We are well, we went to visit my work (childcare centre) today, it was lovely to see everyone. My kids (as I call them!!) are all getting sooo big! It's only been about 4 months since I saw them all and they are so grown up. It was great to see everyone and the kids were so excited to see Lily now that she out of my tummy!! LOL! We then walked home- about 45min walk and Lily slept all the way home only waking when we stopped, hehe. I miss being at work but don't want to go back, does that make sense???
She's slept pretty well today, still not longer than 45 mins but she's had 3 sleeps so far. We had a huge sleep together yesterday, she slept with me in bed from about 2-4pm! Every now and then I need a huge day sleep to catch up I think! I try not to sleep in the day time too often and don't usually need it but once in a while.... That just prooves that she can do it and I think she needs it, but she just can't seem to settle herself and stay aseep. It did put her sleeps out of whack at night too, with her waking at 2.30 then 6.00. She did go back to sleep with me until 8am but in our bed...
Danni, lucky you with Masons big sleep. Maybe it was the blankets, I know I feel cosier and sleep well when I have my heavy doona and blankies on me!!
I was wondering too, if you don't mind... are you still on motilium? How much do you take a day? How long do you think you'll be on it? And how expensive is it for how much? I ask because I am taking it now, 10mg 3time a day. It still doesn't seem to be enough as Lil still needs a top up bottle (about 80-100ml each) by about 3-4pm onwards or she's really unsettled and hungry. I can't really afford to get a breast pump, even to hire one to try to increase my supply, I do have a manual one I use about 2 time a day for 5mins each bb, though it's a bit hard on my nipples iykwim?! I have read on some threads here that some people are on it long term, which I don't mind, but my dr. is being difficult...I practically had to beg for this prescription and she told me to try to go off it slowly, which I know will jsut have the same results as before when I did it. I'm paying about $12.25 for 25 tablets.
Erin, Lily will suck on any dummy you put into her mouth!! Hehehe... We have 4 different types I give her only one type, but DH gives her any of them, she seems happy enough to suck on any of them!She's not too fond of them anyway, and usually spits it out if I give it to her at times other than sleeptime (even spits it then sometimes), much preferring her fist instead! I hope your theory works for Charlie's sleeps!
