Danni, wow that's great. Not only sleeping for 10hrs but then until 9am!! Charlie will not sleep past 7am, no matter what time he goes to bed, some days he's up by 6.30 (like today!!!) usually after his 5.30 feed I get back into bed, get comfy & i'm getting out again, frustrating.
I'm really trying to push him out to 4hr feeds, thinking that may make a difference at night with sleeping longer, perhaps. He's still drinking little very frequently, not sure how its going to go, this morning he was hungry half hour before his feed was due so not sure how I'll get him to go past an hr. One step at a time, think I'll stretch it bit by bit each day. We've gone a bit backwards with night time sleeps at the moment, just when you think it's working everything changes. Sometimes in this cold weather I think even just the pj's i put him in make a difference.
As for dummies, I was given several as presents & thought I'd try a new one a couple days ago. It was a real hit, he could keep it in much better than the one he has now. Then I realised he could keep it in so well that each time he lost it he was waking up - have since taken that dummy away & gone back to the old one. I prefer he just us it for comfort then spit it out.
