyes are clearing up. Dylans have been a bit weepy and I squirted him with milk which was quite amusing...kept squirting in the wrong direction - hehe. Hopefully it won't get any worse...
Glad you got such a great nights sleep as well! (and then a bad one...bugger)
I'm with you - bring on summer!

Krys - Glad iggy's going so well! Yeah on only one overnight feed! LOL at having a big bum - I can certainly relate - this weight just doesn't want to drop off very easily. Although I haven't been to the gym this week cos we've all been sick...Will make sure I get out next week.
Glad Iggy went well with his immunisations! Wow what a big boy!!! Ooh it's so nice having cuddles with bubs...I'm loving sleepign together overnight. I never did it really with Louis because everyone warned me that I would "spoil him" and stupidly I listened...if only I could turn back the clock...

Erin - Sorry to hear bubba's playing up again now that dh's back at work! Always the way...Yeah on the great sleeps!! Presents - maybe some Fisher price little people?? Food/kitchen play sets??? Crafts - play doh/crayons/paints etc...

Caro - Wow Caro - I'm so glad you're enjoying your little man so much! It is always a tough time those first few months - especially with another one to look after! It is so fantastic when you get to enjoy the fun moments with them now - smiles and giggles! Congrats on the weight gain! Sounds like the sleeping's going super well also!

Christy - So glad Hazels going along so well! Hope you have a great weekend away!

Omg...I've written an epic - chat later!

    haha Kristie on wireless

Great to see you guys too.

I have a HUGE breakthrough over here! Yesterday morning Mason fell asleep in my arms and I put him down on my breastfeeding pillow and he was on his side. I expected him to wake up immediately like every other time...

Instead he slept for 3 hours and then i had to wake him to go out! he slept yesterday arvo for 3 hours and again this morning for 3 hours too! all on his side.

Kristie: have you tried putting Dylan on his side?

Remembering Mason would not sleep longer than 15 or 20 mins in a whole day if he wasnt in the HAB or car...gosh this is heaven!
